Just saw him, Andy Leftwitch and Travis Alltop at a music camp at Shady Acres Baptist Church in Houston, TX last month.
In an early Austin City Limits, Jim was playing banjo with Ralph Stanley. He looked like a Mike Snider twin. I thought is was Snider using an alias. Glad Jim didn't go the way of Snider. People have walked out of a Snider performance because of his "blue" material.
