Good thing the 49ers drafted Joe Montana and he is the number one greatest Quarter back of all time and won 4 Superbowl championship's with the 49ers. And I wish he was still playing with the 49ers as Quarter back. He is already retired witch sucks
I needed one drive or just one game I'd put my money on Montana. People forget he was KOd late in the 90/91 NFC title game with the lead. He goes down, Young comes in cold, so just trying to run out the clock Roger Craig fumbles, Giants recover and drive to kick the game winner. Montana closes that game out, probably goes 5-0 in SBs and with a 3peat. Plus he lost all of 91 and 92 due to that injury. Imagine what SF could have done during those seasons with a healthy Joe. Then he returns after 2 years and leads KC to the AFC title game. 4-0 in SBs, zero ints. He played when you could kill receivers over the middle, get away with contact past 5 yds down field and when QBs got crushed. He won 2 SBs before Rice was even drafted. Joe Montana is the greatest QB in NFL history.
6 game winning drives in 6 title wins.. and almost a full season worth of PLAYOFF game winning drives/ 4th quarter comebacks (14) and almost 50 gwd and 4th quarter come backs total (most all time or 2nd ) but joe was the brady of his time for sure
I'm a big Joe Montana fan. His critics give Jerry Rice credit for his success. In 1981 and 1984(Montana's first two Super Bowl victories), Rice was in college
Both Joe and Tom had great coaches and complete teams around them. I personally would take John Elway over both because he didn't have great coaches and complete teams always and was way more talented and carried weaker teams that neither of them would have made it on. I'm not knocking Montana or Brady but both always won with elite teams. Elway would have matched them with rings had he always played on the same type of teams as he did his last 2 years
Cecil Geron Tom Brady never has had a complete team around him the only time he did was in 2007 his greatest receiver today was a 7 th rounder and John elegy had shanon sharp and Terrell Davis
Growing up in NorCal and seeing the 49ers and Giants play made me realize that SF go through periods were the teams are asleep but then you get this one player that may not be the tallest or the biggest and awakes the giant and changes the history of the game. I think that is why SF and most of NorCal love and are so passionate about their SF teams.
Joe Montana is the goat Still 4-0 never Lost and never threw a interception in his 4 Superbowl wins and if Tom Brady played in the game when Montana played he wouldn't last 1 season
SeahawkFan1995 when you say that joe Montana never lost a SuperBowl all I can think about is o he lost a lot more NFC games than Brady lost AFC games. Also Brady has been to more than double the amount of superbowls joe Montana has been to also Brady has thrown more yards more touchdown passes in a single game more touchdown passes in a quarter, more touchdown passes in a career also Tom has thrown 79 touchdown in the playoffs no other player has more than 40. Tom has played in 15% of all superbowls that have happened and the fact that you have to bring up Tom Brady name in a video that's all about joe Montana is proof that Brady is the greatest ever.
Ok , Terry Bradshaw went 4-0 In Super Bowls before Montanas 1st ever Playoff appearance... Trent Dilfer, Joe Flacco, Jim Plunkett and Joe Namath never threw an Interception in a Super Bowl either... are they all better than Brady according to your Dumbass Logic ?
@@chandlersbryant4047 Yes because Brady never would have won shit if he played the same time as Montana. Defensive units from both conferences would have had a field day every Sunday with his weak ass.

