Thank you soo much for this, I tried going thru nexus and MO2 and adding single mods at a time and got completely frustrated with cycles and load order conflicts....and this made it as smooth as butter.....
all i get is install failed every single time? Copied your steps and other peoples and still nothing is working? Its a clean legit skyrim folder bought through steam. Frustrating the hell out of me the fact i was over 2 hours for an install that gets to the last steps and fails n no matter how many types i close and reopen wabbajack to retry it always fails it makes no sense to me
I'm glad this thing exists, I tried to download a mod list of like 500 mods from a showcase and it was hell as the mods have conflicts you have to sort out and I had no idea how to set them correctly and keep running into problems. Now I'll just download a whole set from Phoenix.

Hey, I'm one of the admins for Wabbajack. Just wanted to say thanks for this extremely informative video. A few observations: You don't need to manually create the Downloads folder. That path will autofill when you select the installation path (assuming you haven't touched the downloads path field), and Wabbajack will create the folder for you. That Noir readme screenshot was mildly ridiculous, I'm gonna see about changing that one... Other than that, very well done. I'm going to talk to the other admins and see about making a command that pulls up a link to this video so we can use it as a sort of official tutorial. Thanks again!

Unfortunately I’m not sure who you would go about that... I assume you could add German patches, but the modlists are so massive and compiled specifically that you may break something.. I would for sure hit up the Wabbajack discord on that one bud I’m sorry!

I think imma have to uninstall my steam app and download it outside of x86 but luckily I only have 2 games installed on steam so it won't be too much of a headache. One question I had is does it affect anything if the files are located on 2 separate drives? I normally have my steam application on the C drive and all my games on the D drive

It could be a failed download. Try to edit it of Wabbajack and relaunch. A few different factors go in. Your best bet is to join the Wabbajack discord. They offer support there that should sort things out. Best of luck!
Sorry to bother you man, but I spent all weekend following videos including this one and the instructions in wabbajack to try and install the Phoenix Flavour Dragon's Edition but everytime after it takes all that time to download i get an "installation failed". I read somewhere online that there may be a patch or something I have to download manually but nowhere can I find instructions or advice on how to do this. Would you happen to have any advice, tips, guide or something that would allow an extreme newbie like myself to be able to install this? Does the Phoenix Flavour have to be installed first before the Dragon's edition can be? I'm not a total idiot, but brand new to PC gaming and zero experience with modding. Thanks!
Hey there! You shouldn’t need Phoenix flavor to install dragons edition. Have you checked the pinned messages on the discord? Sometimes they will have a link there for a mod or two that Wabbajack has difficulty downloading, or a site that isn’t nexus mods. It could be possible that the download is hidden, removed, or has been updated. If that’s the case, unfortunately there’s nothing you can do but wait. I would try the discord first though :)
@@PhyrexisGaming I'm having the same issue, installation failed after the download and then the mod folder has nothing but 7z and .rar files without any of the folders or executables shown in the video. I tried redoing it all without antivirus on as well with no luck. There do seem to be several files that aren't able to be downloaded and I'm not totally sure why. I've followed all of your instructions very carefully on your installation guide and keep coming to the same result which is a failed installation.
@@hronk hey there! I would try rerunning if you haven’t already. Are you saying you gave the downloaded files (mods) but you don’t have any of the other folders? It’s possible that it missed the other assets, and rerunning wabbjack to overwrite installation and picking the folder that you created for the modlist should fix it. If not, hit up the Wabbajack discord, (it’s in description) and they should be able to help guide you depending on what list you’re trying to install
Might try rerunning Wabbajack. There will be a downloads folder that it accessed and installed from. It likely is missing files. Worse case, hit up the discord if that doesn’t work for support for the modlist. It may be having an issue
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I keep getting an error that it can’t find skse64_loader.exe does not exist 😒😩. I downloaded the Elysium Remastered (took almost 24hrs for 500gb file) I followed the install instructions to install Root…but I still don’t truly know what I’m doing…I may just give up and play regular…this is like my 5th time trying to use mod2 with Loot and Fnis and skse etc…I’m pretty worn out mentally at this stage 😔
Man… I’m sorry to hear the trouble. I truly get modding fatigue, I truly do. If you’ve already downloaded the file and just won’t launch, you could try copying the stock game folder files to the base game folder files. Make sure it’s actually there. Or, if it’s not there and it’s just the skse files, you could always manually drag the files (get it from silver lock I think? Been a while) If I were you though, I would join the Wabbajack discord. The link is in the description. Once there, I would find the Elysium modlist, and search in the text (top right of screen on discord) that very error or key wording. It likely is a simple fix for what you’re experiencing. IF your pc can run it, I can promise you the wait and effort are truly worth it my friend. Again, I would take an hour or so and just step away and do something else, play another game, etc. I wish you the best of luck, I truly do.
@phyrexisgmaing Thank you for the tutorial, one question though: Ive downloaded the Phoenix Flavor Modpack and seems like there isnt a "Game Folder Files" Folder. Do you know what I would have to look for?
Is it a legal copy? If so may try uninstalling and reinstalling and removing any altered files. It should let you verify files, it doesn’t require you to launch the game exe to check for it to my knowledge
Best bet would be clean install. I would install outside of program files x86 if you haven’t. Note this will wipe the rest of games installed, and saves if you do this. I can’t speak for if SKSE count as altered, but if it’s not in the base game folder, then would be considered altered.
Might try redownloading to see if any files were missed. Some of the modlists now have game stock folder, or stock folder instead of what’s in video. If that doesn’t work, for sure hit up the discord for support, as they will be able to help more than I can with my current schedule.
this is probably a dumb question but does this work with fallout new vegas? i know you mentioned it should work with every game but the files are a lot different since im installing viva new vegas and i wanna be 100% sure im doing things right since i've been trying to remod new vegas the past few days lol
I wouldn’t update the mods manually. That’s up to you, but likely would need more patches, best just to wait for the modlist author to update the mods in the next update
I have a weird issue. I downloaded LS2 and installed a fresh copy of Skyrim SE, I run MO2 and change the path to point to my game folder which is C://SteamLibrary ect MO2 recognizes that and it shows correct in the settings. But when I hit Launch it gives me an error saying : skse in D://Steam bla bla does not exist.. My game is not in D and I changed the path to where it is, but MO2 still points to the wrong path and I have no idea why that is or how to change it/fix it..
Hmm... I’m honestly not too sure... did you use mod organizer to mod your game before this? And did you make sure to copy all the game folder files and launch mod organizer from the custom folder you made? Your best bet is to hit up the Wabbajack discord. I’m sorry but I haven’t ran into this issue at all. If I can help I will, but currently at a loss..
@@PhyrexisGaming Thanks for the reply, I found the problem. I initially changed the path in the settings. But I also had to change the path of the executables separately. Once I've done that, it's working flawlessly! Hope this also helps someone else ^^
Make sure you have the enb series files. If the enb comes with the modlist you just drag and drop files in your game directory with SKSEloader. Then you just launch the game. Top left screen should have text pop up if done correctly

