TOMATO TASTING (Which Varieties Will Make the Cut for Next Year) | Garden 2023

It's the moment I've been waiting for all year.... TOMATO TASTING! And now that they're coming in droves, it's time to decide which varieties will stay for next year and which will go! Growing 62 varieties of tomato plants may seem a bit excessive; however, I LOVE experimenting with new varieties and flavors and seeing which varieties do well in our climate and which don't. I love cooking and canning with a variety of tomatoes because I feel like I get a more robust flavor burst then when I only use one or two varieties.
So.... all of this to say, every year I try to fine-tune my tomato garden to my specific kitchen goals and needs. And I'm looking forward to SHARING MY TASTING (& testing) results with you!!