@@Pubify17 Goat 🐐 Brady 73 td passes playoffs and 6 rings and 4 sb mvps better all time Quarterback then Montana 45 td passes playoffs and 4 rings and 3 sb Mvps 😂😂😂😂
Huge part of my childhood. Made me think of teams like the 86 Giants, 85 Bears defense, the Hogs of Washington, Warren Moon and the three Amigos, The Icky Shuffle. Redskins had a WR core called the Posse. Elway beating the Browns. Good times.
Seattle gave you that superbowl. They're on the goalline and they don't run the ball but throw it into heavy coverage for a gameSEALING interception by one of the Pats DEFENSE. They run the ball, different ending.
Superbowl 42 ELI MANNING (in a 4th Quarter drive that truely lived up to Montana Magic form) lead the NYG to score the lead. The Brady Bunch has it's final possession on its own 26 with 29 seconds remaining and three timeouts. Brady could have been the GOAT IF HE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE WINNING TOUCH DOWN IN LESS TIME THAN MONTANA'S COMEBACK WIN AGAINST THE BENGALS. Even with Randy Moss he CHOKED.
The GOAT. If Joe would have had the benefit of modern medicine and rules - he'd have played as long as Brady and probably would have brought a couple of rings to KC. Scratch that - the Niners probably would have traded Young and not Montana.
The fact that Brady has been in more, also winning 4.. Is what makes his Super Bowl stats better. Yes he lost two close Super Bowls, but that's also two AFC championships that Joe had never won. And if Montana had gone to 6, he could also have a record of 4-2...
Uhm. Brady hasnt won 10 SB and hasnt played in 100. Its a shame you underplay the fact that Brady has been to 7 SB. That is a great accomplishment. And if not for a couple of lucky pkays by the Giants the Patriots would have won those games. 4 for 4 is great but 5 out of 7 with multiple records and one of the greatest comebacks in sports history is far far better. Sorry man.
That is a ridiculous statement. There are 4 teams that have never played in the Superbowl. It is not that easy to get there. Yes Montana won 4 out of 4 Superbowl's in his 16 year career, excellent stats, but still only 4 times during his entire career. However, Brady has brought his team to 8 Superbowl's, winning 5 and possibly 6 at 40 years old. Let's also not forget in the age of free agents along with all the different players he has had to work with, that is one hell of an achievement. Brady is not only the comeback kid, he is the GOAT.
Montana will always be the Greatest. Just getting to the Super bowl through that stacked NFC in the playoffs was a feat of itself. Now that Peyton Manning has retired what team in the AFC can challenge the Pats? That alone tells you how weak the AFC is. The NFC isn't much better. The league got what they wanted "Parity" that's turned the league into fielding mediocre product that's ripe for a offense with a great HC/QB combo to dominate because of rule changes that have stymied and made nearly impossible to build a shut down defense.
KC has Andy Reid and he is up there with Mary Schottenheimer for big game choking head coaches. KC's problem is they need more production from their offense. Too many wins for KC depended on defensive/special teams scores to get them their wins. Can't depend on that week to week. Pittsburgh just gives up too many yards and points from a very weak secondary. Their front seven is slightly above average and Ben isn't getting any younger. Oakland has a very good offense with a bright future with Carr, but they need to beef up that secondary with some quality players or they will be in shootouts every week.
The NFC powers in the last few years have been high quality: The Seahawks have been to 2 Super bowls, and they are a model franchise. Like Bill Walsh, the Seahawks GM has unearthed gems in the Draft - that Seahawk defense had a lead on the Atlanta falcons last year in the playoffs... and that was without Earl Thomas. So it's wrong to say you can't build a great defense today. Who was the team to embarrass Tom Brady's Patriots in 2015? A top defense in Denver. And look at the Falcons: A very balanced team - they can run the ball, they have phenomenal passing options. They have a young, speedy defense.
The NE win over Seattle in the SB is the closest thing I've ever seen to Brady having a Montana game where he actually produced a heroic effort to bring a team back to win a classic battle for the Lombardi. It's a real shame that ATL folded in the 2nd half of SB 51. ATL had thoroughly whipped Brady and NE. A credit to Brady though: the guy plays a full 60 minute game.
Elevated every team he played for. He was a magical....mythical figure. College National Champion. 4 time SB champion...with 3 SB MVP's. League MVP. All- Decade team....just too many accolades. Made KC competitive. Back was destroyed mid career...and he was told to look at retiring...he'd likely never play again. Came back and won 2 more championships. He was special to watch. Brady, Montana, & Manning stand alone IMO. These are the super greats. You have the greats (a list of about 15-20 or so). Then there are the super-greats....The Mt. Rushmore guys. But to me...Montana is the greatest of this elite group. Brady & Manning came up in an era of almost lab produced offensive linemen (enhanced & developed with the best science and tech...from 8, 9, 10 years old)....they had giant machines protecting them...AND it was an era that said you had to lay off the QB. Meanwhile...guys like Singletary and Lawrence Taylor were allowed to obliterate QB's in the 1980's & 90's. Theismann was broken like a twig on national TV (Monday Night game I believe...I will never forget it). Montana had his back destroyed. It was just part of Football back then. Then sometime around the early 2000's they put protections in place. They have added even more protections in recent years due to CTE and also because owners wanted to protect their investments. So it's not quite the same game for QB's.
The ACE of ACE'S Joe Montana. The best there ever was. Mediocre organization, Mediocre coaching, and no Hall of Fame Running back to work with, to take the pressure off him.