Check for a stock games folder! Most of the lists have that now. I’m honestly not sure if you still need to copy the files, but it couldn’t hurt. If you don’t have stock game folder or game Folder files, try rerunning Wabbajack to overwrite installation in case it missed something.
Hi, where do you copy and paste the other builds to? I have managed get the Kiezaal build up and running and was wondering if I wanted (for example) the NOIR build would it be the exact same process? So when you are wanting to run more then one modlist, simply delete the game folder files that you added to your Skyrim directory from the previous modlist installed (example would be like NOIR) Then copy the game files from the new modlist (example Elysium) that you’re wanting to use and paste to Skyrim directory and launch that mod organizer through the Elysium folder. It’s that easy. Just rinse and repeat :) personally, I use the utility list and build themed modlists (My Interesting NPCs play though for an example) hope this makes sense!
Do wabbajack need to be in the same drive as the mod list? let's say i installed wabbajack in C drive can i download for example Elysium and put it in D drive ?
You should be able to yes. As far as I know, Wabbajack can set the path even from a different drive when you go to install the modlist. I only have one drive currently, so I haven’t tested it myself, but you should be able to do two different drives without issue
@@elrosith88 if it isn’t in the discord it likely is set to hidden. Unfortunately most modlists share the same main mods so it’s likely they won’t download. The good news is once the mod is set from hidden to seen, you can rerun the launcher and it will pick up where it left off. You may try to re run it, and if that doesn’t work then check out the Wabbajack discord and your list you’re trying to download and see if there is a pinned message about a certain mod that wont down load that’s on another site.
Do you own a legal copy through steam? Is it outside of program files x86? I honestly haven’t tried installing a morrowind modlist. Have you tried the discord support for that modlist? Might be the best bet
When I run the installation of MOISE which is for Morrowind, the slides continue through each mod but my download folder stays empty. After this I realized it says in the terminal kind of part "Could not locate Morrowind" . Do I have to somehow tell Wabbajack where the game is?
I’m honestly not too sure. I mean, as long as it’s a copy on steam on the same drive as the rest I would think it would automatically locate it, however I haven’t tried that myself. The information at 3:20 is not OK. Wabbajack downloads a standalone executable. It's not a traditional installer. If you want it to run from the "wabbajack mod installer" folder, you need to place the downloaded file there. The way you described it will run wabbajack from the download folder, and it will create a bunch of files in your download folder for the current version that it downloads at runtime. This works fine, but it will clutter up your download folder with wabbajack stuff you might accidentally delete someday.
I apologize, and you are correct. It honestly had been a minute before I had Installed it manually and so I am mistaken on that. You do need to install it out other downloads folder and end of the custom folder that you created. Good catch, as I don’t watch this as much lately and really since I made it. It won’t be in mod organizer.. it should he in the game folder directory or stock game folder. Should just be click and go. If not, try redownloading and last ditch check the discord for that modlist.
Check for “Stock Game” folder! It’s the same thing. I don’t believe you need to copy the files over anymore. It has its own cloud in the folder it launches off of. You do need to move the enb files I believe though if you want to enb. If you don’t have that, try re running Wabbajack and overwrite the install folder. It shouldn’t take long, and will fetch any missing files or folders.
What’s your error message? Need a little more to go off of than that. Did you create a folder for the modlist to set to? Example create your folder for modlist, launch Wabbajack and select the modlist you want, set the path to the folder you made and it should automatically create either a downloads folder within the folder you set it to, or you can create a downloads folder elsewhere if you want your mods all together so it can access them. Also he sure to sign in to nexus with your account. Lastly, if you don’t have premium, you have to download every mod manually as it takes you one by one. Hopefully this helps. Best bet is to hit up the Wabbajack discord in description and join. From there, find your modlist and they can support there better than I can, best of luck!
Two separate modlists together? No. You can add mods to the modlist, but forfeit all support for any changes made if troubleshooting or need for support occurs

If I had to guess, if it’s a Aldrnari it’s called stock game folder instead. Some modlists will do that. If there isn’t a folder with the SKSE 64 loader in it, you will need to try to re-download and override the files to get any files you may have missed
So I don't have a "Game Folder Files". Trying to use the Living Skyrim 3 modlist but not having a good time trying to get it up and running (also can't download fast because Nexus Mods don't use the authentication process my bank demands so can't buy premium, took forever downloading everything).
Likely could be stock game folder. A lot of modlists changed over to that a few months after video was made. Check each folder to see if SKSE, ENB files, etc are in it. That’s what you are looking for. If you don’t have that, try to relaunch app, and run it again to get any missing files.
can you install other mods, with this one in particular installed? And hypothetically if i didnt like on of the pre-installed mods, could i delete them and replace them?
So, you could add mods if you know what you’re doing. You could delete some as well if you REALLY know what you’re doing. Would have to recreate the patches and go through everything to make sure it’s stable. Any edits you make by adding or altering in anyway automatically voids any support. I have someone in. My discord that added like 300 mods and made the patches and worked in xedit and such and hasn’t had any issues, but again, need to know what you’re doing and voids all support
After installing WabbaJack it says it has an unknown error. And it says to move my Wabbajack out of the downloads folder because that folder has alot of antivirus scans which makes WabbaJack work less or something. How come even after I moved it to a different drive every startup it just says unknown error and I can't do anything. Boy am I BUMMED OUT ITS ALWAYS SOMETHING!
Your best bet would be the discord. I know they have had some issues recently, and haven’t had time to keep up with it the past month or so.. if you take the error you’re getting and go to the Wabbajack discord they should be able to help there more effectively. I apologize
so my problem is that mod organizer simply freezes when i start the game from skse, i have modded skyrim manully before so im not new to this or anything but im so confused as to why it would simply freeze up when everything was installed correctly :/
Hmm… you copied the game folder files to your vanilla Skyrim folder? And you’re launching the MO2 from the same folder you got the game folder files? Depending on the list some have very specific things to do after download other than game folder files. May I ask what list your using?
in Quest modpack, how do i activate the map in the top of the screen and how do i make the game brighter? original options dont work and the game is so dark
If you’re using ENB, brightness needs to be tweaked in game according to ENB. The map in the top of the screen you can’t customize unfortunately, as it’s an in place minimap that I had added

