    Yes, our adoption pickup trip, she was 4, but the size of a 2 year old. So much tiny clothes we had to wash in the tiny European under the kitchen counter washing machine (with only a drying rack next to a steam radiator in a weird open spot in the kitchen of the short term rental we were using.) That was 5 years ago this month, she just turned 10. Holy cow time flies.

    As someone who has had a lot of old vehicles with no way to play music you can buy converters (Canadian Tire might have them) that will play your phone through the radio via the cigarette lighter. It's a game changer!

    People "cobb-job" projects for all sorts of reasons(none of them good, in my mind). Sorry, you have to deal with more of the same. But when you are done it will be right and last a second lifetime. Crazy about the windows though. Keep, keepin' on! It's also a great, greater bonding experience too, a project.....thankful for your Dad's wood supply too! Hooray Levi's Dad! Chamomile tea for inflammation(make it hotter than normal and steam while sipping)and local honey not only helps with allergies, but sinus and colds(my experience). I say, as my source has been moved away from me locally, so on the hunt for another local to me honey source....sad. But grateful for bees!😊❤

    I remember the "portable" days when my son was an infant --- they actually require a lot less "attention" and entertaining traveling than when they get older and there's that whole wonderful period where an atom bomb could go off and they don't even hear it ... we would pop our son in the middle of a table at the busy, noisy pizza parlor in his car seat/carry seat and he'd happily sleep through dinner (once HE was fed, of course) ... it was great. Of course, they DO require a lot of "stuff" to go anywhere, but that's a given.

    I find it interesting that people try to shame people for traveling while sick (not covid) when almost every work place in America expects you to come in to work if you’re not completely incapacitated (and the healthcare industry is the worst offender). The people in any store? Working while sick. People in restaurants? Working while sick. Guess these people who want to shame people for continuing to choose paying their bills and putting food on the table are stay at home moms/workers or so rich they don’t have to worry about working.

    • @homeshows
      @homeshows 5 місяців тому +5

      @@Noniinthebushperhaps there could less sick people if a bit more consideration and caution was used. Maybe that is what is wrong with the world. Too little consideration of others. It doesn't take much to help decrease the spread of your own illness. A mask, proper hygiene, distance, avoiding being in public spaces when ill are all simple easy options and you can pick and choose and maybe save someone else from getting sick.