We were absolutely stunned as the truth slowly made it's way.

Exactly. Well said.
Why only 4 SB’s? The real GOAT left him in the dust 5 years ago. 6 rings will always be more than 4.
UMDMustang92 took him 6 extra years to match though
Everybody- Brady is the most clutch qb ever
Montana- Hold my beer
Hey Brady still better but
I love both I love excellence but Brady is the cluchest player ever
6 game winning drives in 6 title wins.. and almost a full season worth of PLAYOFF game winning drives/ 4th quarter comebacks (14) and almost 50 gwd and 4th quarter come backs total (most all time or 2nd ) but joe was the brady of his time for sure
Elway- hold my keg
Tell me Brady has not thrown a interception in Superbowl answer yes Montana never ok the GOAT Montana
I'm a big Joe Montana fan. His critics give Jerry Rice credit for his success. In 1981 and 1984(Montana's first two Super Bowl victories), Rice was in college
Montana had his best games in the super bowl. Nobody played better in the biggest game.
Bro he deserves 1 mill I always binge watch his vids
Hit the like for them good old day of my Niner Empire ✌🏼😎✌🏼
Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana two real GOATS.
Imagine Joe Montana in this modern era of NFL football!
My Guy ........Thank you for all the great memories Joe your the Goat in my book!

Greatest quarterback of all time
Kade it's not Brady and if you believe that you don't know football
TO learn football. So I guess the Patriots O-line's and defenses with all pros on both were weak. Brady is an average QB on a solid team period
They didn't need Tom Brady to launch that dynasty because they still would have won with Drew Bledsoe
The title of this SHOULD be the greatest of all time.
+Jack Stewart that's the title of the Tom Brady video.
Joseph Vincent i know that. I just think Montana is better
+Joseph Vincent yeah joe is the goat
It's the Michael Jordan of foot us ?
LMAO Brady video should be titled "Mr. Choke." Giants, BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!
You put together an outstanding video; thank you.
Montana, Tom Brady's idol, 4-0 SB record, 0 INT's in those SB's, 5 time All-Pro, first 3X SB MVP (should've won 4X) came back from Back Surgery to lead his squad to 2 SB titles, greatest statistical post-season of any Qb in the SB era....THE REAL G.O.A.T.
Branon Fontaine yea but in the playoffs he lost most of the years so
Man. These videos are fantastic. The editing is phenomenal.

