As someone who bought a $700 PC, I can say that y’all were on the money. I can’t play most of the new games coming out. 😭
You bought some prebuilt home office HP PC, you should have researched before on best value gaming PC's.
For 700 usd you get a new Ryzen 5600, 32gb ram, RX 7600 8gb, 1TB m.2 ssd, with these specs you can play any modern game on 1080p ultra (except Starfield because it's shit), or even at 1440p if you lower the settings or just use FSR (AMD version of Nvidia's DLSS) when you can.

I think the better question to ask for someone looking to build a pc is to ask what games they play. If someone is looking to only play roblox, valo, sims. Then a budget build or maybe a laptop would be enough. If you're looking to play AAA games tho, you need to save up or just get a console if you really *need* to play it right now.

@@vinnymac102 Harvestellar, and Bravely Default for example sold terrible on the switch. Bayonetta series has consistently underperformed sales wise since becoming exclusive to Nintendo.

& Bayonetta sequels exists because Nintendo funded & publishes those instead of SEGA.

Helldiver 2 complaints about mass region-locking (Wii U had this problem), Steam mandates were previously not enforced, Sony literally changing the FAQ/ToS on their info pages, and having to give more personal info than usual (i.e. facial identity): Over 99%
I made separate accounts for the following games: Warframe, Titanfall2, Prodeus (to upload and play custom maps), and many more. It also isn't wise to cherry-pick countries like Ukraine to say "it isn't a big deal because they have real life warfare to worry about" when there are 100+ more countries that have a considerable amount of Helldiver 2 players like the Philippines. It seems like you focused more on the lesser complaints than the bigger issues people had.

re-releasing Horizon Zero Dawn makes sense because:
1. the game runs in checkerboard resolution and has some backwards compatibility issues
2. Horizon Forbidden West looks drastically better and it's easy to backport the upgraded models and engine features to the first one just like they did with TLOU1 and TLOU2

It wasn't the same as the Epic Game Store situation. Little-to-nothing to do with Steam-onlyism. Sony originally said it was optional before a sudden Tos/FAQ change, Sony requires a picture ID which I am pretty sure Epic/Origin/Microsoft don't, and the worst of all was the region-locking which closes off half of the playerbase of the game.
However Sony did just bend the knee to the gamers.
