Tobacco flowers, and the old goat is on the middle shelf behind Sheila, on the small red potato pile :) Love the show! I've been binge-watching all your previous episodes! Thank you for all you do!
Thank you for doing the taste testing on the tomatoes. A lot of great information. It takes so much time and care of tomatoes so you want great flavor from them all. 👩🌾
Oh my Gosh, I am so hungry for some good sweet corn. You were making my mouth water eating that beautiful looking sweet corn. Those flowers in the vase look like "Nicotiana" I used to grow them all the time in my beds, they are a very pretty flower. I see the Old goat hiding behind that pile of potatoes. :) Love your show and I especially liked the tomato testing....Ive got some new varieties I need to try now.
I absolutely LOVE your tasting videos! Great content about MATOES! I am educated every time! I come from a farming family, never knew about determinate or indeterminate tomatoes or all the different varieties. You BOTH are amazing at growing, tasting and educating us as well as ENTERTAINING US, with gardening facts. God Bless you and your family! I haven't a clue about the flowers, so I'll tune in next time to learn! Coming from way up north near Canada, we never grew tobacco, so IF Carolina Hennig below is correct I will learn again!
I do not like fresh tomatoes but my wife absolutely loves them. She’s willing to try any and all tomatoes she can and always searching for the best tasting tomato. She has many varieties growing including the Hossinator this year and has done exceptionally well. We both love watching your videos and we both love your seeds. Everything has done great this year. PS…goat is behind Sheila in the potatoes. Have a good day!
Thanks, Greg and Shelia. You guys re the best. Love your shows. The flower is Hopi tobacco, and looks like the old goat is behind Shelia on the red potatoes. Keep up the great work.
Beautiful tobacco flowers. Y’all are making my mouth water for fresh tomatoes-can’t wait for mine to get ripe. Old Goat is behind Mama Hoss sitting in a pile of potatoes.
I watched EVERY row by row show ever made, and nothing makes me laugh more than watching Greg eat those watermelons! I remember him saying he could eat 2 or even 3 in day, which just seems crazy. Anyway Hoss, you and those watermelons keep me laughing!
Old Goat is hiding in the potatoes next to the Faith Family Freedom sign. Really enjoyed the tomato tasting! We grew Hoss Brandywine Pink and Cherokee purple and my husband loves them both. We also grew San Marzano and white cherry which are my favorite.
The old goat is on top of the potato stack behind Mrs. Hoss. I'm glad to hear the good review on Brad's Atomic Grape. First time with a large garden and these were the first grape tomatoes to develop. They are doing great with several clusters on 2 plants. I wasn't sure how to know when they are ripe but now I do. Thanks for the great info on all the tomatoes tested tonight! Really enjoyed it.
Tobacco flowers, Nicotiana Tabacum. So cool to use flowers in a display that come from the tobacco plant. They are beautiful!! As always, I love the show and look forward to the next one. Happy Father's Day Greg!!
Always enjoy a good tomato testing! Those are the tobacco flowers that you showed in your last video. The old goat is hiding out in the red potatoes on the shelf.
We grew red snapper last year after Hoss recommended, we'll never be without it! (surprised at the flavor rating, we love it!) Over half of our determinates are that variety. We're also growing lemon boy again for the first time in many, many years & it's definitely been a show out for productivity.
Great show this week…I have been growing several of the Wild Boar Farms tomatoes for years. I really like the crushed heart along with many that y’all have featured - this year I am trying the Blue & Gold along with Janet’s Jicinthe Jewel (an orange type)
Nothing can compete with the great time my wife had today (Fathers Day) with the grands , and wife and I cooking a squash casserole from today's harvest ....but slicing that very first red Hossenator tomato from our garden today is very close!! These are growing like crazy here in central SC.
I have done cherry tomatoes in my freeze dryer after halving them. They have the best crunch on salads and such. They also rehydrated great and I roasted them with asparagus. Delish.
Fun show!! Man, that’s a deep rabbit hole you’re going down with Wild Boar tomatoes! I usually always grow one or two for kicks. Brad is the Mad Scientist of Mater breeders!
Tobacco flowers! I think they are beautiful! I’m in central Arkansas zone 7b and the Large Barred Boar and Barry Crazy Cherry are staples in my garden!! The Large Barred Boar doesn’t get as tall as a normal indeterminate tomato, has thin flesh, a pretty good producer, and taste really good! The Barry’s crazy cherry isn’t our favorite tasting cherry but man does it set fruit like crazy!! Looks like I’ll be adding your lemon boy seeds next year!
I don't even like to eat tomatoes. But I feel so compelled to grow them. Brad's Atomic Grapes did so well for us last year. We have planted several Hoss recommended for this year
Such great information! I’ll be coming back to this video next year to help me make good decisions on tomato varieties to grow. Old goat is in the basket of potatoes by Mama Hoss!
YUMMY! The best part of gardening. EATING, and taste testing! Get some more of those yellow and orange watermelons up here in Michigan. I just got a seeded red out of the local grocery store. It's a 9.5 out of 10. I'm looking forward to my 12 different varieties of tomatoes I have planted. I don't like a lot of seeds/voids in my tomatoes. And the Lemon Boy which I had last year was lacking flavor. It's interesting that you liked it. There's no wrong answers here.
We just tried our first tomato of this season, and it was a Bella Rosa. It was a pretty tasty and meaty tomato. Looking forward to trying more varieties of tomatoes from our garden. The seeds came from Hoss Tools.
@@nolagirlhomestead It’s hard growing tomatoes in AZ because of the heat. If I have any Bella Rosa seeds left, I’ll start some plants for a second planting during the monsoon when afternoons and nights are cooler.