@@user-me7iw6ft8z oh! The compass.. if you go into your MCM, go to immersive hud, and press that pressing button toggles hud (X by default) then you should be able to push X and it will show the compass and your hud. Is that what you mean?
Can you please tell me why when I download a modlist, it always stops to download a Mega file even though I already logged in and manually downloaded it to my file?
Some mods need to be downloaded manually and put in your downloads folder manually. Typically this will be in the read me as troublesome mods or something to that degree.
I don't get a games folder, it's not in "stock game" folder either....no clue 🤷♂️ I followed everything to the letter as well as being logged into Nexus and having a clean vanilla Skyrim with its own folders.... All mods downloaded but none auto extracted. Plenty of space. Absolutely flustered
Man, I’m sorry :/ the only thing I can think of would be to run it again and overwrite the folder. Could of not downloaded for some reason. Depending on the list you can check Wabbajacks discord for the list in particular, but every list should have a game folder of some Kind. Silly question, but have you checked every folder just to see if it’s labeled something different?
On steam? Confused by your question. If you need to move steam out of program files x86 you need to uninstall steam (at least it’s what I did) and when reinstalling, make a path like this (drive you want example would be like C drive and make a new folder path from that. Should just need to make the steam folder itself on your c drive and have it install in that folder. Note this will delete any save data you have on other games as well :/ that’s at least what I did. Hope this helps
Could be stock game folder as well. You shouldn’t have to copy past from there as they have it to where if it has that it should work without. Quite a bit happened since I made this video. May need to make another one. If you don’t have that, try reinstalling and overwrite your folder you made. May of not downloaded everything

Not sure which modlist you’re referring to, but all of my current Playthroughs I believe just use the experience mod and you level by killing enemies, doing quests and exploring
Im trying to download the elysium remastered mod pack and the issue im having is ill start downloading and wabbajack will stop responding shortly after the download starts. Then i restart it. Any way to make this not happen?
Do you need to have Nexus Premium in order for the mods to be automatically installed? So far Wabbajack has been prompting me to manually download each mod one at a time.
You don’t have to have premium, but it drastically reduces the download process and does it automatically for you as well. The way you see in the video with a premium account is just click and go. I haven’t done it manually personally, but with the auto downloads it takes an hour or two depending on the size. With that being said, it takes significantly longer to do manually, and can time out if you wait too long which requires a lot of restarting the application. If you can afford it, i strongly suggest getting a months worth for 5 dollars. If you can’t I understand, but undoubtedly makes the process a lot easier and faster. Best of luck!
@@PhyrexisGaming I just installed without premium. Took like 3-4 hours of clicking while watching youtube and had to go to bed and wake up to another hour of clicking. Keep in mind I would zone out sometimes and forget to click. Either way that was a hell of a grind but better than trying to add 950 mods my self.
Have you tried the Wabbajack discord? Easiest way for troubleshooting is searching the support channel for what you are experiencing. More times than not, it’s listed in a question where someone has responded. It’s worth getting it working, but on the same hand I’m not affiliated or associated with Wabbajack. Heck, my video isn’t even the linked tutorial any more lol. I try and help out of the goodness of my heart, but I’m not official support, and unfortunately don’t know why all the errors happen :(
Honestly, I haven’t tried but with AE dropping its probably gotten everything messed up. If a mod is “hidden” on nexus, it won’t download it and you will get an error. I would bet that a lot of modders are working on updating to the new script extender, and therefore aren’t available. Just my thoughts. If you haven’t already, check out the Wabbajack discord and the list you’re trying to download. They may have a work around, or mods to manually download there before you run it

So far only Auriels dream managed to work.but I want a graphics heavy mod in vr so ill try librum an see if that works🙄. I spent thousands of dollars on my cpu and gpu, memory, and storage ect for this.

I am trying to install a mod and for every file the Wabbajack is pausing, takes to nexus mod and makes me download thing manually. Is this how it goes?
By default yes. I think it’s 5 dollars (not even that I think) for a nexus premium account. With it, it will uncap your download speeds from 1mb and will automagically download for you without you having to download manually. It’s for sure worth it if you can spare it. Best of luck!
hey man trying to install wabbajack I've done it before but now when I try to launch wabbajack it's stuck in an infinite loading screen. Any tips? Ive deleted the local data file already and reinstalled and still nothing
I’m in the mod manager and sometimes it runs but most times it doesn’t . I’ve gotten everything installed as well so I’m not really sure what to do . Also when I do get it to run it is super zoomed in and I can’t really see anything . When I boot up regular Skyrim on steam it’s framed fine. I’d appreciate any help I could get been trying to get this to work all day.
Hmm.. it should. If you’re getting an error on a certain file, try checking and seeing first if it’s hidden on nexus. If so, it can’t download that file. Secondly, be sure to check the read me if you haven’t, as sometimes there are specifically mods that Wabbajack has trouble downloading, so you will need to manually download the mods listed (it gives links if so) and place them in your wabbjack downloads folder: Thirdly if the first two recommendations don’t work, check the Wabbajack discord and your modlist you’re trying to download and see if they have any pinned mods that you may be having trouble downloading. Lastly, as far as I know it should work for windows 7, but you might check the discord if all else fails. It’s hard to truly tell, as I haven’t tried to download a modlist since AE dropped, but with mod authors trying to update their mods to the lastest SKSE script after the update, it’s highly possible the mod is hidden while they work, which if it is cannot be downloaded. I hope this helps!
Check the read me for a link, it not there, check that modlists discord channel in the Wabbajack discord. A lot of times it’s a link to the download, as sometimes Wabbajack has a hard time installing certain mods or downloading. Once you have downloaded the file, place it in your downloads folder you made for the Wabbajack modlist. If the file as hidden then the installation process will fail every time, and there’s not anything you can do about that Unfortunately

@@MrHotguy034 you don’t need another hard drive. I’m not sure how Wabbajack works with games installed in program files 86. If possible you need to move it out of that path. You keep it on the same drive, it’s just a different folder path like shown in the video.
Unfortunately depending on what the mods or the list in particular, if it’s under maintenance the only thing to do is to wait. Usually it’s down due to mod being updated or hidden
That’s the first I personally have heard of this and haven’t a clue. Do you have a clean installation of Skyrim through steam? Installed outside of program files x86? @@colinhart4796 if you delete everything inside your Skyrim game folder EXCEPT Data folder, Skyrim folder, binkw64.dll, GPU, high, installscript.vdf, low, medium, Skyrim.ccc, Skyrim_default, SkyrimSE, SkyrimSELauncher, steam_api64.dll, and ultra that should be vanilla. Make sure all mods are removed from other managers so that your folder isn’t touched. Launch steam after fo verify integrity to recover any files just in game, and launch game to title screen
It should have an install path of where you install it when actually setting up the exe. If not, check program files x86, searching Wabbajack on your pc and opening file location, or if you have desktop icon (should be a program/exe technically, you can launch it that way from your start menu or find it that way
What modlist are you using? I would try redownloading the list overwriting the installation. Before you do that though, are there any mods in the downloads folder of the same main folder MO2 is in?
@@PhyrexisGaming yes the mod downloaded properly, I copied the game folder into the Skyrim folder, but I also added the enb I to the Skyrim folder. Could that be the issue?
@@giraffesofluffy8070 Hmm.. It shouldn't be as long as you dragged the contents of those folders and not the folders themselves. It could be that you MO2 is thinking it's a brand new instance if there is another installation. At this point I would hit up the wabbajack discord my friend! The devs should be able to help you with this issue :) I apologize as I wish I could help, but I haven't heard of this happening too often, nor how to fix it other than redownloading. I apologize!
@@PhyrexisGaming So I'm trying to download Elysium and it's failing to download a bunch of bsa and esm files. These are base and dlc game right? I assume it's assuming I've pirated the game maybe? It's also missing xLODGen.84 and Nemisis but I can get that last one myself as I've used it in the past. I have indeed restarted it a good few times, tried the workaround and lowering threads but no luck Thanks for the reply btw!
If you have updated Skyrim, you may try reverting back to previous version for the installation of Elysium. If it’s failing to get the meshes, textures, and voices for base Skyrim and the esms

i am so late to this video, i followed all of the steps to the bone and whenever a modlist is done installing, im not having a "game file folder" inside of the modlist folder. anyone know a solution for this?
Yes i have done that like 30 times now , and its actually not the main prob either... im always getting stuck at the end of the main list download with 3-4 mods that just wont ever finish... its my third try now 🥵 I have nexus premium too btw