Huge part of my childhood. Made me think of teams like the 86 Giants, 85 Bears defense, the Hogs of Washington, Warren Moon and the three Amigos, The Icky Shuffle. Redskins had a WR core called the Posse. Elway beating the Browns. Good times.
Montana is the best QB ever you know it.
Gold Blooded MMA AGREED!!!! And Tom Brady is the greatest TOUCH FOOTBALL player ever!!!
Gold Blooded MMA you know Brady is with those 5 rings and a couple more to come
It's Also not touch football it's not like Brady and Montana were running backs they are qbs for goodness sake
I think Connor Stick has wet dreams about Tom Brady
element 115 hit the jack pot, Brady is the greatest touch football player lol
Awesome! Thanks Joseph
Joe Cool
The greatest football quarterback of all time joe montana
The Goat.
Josh Ramirez yup
Joe is my vote for best ever!!
G.O.A.T
I loved watching him play
Brady took 6 extra years to match. Against softer defenses.
Brady also beat arguable the greatest defense of all time in a 4th quarter comeback fashion in SB 49. Or did you forget that?
The Sentinel So Seattle came back from 10 points in the 4th qtr? stfu dumb ass
Brady has also faced way better defences
Greatest of all time.
The GOAT. If Joe would have had the benefit of modern medicine and rules - he'd have played as long as Brady and probably would have brought a couple of rings to KC. Scratch that - the Niners probably would have traded Young and not Montana.
Quality film, this channel is the greatest
NEVER THREW AN INT IN SUPER BOWLS WHEN A QB GOT HIT
Still think he's the GOAT so far. To me the W/L ratio matters a lot. 4 for 4. Anyone could win 10 Super Bowl if they play in 100 of them!
If you can get to 60 superbowls and have a 40-20 record in them are you telling me that that is more impressive than winning 4 out of 4?
The fact that Brady has been in more, also winning 4.. Is what makes his Super Bowl stats better. Yes he lost two close Super Bowls, but that's also two AFC championships that Joe had never won. And if Montana had gone to 6, he could also have a record of 4-2...
Jim Kelly couldn't...
:(
The goat
Shit makes my skin crawl, THE BEST EVER!
Robert G Brady is the 🐐
Jonathan Gonzalez y are u watching? Montana is the GOAT no doubt
Joe Montana is truly the number one quarterback in NFL history
Montana will always be the Greatest. Just getting to the Super bowl through that stacked NFC in the playoffs was a feat of itself. Now that Peyton Manning has retired what team in the AFC can challenge the Pats? That alone tells you how weak the AFC is. The NFC isn't much better. The league got what they wanted "Parity" that's turned the league into fielding mediocre product that's ripe for a offense with a great HC/QB combo to dominate because of rule changes that have stymied and made nearly impossible to build a shut down defense.
HitsTownUSA only teams I could see challenging them are KC Pittsburgh Oakland when healthy denver
HitsTownUSA Brady is way better 5 superbowls take that
The NFC powers in the last few years have been high quality: The Seahawks have been to 2 Super bowls, and they are a model franchise.
Connor Stick Brady is shit
The GOAT. To the extent that he could have thrown to an actual hooved goat for a superbowl winning TD.
U do realize in 6 of his 7 titles came with him leading the game winning drive right?

Going to see him in few hours. Helmet and jersey to be signed.
Greatest of all time
Montana never was intercepted in a Super Bowl unlike Brady, he also never lost a Super Bowl game

Went to a Bengals home game 1990 I think. Left early cause the game was no doubt over. The fans were giddy as we finally got revenge over two SB losses. Upon the throngs walking over highway concourse, a guy with transistor radio to his head said, 'we just lost'. I mean everyone laughed. It was that unbelievable. We were absolutely stunned as the truth slowly made it's way.

I always Joe, Montana was a beast on one of the all-time greats, but I’ve never seen how many dots. He’s thrown like Patrick Mahomes.
Montana is the greatest. When brady wins a Super Bowl again, I will reconsider. Until then, montana is the greatest. I don't care what decade. Montana is the greatest QB to ever live. If brady wins in 2017, I will gladly give him the throne.
Winning means being better?
brady has better stats. But he's not the champion montana is. So, yeah winning is better.
+Garth Nader keep in mind montanas time was brutal brady as good as he is today's modern football has brady protected like a golden baby I highly doubt he could last in the 80s

I grew up a 49ers fan, my dad was a die hard fan since they're coming into the NFL in 1946. I remember when Dallas beat the 49ers in 1970, 1971 and 1972 in the playoffs! Three years in a row twice in 70 and 71 it was the championship game, I waited 10 years for the 49ers to get back to the playoffs. Joe Montana erased those defeats that day at Candlestick Park, and if it was not for Eric Wright making that tackle the curse of Dallas would have kept going. Joe Montana is the G.O.A.T. and John Madden agreed.
