I just recently came across your channel when UA-cam popped another one of your videos when I was looking at something Prius related. Kudos to you both for hanging up this channel because you didn't want to seem like you were working "for" UA-cam, instead of the other way around.
This is exactly the reason I didn't want to start making content for UA-cam/Instagram/other social media when I was traveling. Back in 2017 (Wow! I can't believe that was 7 years ago), I quit my job and traveled through all the lower 48 states, visiting ALL the National Parks in my Toyota Prius for a full year. A whole year traveling 30,000+ miles, camping, car camping, stealth camping, boondocking in my 2011 Toyota Prius. Met my girlfriend in that trip and she traveled through 10 states with me over the course of the year. It was a lot of fun!! I would probably have saved a lot of money with sponsorship/subscriptions/product endorsements, but then, I would have also spent a lot more time making videos than being in the moment and enjoying it. So, I decided against it.
So, once again, kudos to you for being honest to yourselves and deciding on what is more important. Bravo...👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. I will follow the rest of your videos before you close this down. All the best to both of you and your little one.
Having followed this channel since you were saving the world one Birkenstock at a time, it's been wonderful to see how you've grown. Your decision to look after what matters most is bittersweet, but has felt like it was inevitable. It's going to be a fun 6 mo this and I'm excited to see what you both do in your respective projects in the future. Frankie deserves the best, and you're delivering.

Same. Maybe we’re in the minority, but the videos about them trying to live “normal” sustainable lives have always been my favorite videos. Levi and Leah in the loft apartment sitting on the yellow couch… before “life” happened. I know RV life type videos are trendy and get the views, but I would love a channel about trying to live sustainably with a kid. Too many family channels are people in their giant White House’s driving enormous SUVs and buying junk.
Been a day one viewer and I gotta say. What you have done on the platform is awesome, entertaining and very educative. Always sad to see a great channel move on but I'm sure this is the best for you guys. And I'm sure gonna be around to watch future proof and see what you guys do from here : )

ive been with you guys since nearly the beginning, your old videos helped me start my neverending journey to become the environmentalist i want to be. now your videos are like regular meetings with old friends, and bring ao much joy. this is very bittersweet for me but im sure more so for you. i hope you find the balance you need in your lives to find the most joy & fulfillment in parenting and your career paths. im especially glad that youve found a prettty airtight way to safeguard (among other things) frankie from the war zone that is sharing your children on the internet.

I know your life isn't perfect, but I have always admired how well you work together as a couple. Marriage isn't easy, so it's nice to see a couple who makes it work by wanting the best for each other. The respect and love you have for each other is very apparent.

I have had four kids and you all did something amazing by doing a great tour in your Prius. A lot of people don’t get that they don’t understand that you should do something fabulous like that before the kids come and then settle down and be a family so you’re doing everything perfectly

This is so understandable - my husband and I were just talking last night about changes post baby. Our son is 4 months old and there's so much adjusting - we moved in with his mom because she's in her 70s and an empty nester with too much space to handle by herself, but trying to figure out life with him is a lot, figuring out life sharing space with his mom, figuring out how to spend quality time with each other. Whatever works best for you and your family! I love Lia's podcast so will look forward to listening to your podcasts again and watching future proof. Cheers guys!! ♥♥
Heavy decisions. Completely understand. Family should be first, the experiences you make in everyday life(Sunday dinner included, yum!)are the big picture, everything that comes along side of that are fill in snapshots. Excited to see the trailer finished. Will not say goodbye but a caring see you later! Growth is important in your online careers as well, that is what fuels and grows our souls too. It’s still very possible to make vlogs about day to day being settled, like you mentioned. I guess I just don’t want you thinking you had to be doing super exciting things to be an amazing channel to watch. I love how relatable day to day life UA-cam can be, and I’ll really miss you, but I’m happy you’re both happy ❤ also the sponsorships you do take are sustainable businesses and I’d say why stop sharing those businesses! As someone who has watched this channel from the start, it has been amazing watching you grow to be a couple, married, and now parents. You've accomplished so much but this realization is a wise one. I am sad to see you go. I completely agree with your decision. As a single mom, and now grandma to the perfect 3 year old grandson, I totally understand! I loved watching your adventures and seeing things through your eyes. Will miss you on here but family always comes first :)
Family life off of UA-cam is super important! But also, you could think about going to your roots about living sustainable as a family. It seems like something that is super overwhelming, but not if you make small choices!

I really think you guys are my favourite youtube channel, in a very inspiring way, in a very human way. I think I kind of aspire to be as cool and funny and nice and sweet and interesting and empowering as you two are. I love that you're parents now, I think Frankie is very lucky to have this parents! Your decision is completely understandable and I'm really glad you've found what's best for you guys (even if it makes me a bit sad). Enjoy life!! We'll keep following you around :)