That’s a good question… I’m honestly not sure. As long as it’s a legal copy it should work, but not sure.. I would check the Wabbajack discord if you haven’t. Sorry, I haven’t gotten that question and I’m not familiar!
SMEFT is only really if you want the basic bug fixes before making your own list, and downloading mods to that list. All the other lists are already curated to be ready to go out of the box, other than copying the game file folder to your base game folder. A list will never have two lists in one. I hope that makes sense

Haven’t seen that yet, but should be able to just look up the download it’s asking for, download it, and place in the downloads folder where you store your mods for the list and restart Wabbajack and it should work!
im getting qwest, and i wanna have steam acevemnts active, but im pretty sure steam overlays will completely ruin some of the mods *as it tends to do* but anyways excited to play my 80th modded time in Skyrim.
As far as I know, modding Skyrim automatically makes it where you cannot unlock achievements in Skyrim. There is a mod funnily enough I believe, that enables them again, but I’m not personally sure with the steam overlays but happy modding!!

No issues. It does help run a little smoother if modlist is on same drive as Skyrim, but I have my steam games on one drive and Wabbajack modlists on another and have no issues
Hi, I've got an issue when installing it gets to skyrim se particle patch and is unable to download? It worked fine the other week but today with each preset it fails on the particle path . Anyone had any issues lately? Many thanks.
My guess is it has been updated and doesn’t match up with that version to download. That or the file is hidden. Depending on the modlist you’re downloading hit up the discord in Wabbajack, that will be the best place to look. Alternative would be to try to exit the application and relaunch, or download manually the version it’s looking for and place in the downloads folder that Wabbajack created. Best bet is discord though if none of that works
What if my modpack didn't install the Game Folder Files?? Should I try reinstalling the entire modpack? I keep getting "couldnt find skyrimSE.exe" every time I try to launch.

hey man im trying to run the ultimate vr essentials list on mod organizer, but whenever i click run, the main menu opens extremely laggy and crashes a few seconds later. i have a pretty good pc so i know thats not the issue but i was wondering if you know what is?
I haven’t had that happen to me personally. I’ve never used VR, is I don’t think that My PC could run it, so I don’t have the gear. Nothing else is running that would hog resources from the VR gear right? Have you tried restarting your pc? Try redownloading the modlist, it may have missed something. Lastly, I would try the discord for your modlist support. I apologize, I don’t have much experience with VR lists
I’m sorry man, I don’t know what would be causing it other than maybe a missing file. If it wasn’t missing file though, I figured that it would actually just not lunch. Did you read the read me for post Installation instructions? Each modlist is different, and some have some sets that you must do after the fact of installing. If you have I would hit up the Discord, as they have specific support for the modlist
I don’t think so. There’s not a way to move your Skyrim out of the steam folder or the installation of of steam and where the games go to two separate areas I don’t think. I could be wrong, but I honestly wouldn’t know how to do that if so. Sorry!
Try redownloading the list! Sometimes the download process can get stuck, or not get all the files. I would hit up the Wabbajack discord before you do though!

There are loose files like SKSE64 and things of that nature. Nothing should be archived that I’m aware of. I would hit up the discord my friend, as I haven’t heard of that happening.. I’m sorry :/ wish I had a fix. What modlist is it that you’re trying to download?

You could copy the files from stock game folder and paste to your Skyrim game folder. Then from there should be able to launch the Mod Organizer in the modlist folder you installed and launch from there after you read the read me and after installation instructions for the list if anything.
I would back up your game folder before you do. But should be safe to do So. Did you read the read me? Like the Instructions once the installation is complete

Have you checked the discord for Elysium? It’s a derivative off the Wabbajack Discord. Sometimes they will have you download a pinned mod and put it in the downloads folder, if not unfortunately you will have to wait for Titansbane to update the list. I would check the discord first though, as I seem to recall there is a pinned download or link to the mod to manually download, and drop it in the Elysium downloads folder. I would check there first though

Hmm.. could be it didn’t download properly. Try deleting the mod it’s failing to recognize and relaunching Wabbajack and redownloading the list. You shouldn’t lose progress, as the other mods are there. That will give it a chance to redownload the mod In question if it is TUDM
Ty for this guide but I was wondering if it would be possible to add new mods in addition to the modlist that I downloaded. I know it is not a good idea because the modlist is already huge and adding new mods would stop some mods from working. But are there exceptions? Are mods ok that don't add big changes? For example a new armor set, a new follower or a new soundtrack.
I myself have added some mods on top of it, HOWEVER it does void any support if you break it or run into issues. For me I’ve added stuff that doesn’t touch other things that are altered or has it’s own custom script. It’s up to you and best is just to test and check if it’s overwriting everything and don’t go crazy 😂 I’ve added new armor sets in my play throughs though. End of the day you always run a risk of breaking by added mods and it’s best to just leave it be, but to each their own, but again you will void support if you add mods yourself on top of the modlist. @@Lyzarion are you talking about the downloads folder in the custom game folder you made? You should be able to delete the downloads out of that folder, although can save some heartache for updates download the line having to redownload it. As for MO2 it’s pretty easy once you get used to it. I used to use NMM and Vortex too, and I’m sold on MO2. So much better in organizing and modding in general

It works the same way for non premium, it will just take you back and forth from nexus to download the mods manually. Unfortunately I’m unable to make a non premium version as I have the lifetime premium. It should work the same for non premium though :)
Quick question sir. I stumble upon a mod pack I am more prefer. Is called The Visual Overhaul mod. Becauae TVO does not add any combat mechanic,quest,follower or any enemies in the mod pack . So can I add my own mod after i finish downloading TVO
I would assume so, yes! Double check with the Wabbajack discord, because if you break the modlist by adding mods they more then likely won’t help, but for my horror play through series I used a utility modlist that makes the game stable and added about 300 mods on top of it to make my own “modlist” I would think as long as you don’t add anything that edits visuals then you should be good to go, but again, check and join the discord first to make sure. @@PhyrexisGaming I am indeed inside the discord. May I also ask for example I downloaded TVO..and maybe there are a couple of mods inside TVO that I am not quite flavour. Example RuDy Enb is included in the TVO mod pack. Because is it all these mod are install In MO2. So lets say in MO2 i don like the rudy enb that are included. I can just un-tick the box on the left side. And add my own enb with it ? Possible right ?

all i get is install failed every single time? Copied your steps and other peoples and still nothing is working? Its a clean legit skyrim folder bought through steam. Frustrating the hell out of me the fact i was over 2 hours for an install that gets to the last steps and fails n no matter how many types i close and reopen wabbajack to retry it always fails it makes no sense to me
Same issue, this app is absolute trash. Just download mod organizer 2 and download the mods yourself
I'm glad this thing exists, I tried to download a mod list of like 500 mods from a showcase and it was hell as the mods have conflicts you have to sort out and I had no idea how to set them correctly and keep running into problems.
Now I'll just download a whole set from Phoenix.

