A year after this films release Juice WRLD passed away. His inclusion in the film’s soundtrack along with other popular artists really helped sell the idea that Mile’s really was just a regular kid who happened to get stuck with the situation of trying to become Spider-Man. He wasn’t another rendition of Peter Parker like the Miles from the comics but instead Phil Lord and Chris Miller re envisioned his character to being more like a regular kid from Brooklyn that you’d find in the back of your class.
If you didn’t catch it, Aaron was still under Jeff’s favorite contacts. But I bet Jeff knew that his brother was the Prowler, that’s why he thinks that he’s a bad influence for Miles even though Miles sees him as a more supportive father figure.
Seeing as he encouraged Miles to do his graffiti-ing, he was probably a bad influence without the prowler thing. I think most people have at least one bad-influence uncle/aunt. I've got 2.
