I know it's an adaptation but that's no reason to shovel in new details for a book that was already too long and full of plenty of different things to try to begin with. Why add all this extra stuff when what was already written could have been TV magic if left as is? Imagine how creative all the supernatural elements to the character could've been had the Woh series decided Pennywise was a real shapeshifting unkillable being from another universe that feeds on fear like the book, instead of turning him into a simple humiliated clown who died. It WAS creative to always have his makeup pattern change. That way you can't directly identify him so there's no hope of catching him.

How to kill each pennywise: Miniseries: shoot him in the belly with an earring, push him over and rip his heart out. Movies: make him believe that he's small, wait for him to get small enough and... rip his heart out. Again. Indian TV series: tell his mother. She'll make him apologize and he'll disappear. I understand why no one knew about this.
For me is the Tim Curry version because he looks more a real menacing clown, the Bill version looks like the clown as we describe more in the media and culture pop
The whole Pennywise story is about life. From childhood to being an adult. Being scared. Overcoming your fears. Descending into darkness, and rising back out.
I don't know how intentional it was, but weirdly one thing Woh was the most accurate to the book on is the static silhouette form. Which is pretty similar to the form It takes when Patrick Hockstetter sees It. Patrick isn't afraid of much, so when It comes to drag him away he just sees some indescribable figure like constantly changing melting wax. Missed opportunity in the newer film only to have Patrick attacked by generic zombie kids.

I was working in kids animation for a while and originally made the Basset video to add to my demo reel when a show I was working on got cancelled, and I had moved across the country for the job. So naturally I was pretty bored but got inspired to make a Jason video after watching a few of the movies in a row on Netflix, and somehow people found the channel and have kept coming back. It's been a couple crazy years.

I liked your basset hound video and you can tell it's different from the Jason voorhees evolution and others but it's still good. I mean everything I said. You're a great channel. I like how the filmmakers said the movie would be more like the book but it just turned out to be a remake of the miniseries complete with the giant spider reveal and the group heart extraction. By the way, if Pennywise is a manifestation, and the clown was never really there physically speaking, then why did the heart thing work?
It did take the form of a giant spider in the book, or rather that’s how our human minds comprehend IT, ant it is fueled by belief and I think that might be the final part of the ritual of chud.

I was working in kids animation for a while and originally made the Basset video to add to my demo reel when a show I was working on got cancelled, and I had moved across the country for the job. So naturally I was pretty bored but got inspired to make a Jason video after watching a few of the movies in a row on Netflix, and somehow people found the channel and have kept coming back. It's been a couple crazy years.
@@TellItAnimated that's a great story. What was the demo show called? I wouldn't recommend Jason takes Manhattan if you want entertainment and gore😂. I liked your basset hound video and you can tell it's different from the Jason voorhees evolution and others but it's still good. I mean everything I said. You're a great channel. Animations fantastic. Please keep doing them.
@@roguebritgravy1 The show was called Cops and was set to star Louis CK and be produced by him, but after he got me too'd, the whole crew was let go. It was actually my second day there haha. But it was really a blessing in disguise

I like how the filmmakers said the movie would be more like the book but it just turned out to be a remake of the miniseries complete with the giant spider reveal and the group heart extraction. By the way, if Pennywise is a manifestation, and the clown was never really there physically speaking, then why did the heart thing work?
It wasn’t a remake of the miniseries. Obviously they were similar because they’re based on the same book
The heart thing didn’t work,
They just banished him out of a physical body and back into the Macroverse, only killing him on earth
It did take the form of a giant spider in the book, or rather that’s how our human minds comprehend IT, ant it is fueled by belief and I think that might be the final part of the ritual of chud.
