I dont know if people realize but these company spending more money on games nowadays but not getting a return an because of that gaming production is slowing down for example XBOX= THIRD PARTY, SONY= GAMES AS A SERVICE, NINTENDO STICKING MAINLY TO THERE MARIO, POKEMON, ZELDA FRANCHISES THAT MAKES THEM THE MOST MONEY. Its obvious to see.
I'll reiterate: that State of PC was a solid C-. Even with my low expectations, it was still underwhelming. The best and most original thing they showed was Astro Bot, which says a lot. I'm tired of all these souls-clone and PC ports - and every game is just a copy of another game without it doing anything different.
Silent Hill 2 looks great to me. I actually played and enjoyed the original as well as Silent Hill 3 and Downpour so playing this new remake with upgraded visuals and a 3rd party perspective is enough of an upgrade for me. Tick is absolutely right, it's a series thats always been about the story and atmosphere. Dudes have the nerve to talk about how great souls games and wanna downplay Silent Hill 2 for being janky. We all know Capcom did an amazing job with Resident Evil 2 but we don't expect the same out of most developers to be as good as Capcom so why do ya'll expect Bloober team to be as good as them?
I just don't understand the argument that PC players would buy sony single player games if they came day 1. If you haven't played it why wouldn't you buy it a year later when it drops? Sales of these games just seems like PC players have horrible taste and wouldn't buy the games regardless.
