Yay! To those who requested Postmodern Jukebox!
I love this version. PMJ's version of Creep is superb, and All About that Bass (also with Haley Reinhardt) is also great.
I'm thinking the same 👍🔥🎶🎶
First time reacting to you, Good reaction and you ain't lying about your ramblin, from 10:14 to 13:40 I was like WTF is he talking about, still good luck with your channel and will be checking more of your reactions out, you got a new subscriber.
Because I keep the editing of the videos to a minimum to keep my reactions as authentic as possible, there will always be a bit of rambling as I try to sort through my thoughts as they occur. I feel it would not be as honest if I only left in the parts that make me look good haha. so even if I ramble, at least the reaction is 100% me and not just what I want people to see
You probably looked into her by now, but yes, she's had lots of training. First as a classically trained opera singer at Julliard , then on Broadway, and now mostly blues. Very versatile, has covered many types of songs, including the entire Beatles White Album. Also has albums of her own songs. Also never uses any type of auto tune, all her natural voice and skills.
Postmodern juke box have some awesome singer and writer also band players
👍 I'm in line with the other commenters🎶🎉😍
PMJ brought us Haley Reinhart, Morgan James and many more wonderful vocalists.......Scott Bradlee, the pianist, does the arrangements ( this one's straight outta' "orchestral rock" ) and the band is top notch ! Where else will you hear a CELLO solo in a rock song? .......btw, Morgan was trained in voice at Julliard, has performed in musicals on stage and can sing AnyThang........
Strangely enough, I've done a queensryche tribute set with a Chellist
Welcome to the Morgan James Fan Club! Now on to "All About that Bass" with Casey Abrams, Haley Reinhart, Morgan James & Ariana Savalas (Telly's daughter) ua-cam.com/video/aLnZ1NQm2uk/v-deo.html , Haley Reinhart, Morgan James & Ariana Savalas "Burn" Sydney Australia - ua-cam.com/video/q5E2IsozXBQ/v-deo.html , "Maps" ua-cam.com/video/8gO_lxThc1M/v-deo.html and "I Really Don't Care" ua-cam.com/video/EddjOiFcp9Y/v-deo.html . Morgan and Haley cover "Dear Prudence" ua-cam.com/video/wv_Xhzwvjyg/v-deo.html is also a must! Then down the rabbit holes of Morgan and Haley's other tunes on-line. You will not be disappointed...
PMJs rendition of Black Hole Sun with Haley Reinhardt is really amazing.
Did you know that you look a bit like Joe Cocker, an unbelievable old school rocker. I’m a poet and I didn’t know it and aren’t you glad?! 😂☺️🤓
PMJ is amazing. Their live shows are beyond words.
I would love to attend a live show of theirs. Hopefully one day if I ever travel to the US as I can understand acts not travelling to Australia for financial reasons
@@oldmanmetaldude - PMJ has put on shows in Australia before, altho I don't see any for the Pacific region coming up. They currently have two casts on tour, one in the US, the other in Europe. They update their website frequently when new shows are added, subscribe to their mailing list if you're interested.
LOL MJ is classical trained from Julliard and has done broadway aswell, believe me... she knows her stuff....... take a peak at her and PMJ's version of Hoziers " take me to church" ua-cam.com/video/9C0xGB73Uuc/v-deo.html
Haley Reinhart singing Black Hole Sun gives you what you are wanting in the climax of a rock song reimagined in this way.
Great reaction. I’m an Aerosmith fan and Steve Tyler’s voice is unique . Her voice is great , but it’s probably a 6/10 for me , Voice Play do a way better cover ( my opinion only )

Love this song. I appreciate music of all types, but some songs are so iconic. The only vocal cover for this one I was amazed by was by Dan Vasc. He can do that metal scream but cleaner losing some of the raspiness of Steven Tyler. I will have to check out Voice Play.
