For those who don't know, Joey has Transverse Myelitis. It's a condition that affects the gray matter in your spine. It's extremely painful and often crippling. He was in and out of the hospital for a while, and the reason he left Slipknot, makes sense that he gained weight. It's amazing he's even walking on his own let alone playing. Good to see him ripping again. Fanboy or whatever you kids these days are calling it, I don't care. It's great to see a talented musician with an immense amount of skill and technicality on double kick overcome a crippling spinal disease and continue to do something they love. I have all the respect and love in the world for Joey Jordison. One of these best ever, and one of my all time favorites.

Sam's Tavern Saying its shitty may have been to harsh since I know there are a few people that like it, but compared to Scar The Martyr it is actually and for me personally Gray Chapter is a shitty album and no it was not their heaviest at that time since IOWA. Now I gotta ask you what are you smoking?? Their heaviest? That was probably the most radio friendly album they have ever made in their career. Even Vol3 was heavier then that album

SineMetu NonguamMortuus I know, it's not just the concept that he's leaving, I love the stage style he used in Slipknot and the whole brothers and family stuff I mentioned is that people need not to forget the actual music, like MFKR, their debut self-title album, Iowa, stuff like that was raw and built from the ground up. Joey was just a huge part of the music and the band itself, it just sucks to see him branch off on his own but I respect it and so does the band like CT and probably anyone else in the band

What I love about this album is that Joey laid down the drums as well as the rythm guitar. People say he is overrated but I think he is among the top as far as musicians go, he is extremely talented.

Hey i dont think corey is to blame at all. i see so many people give corey shit about being in two bands but jim root was in stone sour as well although he recently left. I believe that the reason behind slipknot firing joey is something personal, and the only facts that the fans know are that A) it was a group decision B) Joey did not want to leave the band C) the story will come out when its legally allowed. So until then as fans we should leave all speculation aside.
Joeys had a side project called Murder Dolls in the past and there was no issue, and guess what. Joey came back into Slipknot from that side-project so don't talk out your ass. Clearly there was a larger issue if Joey is no longer in Slipknot.
SLIPKNOT2015 Scar the Martyr may have been issue there, Joey got really into that band, he seemed bored at Slipknot concerts and was busting his ass off on STM concerts. Murder Dolls was a real side project because Slipknot was in first place, and this is more like his own band. I remember when everybody in Slipknot was ready to make a new record around late 2014 and Joey wasn't so sure, he wanted to tour with STM more - that could have been a big part of the whole problem. These are just my ideas, I'm not about spreading rumors.