Hey, I'm one of the admins for Wabbajack. Just wanted to say thanks for this extremely informative video. A few observations:
You don't need to manually create the Downloads folder. That path will autofill when you select the installation path (assuming you haven't touched the downloads path field), and Wabbajack will create the folder for you.
That Noir readme screenshot was mildly ridiculous, I'm gonna see about changing that one...
Other than that, very well done. I'm going to talk to the other admins and see about making a command that pulls up a link to this video so we can use it as a sort of official tutorial. Thanks again!

I think imma have to uninstall my steam app and download it outside of x86 but luckily I only have 2 games installed on steam so it won't be too much of a headache. One question I had is does it affect anything if the files are located on 2 separate drives? I normally have my steam application on the C drive and all my games on the D drive
@@ItsJsik it’s recommended to have both on the same drive, BUT I personally have my Wabbajack lists on one drive, and my steam and games on another :)

Simple, took forever to download the wabbajack modlist but its done.

It could be a failed download. Try to edit it of Wabbajack and relaunch. A few different factors go in. Your best bet is to join the Wabbajack discord. They offer support there that should sort things out. Best of luck!
Sorry to bother you man, but I spent all weekend following videos including this one and the instructions in wabbajack to try and install the Phoenix Flavour Dragon's Edition but everytime after it takes all that time to download i get an "installation failed". I read somewhere online that there may be a patch or something I have to download manually but nowhere can I find instructions or advice on how to do this. Would you happen to have any advice, tips, guide or something that would allow an extreme newbie like myself to be able to install this? Does the Phoenix Flavour have to be installed first before the Dragon's edition can be? I'm not a total idiot, but brand new to PC gaming and zero experience with modding. Thanks!
Hey there! You shouldn’t need Phoenix flavor to install dragons edition. Have you checked the pinned messages on the discord? Sometimes they will have a link there for a mod or two that Wabbajack has difficulty downloading, or a site that isn’t nexus mods. It could be possible that the download is hidden, removed, or has been updated. If that’s the case, unfortunately there’s nothing you can do but wait. I would try the discord first though :)
@@PhyrexisGaming I'm having the same issue, installation failed after the download and then the mod folder has nothing but 7z and .rar files without any of the folders or executables shown in the video. I tried redoing it all without antivirus on as well with no luck. There do seem to be several files that aren't able to be downloaded and I'm not totally sure why. I've followed all of your instructions very carefully on your installation guide and keep coming to the same result which is a failed installation.
@@hronk hey there! I would try rerunning if you haven’t already. Are you saying you gave the downloaded files (mods) but you don’t have any of the other folders? It’s possible that it missed the other assets, and rerunning wabbjack to overwrite installation and picking the folder that you created for the modlist should fix it. If not, hit up the Wabbajack discord, (it’s in description) and they should be able to help guide you depending on what list you’re trying to install
I installed a modlist, but none of the mods are showing up in MO2. I put all the files needed into the skyrim SE steam directory.
Might try rerunning Wabbajack. There will be a downloads folder that it accessed and installed from. It likely is missing files. Worse case, hit up the discord if that doesn’t work for support for the modlist. It may be having an issue
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I keep getting an error that it can’t find skse64_loader.exe does not exist 😒😩. I downloaded the Elysium Remastered (took almost 24hrs for 500gb file) I followed the install instructions to install Root…but I still don’t truly know what I’m doing…I may just give up and play regular…this is like my 5th time trying to use mod2 with Loot and Fnis and skse etc…I’m pretty worn out mentally at this stage 😔
May just go the dry and dirty route through vortex and just get a few visual mods 🤷🏽♀️
Man… I’m sorry to hear the trouble. I truly get modding fatigue, I truly do. If you’ve already downloaded the file and just won’t launch, you could try copying the stock game folder files to the base game folder files. Make sure it’s actually there. Or, if it’s not there and it’s just the skse files, you could always manually drag the files (get it from silver lock I think? Been a while)
If I were you though, I would join the Wabbajack discord. The link is in the description. Once there, I would find the Elysium modlist, and search in the text (top right of screen on discord) that very error or key wording. It likely is a simple fix for what you’re experiencing.
IF your pc can run it, I can promise you the wait and effort are truly worth it my friend. Again, I would take an hour or so and just step away and do something else, play another game, etc. I wish you the best of luck, I truly do.

Could be called stock game folder or stock folder. It will have SKSE and game folder files in it

Is it a legal copy? If so may try uninstalling and reinstalling and removing any altered files. It should let you verify files, it doesn’t require you to launch the game exe to check for it to my knowledge

Best bet would be clean install. I would install outside of program files x86 if you haven’t. Note this will wipe the rest of games installed, and saves if you do this. I can’t speak for if SKSE count as altered, but if it’s not in the base game folder, then would be considered altered.

Might try redownloading to see if any files were missed. Some of the modlists now have game stock folder, or stock folder instead of what’s in video. If that doesn’t work, for sure hit up the discord for support, as they will be able to help more than I can with my current schedule.
My download for WABBAJACK failed. It says failed to access path could not find a part of the path… please help
You could try moving the Wabbajack path to a different folder. Example C drive / Wabbajack folder / Wabbajack exe
this is probably a dumb question but does this work with fallout new vegas? i know you mentioned it should work with every game but the files are a lot different since im installing viva new vegas and i wanna be 100% sure im doing things right since i've been trying to remod new vegas the past few days lol

I wouldn’t update the mods manually. That’s up to you, but likely would need more patches, best just to wait for the modlist author to update the mods in the next update
I have a weird issue. I downloaded LS2 and installed a fresh copy of Skyrim SE, I run MO2 and change the path to point to my game folder which is C://SteamLibrary ect
MO2 recognizes that and it shows correct in the settings. But when I hit Launch it gives me an error saying : skse in D://Steam bla bla does not exist.. My game is not in D and I changed the path to where it is, but MO2 still points to the wrong path and I have no idea why that is or how to change it/fix it..