The Old Goat must have found a new hobby as this week he is a potatoneer scaling that mountain of potatoes back left side of Mama Hoss. The flowers well they are beautiful and I am totally clueless as to what they are called!
I love your tasting shows! I actually expect y'all to taste something every show, lol. Last year when I first started watching Row by Row, you would have me starving, so I started grabbing a glass of tea and a snack before every live show. I have gotten out of my comfort zone and am growing tomatoes that I have never heard of, Hillbilly and Israel are just 2 of the 10 different indeterminate varieties I have, Sheila grew those yellow doll melons in her raised beds last year and I ordered seeds to plant in my beds. Do you think I could get a crop of those yellow doll watermelons in this summer, I am in zone 7 TN? Thanks for a great show and those flowers are tobacco flowers.

Old goat has been digging up his 'taters this week. Looks like he brought in a good crop or Red Norland's on the 2nd shelf behind Mama Hoss. Those are "Nicotinia" blossoms (tobacco flowers). If I had to guess further, it's from the Heritage Gold variety (a variant of the old Virginia gold?). How did I do on that one there, Boss? My granddaddy took a shot at growing some in the 60's on his 55 acre retirement hobby farm. Looks like the Seminole XR corn has a built in handle for fresh eating! We have Primus and Sweetness planted right now, but I may have to give Seminole XR a try! Greg, your Yellow Doll watermelons are ahead of ours (zone 8a vs your 8b is about a 1-2 week difference). That is one fine looking watermelon! We are looking forward to sharing ours with our grandson soon though! For our "novelty" tomatoes this year I'm growing "Mountain Gold" from Dr Gardner at NC State Mountain Research Station, and "Sunny Boy". Both are yellow/gold and lower acid types. Another great show, and it's time to get dirty.....

Have you ever grown the German Johnson type tomato? If so what do you think about their flavor? Thanks for this video I might try to grow some lemon boy next year see how the do in Southeastern Tn.
Great show! Tastings always make me want to grow new varieties. The old goat is hiding in the mountain of potatoes on the shelf. I believe the flower are nicotiana (tobacco) flowers but I a unsure which variety.
I think the flowers are Nicotiana or Tobacco Plant and I think the Old Goat is resting on some nice looking potatoes :). I just ordered some more Max Pack and Canary Yellow seeds. I ran out and I've had a pesky Racoon tromping through my raised bed and messing up my plants :(
While y’all playing in the tomatoes ole goat is playing in the potatoes. Those yellow and black tomatoes are interesting to me. Now I want to try them.😊
Looks like a type of tobacco. They are great pollinator flowers for hummingbirds and bees. They can also help inside with gnats and flies. I tried growing popcorn type last year but they got hit by bugs and too hot of weather. Im doing two types of sweet corn again this year. Im learning more and more every year. Im still learning more about trying to grow onions and beans in my garden. Im doing great with peppers and tomatoes. I love the cherokee purples and the various brandywine tomatoes. I love the black and dark type tomatoes but this year im also trying rubys green and some new black varieties. I think next year i want to try thorburn terracotta and kellogs breakfast. But brandywines will definitely be on my lists. I do have yellow swiss chard and spinach growing great. I love learning every year new vegetables and ways of growing. Im doing things in containers, beds, hydroponics, and trying ollas irrigation and cover cropping methods.
I just transplanted some Mexico Midget tomatoes in Florida Zone 9a. They are supposed to only be the size of a pea or a marble and have the best tasting tomato flavor of any tomato. They are reported to take the heat and even a light frost. Those flowers look like Honeysuckle.

Have you ever grown the German Johnson type tomato? If so what do you think about their flavor? Thanks for this video I might try to grow some lemon boy next year see how the do in Southeastern Tn.
We have not.
You guys are making me jealous! I don't have any tomatoes ripe tomatoes yet.😊
Tobacco flowers are my guess ❤ love your videos! Thank you!
Great show! Tastings always make me want to grow new varieties. The old goat is hiding in the mountain of potatoes on the shelf. I believe the flower are nicotiana (tobacco) flowers but I a unsure which variety.
That is right.
I think the flowers are Nicotiana or Tobacco Plant and I think the Old Goat is resting on some nice looking potatoes :). I just ordered some more Max Pack and Canary Yellow seeds. I ran out and I've had a pesky Racoon tromping through my raised bed and messing up my plants :(
Tobacco plant flowers! Old Goat is in the potatoes. Thanks for your videos
So nice of you
Have no idea what variety flower that is but those tomatoes look beautiful

I have an issue with not knowing when to pick my tomatoes. I don't want to pick them too early but I don't know what is the right time or too late.
We are going to cover this on next weeks show.
Tobacco flowers and the goat is on top of the potatoes to Sheila left side!
You are right, good job.
Tobacco flower. My Mom used to grow them.
Good evening yall. The ole goat is in the potatoes behind Ms Sheila. Mr Greg how long does the yellow doll seeds last?
a year if stored properly
You are right, good job.
I just transplanted some Mexico Midget tomatoes in Florida Zone 9a. They are supposed to only be the size of a pea or a marble and have the best tasting tomato flavor of any tomato. They are reported to take the heat and even a light frost. Those flowers look like Honeysuckle.
