I’m amazed how Frankford avenue has gentrified. I was growing up in the early 70s. Trenton avenue used to have an elevated railroad line that was removed in the early 1980s this is why the Belgian blocks are still there. As for the block numbers east and west are delimited by Front street and north and south by Market street. I had the wrench back then I was always asked on a summer day to crack a hydrant or two. And yes too many open hydrants will seriously drop the water pressure.
I grew up at Fkd and venango. I remember riding on Delaware Ave now Columbus Blvd. and seeing the Jack Frost sign. You went past Mastbaum HS without filming. 🤷🏼♀️ can’t believe Wilson meats is still there. Thanks for the ride!
Thank you for the tour i always wanted to walk around Frankford Ave area but I don't feel safe. Rinidad Tires must be a mosquito breeding nightmare during summer wet spells.
Beg your pardon but Colorado has more water( not salt ) than anywhere in the northeast. The Colorado River supplies water to 6 or 7 states and northern Mexico. FYI
Wow.. I moved to Florida over 6 years ago and I can't believe how much it has changed.... I am from Bridesburg and we would go to Penn treaty park on the weekends and go fishing on the pier there.. How things change..
Lol, I did acid where you started this video, and while tripping I could have gotten to Franford faster. Also the Handlebar was great...sorry it's closed.
Originally from the 1900 Block of East Stella Street, where the current Willard School is was the Franklin Playground, it had a pool, drunken teens kept my mom up all-night LOL. On Frankford Ave and Ann, Nelson and Vy hand a mom and pop store with a deli my aunt worked there until she graduated HS and then got a job at Martin's Deli, this was the 70's. The Spanish Store at Frankford and Ann was the old S & B Market, mom shopped there, Saturdays did bulk shopping at the Pathmark on Frankford Ave and Academy Roads. Mom and Pop stores is where everyone still does their shopping.
You want an actual hiking backpack, which has a whole more features than just a "schoolbag". :-) You could try REI, or maybe Columbia, they sell hiking/outdoors stuff. They call them "load lifters", they're pull straps at the top of the straps, they lift the body of the bag higher up on your back. Usually that's more for easier weight distribution, tho.
Another great ' scoot ' I'm learning a lot of Philly history. The old trolley tracks I saw earlier, are they still being used ? I can actually visualize the old trolley from the early 1900s going up and down the street.. Thanks .
Will you do something so I don't have to? I've been told that there are gravestones in the water that are that are part of the base for the Betsy Ross bridge. You can't see them at low tide apparently. My family stones are probably among them.
@ElleCee62978 bburg or garden st? Bought a house here 13 years ago and couldn't be happier. The only area in Philly that is mostly normal people lol. I grew up in Port Richmond but 3/4 of Richmond isn't the same as it was in the 80s and 90s.

Here we are ,you video is fantastik, bye Marc from Germany. 👍
I remember when the hydrants were all painted red, white and blue ...
Very interesting ride!
Won't run out of water, but too many fire plugs (hydrants) on will lower the water pressure in the area. Problem for the firefighters!
Another great ' scoot '

Look up headstones under the Betsy Ross Bridge. I made the video 3 years ago
The thing about American pickers is, the pickers know the buyers and you don’t. It’s not as simple to do as you think or you’d do it yourself.
It's over developed
Both American pickers and pawn stars are more than fair with people. Especially American pickers
Worst comment ever
U should ride ur scooter round 22nd and diamond streets.....
I have
Is it just me or are some of your videos tilted since you got the new scooter?