Hey dumb question but how do I install the ENB I followed the mod authors guide but it won't load in?
Make sure you have the enb series files. If the enb comes with the modlist you just drag and drop files in your game directory with SKSEloader. Then you just launch the game. Top left screen should have text pop up if done correctly

Hi, where do you copy and paste the other builds to? I have managed get the Kiezaal build up and running and was wondering if I wanted (for example) the NOIR build would it be the exact same process? So when you are wanting to run more then one modlist, simply delete the game folder files that you added to your Skyrim directory from the previous modlist installed (example would be like NOIR) Then copy the game files from the new modlist (example Elysium) that you’re wanting to use and paste to Skyrim directory and launch that mod organizer through the Elysium folder. It’s that easy. Just rinse and repeat :) personally, I use the utility list and build themed modlists (My Interesting NPCs play though for an example) hope this makes sense!

Do wabbajack need to be in the same drive as the mod list? let's say i installed wabbajack in C drive can i download for example Elysium and put it in D drive ?
You should be able to yes. As far as I know, Wabbajack can set the path even from a different drive when you go to install the modlist. I only have one drive currently, so I haven’t tested it myself, but you should be able to do two different drives without issue
i'm having touble downloading the Elysium and Don't Go Gentle packs, keep getting failed when downloading both of those.
Does it say unable to download something? Could be a that a file is hidden

@@elrosith88 if it isn’t in the discord it likely is set to hidden. Unfortunately most modlists share the same main mods so it’s likely they won’t download. The good news is once the mod is set from hidden to seen, you can rerun the launcher and it will pick up where it left off. You may try to re run it, and if that doesn’t work then check out the Wabbajack discord and your list you’re trying to download and see if there is a pinned message about a certain mod that wont down load that’s on another site.
It says "Could not locate Morrowind" every time, and that's it, cannot fix it no matter what i do, and there is no info online about this whatsoever.
Do you own a legal copy through steam? Is it outside of program files x86? I honestly haven’t tried installing a morrowind modlist. Have you tried the discord support for that modlist? Might be the best bet
When I run the installation of MOISE which is for Morrowind, the slides continue through each mod but my download folder stays empty. After this I realized it says in the terminal kind of part "Could not locate Morrowind" . Do I have to somehow tell Wabbajack where the game is?
I’m honestly not too sure. I mean, as long as it’s a copy on steam on the same drive as the rest I would think it would automatically locate it, however I haven’t tried that myself.

The information at 3:20 is not OK. Wabbajack downloads a standalone executable. It's not a traditional installer. If you want it to run from the "wabbajack mod installer" folder, you need to place the downloaded file there. The way you described it will run wabbajack from the download folder, and it will create a bunch of files in your download folder for the current version that it downloads at runtime. This works fine, but it will clutter up your download folder with wabbajack stuff you might accidentally delete someday.
I apologize, and you are correct. It honestly had been a minute before I had Installed it manually and so I am mistaken on that. You do need to install it out other downloads folder and end of the custom folder that you created.

It won’t be in mod organizer.. it should he in the game folder directory or stock game folder. Should just be click and go. If not, try redownloading and last ditch check the discord for that modlist.

I haven’t personally, no. Have you tried the Wabbajack discord? They likely can help you there. I’m sorry, not familiar with that in particular
so what happens if everything is working great but there is no game files folder. i downloaded wildlander dont know if that changes anything.
Check for “Stock Game” folder! It’s the same thing. I don’t believe you need to copy the files over anymore. It has its own cloud in the folder it launches off of. You do need to move the enb files I believe though if you want to enb.
If you don’t have that, try re running Wabbajack and overwrite the install folder. It shouldn’t take long, and will fetch any missing files or folders.

What’s your error message? Need a little more to go off of than that. Did you create a folder for the modlist to set to? Example create your folder for modlist, launch Wabbajack and select the modlist you want, set the path to the folder you made and it should automatically create either a downloads folder within the folder you set it to, or you can create a downloads folder elsewhere if you want your mods all together so it can access them. Also he sure to sign in to nexus with your account. Lastly, if you don’t have premium, you have to download every mod manually as it takes you one by one.
Hopefully this helps. Best bet is to hit up the Wabbajack discord in description and join. From there, find your modlist and they can support there better than I can, best of luck!

Two separate modlists together? No. You can add mods to the modlist, but forfeit all support for any changes made if troubleshooting or need for support occurs

It could be stock game folder instead. It will have the skse launcher exe In it. When this was first made, the stock folder wasn’t really a thing yet
why is "game folder files" the only folder missing when its done installing? Please help
If I had to guess, if it’s a Aldrnari it’s called stock game folder instead. Some modlists will do that. If there isn’t a folder with the SKSE 64 loader in it, you will need to try to re-download and override the files to get any files you may have missed
So I don't have a "Game Folder Files".
Trying to use the Living Skyrim 3 modlist but not having a good time trying to get it up and running (also can't download fast because Nexus Mods don't use the authentication process my bank demands so can't buy premium, took forever downloading everything).
Likely could be stock game folder. A lot of modlists changed over to that a few months after video was made. Check each folder to see if SKSE, ENB files, etc are in it. That’s what you are looking for. If you don’t have that, try to relaunch app, and run it again to get any missing files.
can you install other mods, with this one in particular installed? And hypothetically if i didnt like on of the pre-installed mods, could i delete them and replace them?
So, you could add mods if you know what you’re doing. You could delete some as well if you REALLY know what you’re doing. Would have to recreate the patches and go through everything to make sure it’s stable. Any edits you make by adding or altering in anyway automatically voids any support. I have someone in. My discord that added like 300 mods and made the patches and worked in xedit and such and hasn’t had any issues, but again, need to know what you’re doing and voids all support
After installing WabbaJack it says it has an unknown error. And it says to move my Wabbajack out of the downloads folder because that folder has alot of antivirus scans which makes WabbaJack work less or something. How come even after I moved it to a different drive every startup it just says unknown error and I can't do anything. Boy am I BUMMED OUT ITS ALWAYS SOMETHING!
Your best bet would be the discord. I know they have had some issues recently, and haven’t had time to keep up with it the past month or so.. if you take the error you’re getting and go to the Wabbajack discord they should be able to help there more effectively. I apologize
so my problem is that mod organizer simply freezes when i start the game from skse, i have modded skyrim manully before so im not new to this or anything but im so confused as to why it would simply freeze up when everything was installed correctly :/
Hmm… you copied the game folder files to your vanilla Skyrim folder? And you’re launching the MO2 from the same folder you got the game folder files? Depending on the list some have very specific things to do after download other than game folder files. May I ask what list your using?
in Quest modpack, how do i activate the map in the top of the screen and how do i make the game brighter? original options dont work and the game is so dark
If you’re using ENB, brightness needs to be tweaked in game according to ENB. The map in the top of the screen you can’t customize unfortunately, as it’s an in place minimap that I had added

@@user-me7iw6ft8z oh! The compass.. if you go into your MCM, go to immersive hud, and press that pressing button toggles hud (X by default) then you should be able to push X and it will show the compass and your hud. Is that what you mean?
Can you please tell me why when I download a modlist, it always stops to download a Mega file even though I already logged in and manually downloaded it to my file?
Some mods need to be downloaded manually and put in your downloads folder manually. Typically this will be in the read me as troublesome mods or something to that degree.
I don't get a games folder, it's not in "stock game" folder either....no clue 🤷♂️
I followed everything to the letter as well as being logged into Nexus and having a clean vanilla Skyrim with its own folders....
All mods downloaded but none auto extracted. Plenty of space.

Man, I’m sorry :/ the only thing I can think of would be to run it again and overwrite the folder. Could of not downloaded for some reason. Depending on the list you can check Wabbajacks discord for the list in particular, but every list should have a game folder of some Kind.

How do I install Skyrim into a separate folder ?
On steam? Confused by your question. If you need to move steam out of program files x86 you need to uninstall steam (at least it’s what I did) and when reinstalling, make a path like this (drive you want example would be like C drive and make a new folder path from that. Should just need to make the steam folder itself on your c drive and have it install in that folder. Note this will delete any save data you have on other games as well :/ that’s at least what I did. Hope this helps

May need to make another one. If you don’t have that, try reinstalling and overwrite your folder you made. May of not downloaded everything

Im trying to download the elysium remastered mod pack and the issue im having is ill start downloading and wabbajack will stop responding shortly after the download starts. Then i restart it. Any way to make this not happen?
It could be anything honestly.. does it start downloading anything at all? Or does it crash before it starts downloading anything?
Do you need to have Nexus Premium in order for the mods to be automatically installed? So far Wabbajack has been prompting me to manually download each mod one at a time.
You don’t have to have premium, but it drastically reduces the download process and does it automatically for you as well. The way you see in the video with a premium account is just click and go. I haven’t done it manually personally, but with the auto downloads it takes an hour or two depending on the size. With that being said, it takes significantly longer to do manually, and can time out if you wait too long which requires a lot of restarting the application.
If you can afford it, i strongly suggest getting a months worth for 5 dollars. If you can’t I understand, but undoubtedly makes the process a lot easier and faster. Best of luck!

@@PhyrexisGaming I just installed without premium. Took like 3-4 hours of clicking while watching youtube and had to go to bed and wake up to another hour of clicking. Keep in mind I would zone out sometimes and forget to click. Either way that was a hell of a grind but better than trying to add 950 mods my self.

Have you tried the Wabbajack discord? Easiest way for troubleshooting is searching the support channel for what you are experiencing. More times than not, it’s listed in a question where someone has responded.
It’s worth getting it working, but on the same hand I’m not affiliated or associated with Wabbajack. Heck, my video isn’t even the linked tutorial any more lol. I try and help out of the goodness of my heart, but I’m not official support, and unfortunately don’t know why all the errors happen :(

Honestly, I haven’t tried but with AE dropping its probably gotten everything messed up. If a mod is “hidden” on nexus, it won’t download it and you will get an error. I would bet that a lot of modders are working on updating to the new script extender, and therefore aren’t available. Just my thoughts. If you haven’t already, check out the Wabbajack discord and the list you’re trying to download. They may have a work around, or mods to manually download there before you run it

By default yes. I think it’s 5 dollars (not even that I think) for a nexus premium account. With it, it will uncap your download speeds from 1mb and will automagically download for you without you having to download manually.

I’m in the mod manager and sometimes it runs but most times it doesn’t . I’ve gotten everything installed as well so I’m not really sure what to do . Also when I do get it to run it is super zoomed in and I can’t really see anything . When I boot up regular Skyrim on steam it’s framed fine. I’d appreciate any help I could get been trying to get this to work all day.

Hmm.. it should. If you’re getting an error on a certain file, try checking and seeing first if it’s hidden on nexus. If so, it can’t download that file. Secondly, be sure to check the read me if you haven’t, as sometimes there are specifically mods that Wabbajack has trouble downloading, so you will need to manually download the mods listed (it gives links if so) and place them in your wabbjack downloads folder: Thirdly if the first two recommendations don’t work, check the Wabbajack discord and your modlist you’re trying to download and see if they have any pinned mods that you may be having trouble downloading.
Lastly, as far as I know it should work for windows 7, but you might check the discord if all else fails. It’s hard to truly tell, as I haven’t tried to download a modlist since AE dropped, but with mod authors trying to update their mods to the lastest SKSE script after the update, it’s highly possible the mod is hidden while they work, which if it is cannot be downloaded. I hope this helps!

Check the read me for a link, it not there, check that modlists discord channel in the Wabbajack discord. A lot of times it’s a link to the download, as sometimes Wabbajack has a hard time installing certain mods or downloading. Once you have downloaded the file, place it in your downloads folder you made for the Wabbajack modlist. If the file as hidden then the installation process will fail every time, and there’s not anything you can do about that Unfortunately

@@MrHotguy034 you don’t need another hard drive. I’m not sure how Wabbajack works with games installed in program files 86. If possible you need to move it out of that path. You keep it on the same drive, it’s just a different folder path like shown in the video.
The only oblivion modpack is under maintenance how do you do them through disk
Unfortunately depending on what the mods or the list in particular, if it’s under maintenance the only thing to do is to wait. Usually it’s down due to mod being updated or hidden

If you get the same error, not all of the game folder files are copied into your game directory.

@@colinhart4796 if you delete everything inside your Skyrim game folder EXCEPT Data folder, Skyrim folder, binkw64.dll, GPU, high, installscript.vdf, low, medium, Skyrim.ccc, Skyrim_default, SkyrimSE, SkyrimSELauncher, steam_api64.dll, and ultra that should be vanilla. Make sure all mods are removed from other managers so that your folder isn’t touched.
Launch steam after fo verify integrity to recover any files just in game, and launch game to title screen
I can´t find where wabbjack installs itself. I doesn't even ask for a location or anything.
It should have an install path of where you install it when actually setting up the exe. If not, check program files x86, searching Wabbajack on your pc and opening file location, or if you have desktop icon (should be a program/exe technically, you can launch it that way from your start menu or find it that way

It could be that you MO2 is thinking it's a brand new instance if there is another installation. At this point I would hit up the wabbajack discord my friend! The devs should be able to help you with this issue :) I apologize as I wish I could help, but I haven't heard of this happening too often, nor how to fix it other than redownloading. I apologize!

@@PhyrexisGaming So I'm trying to download Elysium and it's failing to download a bunch of bsa and esm files. These are base and dlc game right? I assume it's assuming I've pirated the game maybe? It's also missing xLODGen.84 and Nemisis but I can get that last one myself as I've used it in the past. I have indeed restarted it a good few times, tried the workaround and lowering threads but no luck

If you have updated Skyrim, you may try reverting back to previous version for the installation of Elysium. If it’s failing to get the meshes, textures, and voices for base Skyrim and the esms

Yes i have done that like 30 times now , and its actually not the main prob either... im always getting stuck at the end of the main list download with 3-4 mods that just wont ever finish...

SMEFT is only really if you want the basic bug fixes before making your own list, and downloading mods to that list. All the other lists are already curated to be ready to go out of the box, other than copying the game file folder to your base game folder. A list will never have two lists in one. I hope that makes sense

Haven’t seen that yet, but should be able to just look up the download it’s asking for, download it, and place in the downloads folder where you store your mods for the list and restart Wabbajack and it should work!

im getting qwest, and i wanna have steam acevemnts active, but im pretty sure steam overlays will completely ruin some of the mods *as it tends to do* but anyways excited to play my 80th modded time in Skyrim.
As far as I know, modding Skyrim automatically makes it where you cannot unlock achievements in Skyrim. There is a mod funnily enough I believe, that enables them again, but I’m not personally sure with the steam overlays but happy modding!!

No issues. It does help run a little smoother if modlist is on same drive as Skyrim, but I have my steam games on one drive and Wabbajack modlists on another and have no issues

Hi, I've got an issue when installing it gets to skyrim se particle patch and is unable to download? It worked fine the other week but today with each preset it fails on the particle path . Anyone had any issues lately? Many thanks.
My guess is it has been updated and doesn’t match up with that version to download. That or the file is hidden. Depending on the modlist you’re downloading hit up the discord in Wabbajack, that will be the best place to look. Alternative would be to try to exit the application and relaunch, or download manually the version it’s looking for and place in the downloads folder that Wabbajack created. Best bet is discord though if none of that works
What if my modpack didn't install the Game Folder Files?? Should I try reinstalling the entire modpack? I keep getting "couldnt find skyrimSE.exe" every time I try to launch.
Anymore it’s stock folder. Should be able to run the mo2 from that folder. Quite a bit changed after this video was made, but still should work

hey man im trying to run the ultimate vr essentials list on mod organizer, but whenever i click run, the main menu opens extremely laggy and crashes a few seconds later. i have a pretty good pc so i know thats not the issue but i was wondering if you know what is?
I haven’t had that happen to me personally. I’ve never used VR, is I don’t think that My PC could run it, so I don’t have the gear. Nothing else is running that would hog resources from the VR gear right? Have you tried restarting your pc? Try redownloading the modlist, it may have missed something. Lastly, I would try the discord for your modlist support. I apologize, I don’t have much experience with VR lists

I’m sorry man, I don’t know what would be causing it other than maybe a missing file. If it wasn’t missing file though, I figured that it would actually just not lunch. Did you read the read me for post Installation instructions? Each modlist is different, and some have some sets that you must do after the fact of installing. If you have I would hit up the Discord, as they have specific support for the modlist

Do I have to move my entire steam folder with all my games outside of program files 86, or can i just move skyrim out of it?
I don’t think so. There’s not a way to move your Skyrim out of the steam folder or the installation of of steam and where the games go to two separate areas I don’t think. I could be wrong, but I honestly wouldn’t know how to do that if so. Sorry!

Try redownloading the list! Sometimes the download process can get stuck, or not get all the files. I would hit up the Wabbajack discord before you do though!
@@PhyrexisGaming there are some non archive file on my wabbajack mod download folder ,should these files be there or only rar/zip files type should be on the download folder ?
There are loose files like SKSE64 and things of that nature. Nothing should be archived that I’m aware of. I would hit up the discord my friend, as I haven’t heard of that happening.. I’m sorry :/ wish I had a fix. What modlist is it that you’re trying to download?

Stock game folder instead? Newer modlists are a little different, but same folder that has skse64 files

You could copy the files from stock game folder and paste to your Skyrim game folder. Then from there should be able to launch the Mod Organizer in the modlist folder you installed and launch from there after you read the read me and after installation instructions for the list if anything.

I would back up your game folder before you do. But should be safe to do So. Did you read the read me? Like the Instructions once the installation is complete

it says im unable to download one or more archives for TUDM Ultimate Dodge. im wondering if there is a way to disable a mod for this list or if there is a way around this. the mod list im trying to play is elysium
Have you checked the discord for Elysium? It’s a derivative off the Wabbajack Discord. Sometimes they will have you download a pinned mod and put it in the downloads folder, if not unfortunately you will have to wait for Titansbane to update the list. I would check the discord first though, as I seem to recall there is a pinned download or link to the mod to manually download, and drop it in the Elysium downloads folder. I would check there first though
@@PhyrexisGaming if I go into my downloaded mods folder for Elysium I can locate the mod but I still get the error. I’ll join the discord server and see if I can replace the mods or if there have been similar issues.

Hmm.. could be it didn’t download properly. Try deleting the mod it’s failing to recognize and relaunching Wabbajack and redownloading the list. You shouldn’t lose progress, as the other mods are there. That will give it a chance to redownload the mod In question if it is TUDM
Does anyone know why the Skyrim Legendary Edition is missing?
Pretty sure the modlists for it stopped support for it and they pulled it. Wilder lander is the SE version of the legacy editions ultimate Skyrim
Ty for this guide but I was wondering if it would be possible to add new mods in addition to the modlist that I downloaded. I know it is not a good idea because the modlist is already huge and adding new mods would stop some mods from working. But are there exceptions? Are mods ok that don't add big changes? For example a new armor set, a new follower or a new soundtrack.
I myself have added some mods on top of it, HOWEVER it does void any support if you break it or run into issues. For me I’ve added stuff that doesn’t touch other things that are altered or has it’s own custom script. It’s up to you and best is just to test and check if it’s overwriting everything and don’t go crazy 😂 I’ve added new armor sets in my play throughs though.
End of the day you always run a risk of breaking by added mods and it’s best to just leave it be, but to each their own, but again you will void support if you add mods yourself on top of the modlist.

@@Lyzarion are you talking about the downloads folder in the custom game folder you made? You should be able to delete the downloads out of that folder, although can save some heartache for updates download the line having to redownload it.
As for MO2 it’s pretty easy once you get used to it. I used to use NMM and Vortex too, and I’m sold on MO2. So much better in organizing and modding in general

It works the same way for non premium, it will just take you back and forth from nexus to download the mods manually. Unfortunately I’m unable to make a non premium version as I have the lifetime premium. It should work the same for non premium though :)

Quick question sir. I stumble upon a mod pack I am more prefer. Is called The Visual Overhaul mod. Becauae TVO does not add any combat mechanic,quest,follower or any enemies in the mod pack . So can I add my own mod after i finish downloading TVO
I would assume so, yes! Double check with the Wabbajack discord, because if you break the modlist by adding mods they more then likely won’t help, but for my horror play through series I used a utility modlist that makes the game stable and added about 300 mods on top of it to make my own “modlist” I would think as long as you don’t add anything that edits visuals then you should be good to go, but again, check and join the discord first to make sure.

@@PhyrexisGaming I am indeed inside the discord. May I also ask for example I downloaded TVO..and maybe there are a couple of mods inside TVO that I am not quite flavour. Example RuDy Enb is included in the TVO mod pack. Because is it all these mod are install In MO2. So lets say in MO2 i don like the rudy enb that are included. I can just un-tick the box on the left side. And add my own enb with it ? Possible right ?

I just don’t want to give advice on something that I personally haven’t tried, but again just ask in discord and they should be able to guide you :)
