It's meant to sound dark and have often breakdowns to create a monstrously aggressive sound. However, They got their influences from the likes of Pantera and Deftones and other prominent metal bands of the times. You all have no rights to say whether it's real or not, because it just simply is. It's not for everyone, if you like it you're not Scene or emo or any stupid stereotype. you're whoever you are. I personally love listening to this while gaming or working out. I think the new singer is great. He's not the best live but he can improve. I hope this comment educates some of you :)

Honestly, I've had some doubts that I wouldn't like Eddie, but this video got rid of all those doubts. Eddie is almost exactly like Mitch, but at the same time, he's totally different. But he is what Suicide Silence needed, and their music is still as amazing as it was when Mitch was the lead singer.
I've been a Suicide Silence fan for about three years now, But I've never been like all of my deathcore friends that were absolutely obsessed with them. There are just other bands I like more. They're one of those bands I only listen to on shuffle. And when Mitch died, I had just seen them live a few months prior. I was upset, as I thought "wow... Even if they get a new vocalist, there is going to be no more of the Suicide Silence I know and love." I still listened to them just as often. I didn't like them any more or any less. But hearing this, hearing Eddie's voice... It's incredible. He is absolutely amazing. I won't go so far as to say he's more TALENTED, but his voice definitely appeals more to me. I fucking love this.
Eddie has much more range to his vocals than mitch did, mitch had the pure high's and decent lows IMO, Eddie just speaks out to me more than mitch did, and on top of that, i can sing this cause his vocals are more like mine ;D

Simply because the band owes its fans nothing. Music is personal. Personal doesn't necessarily include anyone else. I'm not saying the band TRIED to get famous or did what they did to get rich or anything. I'm not them and as such I don't know what their intentions were. But when you get down to it, WE made them famous of our own accord. WE bought their albums (occasionally and infrequently). WE went to their shows. WE bought their merchandise. But as most bands start out, I'd be willing to bet they have a passion and a fire and just as people grow over time, so do bands. The band owes us nothing and when a band starts doing things we don't care for, it's time to start listening to other bands that fit our preference. We made them famous. We didn't make the music for them and when we make the music, then we have the right to decide where their sound goes, because I guarantee you, they'll still write music whether or not we like the new stuff and they'd be writing music even if they weren't famous.

Make the musical change in direction, but don't deteriorate what's been built the past decade. Even the production on Doris was shit. The thing is, I am new to Suicide Silence and discovered it a few days ago. so I don't really know what type of stuff is going on but I do know that the passing of Mitch has made the start of a new era. I know that Eddie could never deliver what Mitch did but Eddie is amazing in his own way. Its just that people are afraid to change cause year after year, the same vocalists, bassists, and guitarists have stayed without any change and people are worried that the new Suicide Silence wont be able to deliver what the OG one did. Honestly, Eddie gets a lot of hate that he dosen't deserve. He is an amazing vocalist in my opinion. Now we just have to wait and see what they can do. I believe it'll be amazing as Eddie is an amazing vocalist.

I've been a Suicide Silence fan for about three years now, But I've never been like all of my deathcore friends that were absolutely obsessed with them. There are just other bands I like more. They're one of those bands I only listen to on shuffle. And when Mitch died, I had just seen them live a few months prior. I was upset, as I thought "wow... Even if they get a new vocalist, there is going to be no more of the Suicide Silence I know and love." I still listened to them just as often. I didn't like them any more or any less. But hearing this, hearing Eddie's voice... It's incredible. He is absolutely amazing. I won't go so far as to say he's more TALENTED, but his voice definitely appeals more to me. I fucking love this.
Personally I feel the exact opposite. I loooooved Mitch's vocals. This guy, he's good, but he is no Mitch Lucker lol
Eddie has much more range to his vocals than mitch did, mitch had the pure high's and decent lows IMO, Eddie just speaks out to me more than mitch did, and on top of that, i can sing this cause his vocals are more like mine ;D

Simply because the band owes its fans nothing. Music is personal. Personal doesn't necessarily include anyone else. I'm not saying the band TRIED to get famous or did what they did to get rich or anything. I'm not them and as such I don't know what their intentions were. But when you get down to it, WE made them famous of our own accord. WE bought their albums (occasionally and infrequently). WE went to their shows. WE bought their merchandise. But as most bands start out, I'd be willing to bet they have a passion and a fire and just as people grow over time, so do bands. The band owes us nothing and when a band starts doing things we don't care for, it's time to start listening to other bands that fit our preference. We made them famous. We didn't make the music for them and when we make the music, then we have the right to decide where their sound goes, because I guarantee you, they'll still write music whether or not we like the new stuff and they'd be writing music even if they weren't famous.

Make the musical change in direction, but don't deteriorate what's been built the past decade. Even the production on Doris was shit. The thing is, I am new to Suicide Silence and discovered it a few days ago. so I don't really know what type of stuff is going on but I do know that the passing of Mitch has made the start of a new era. I know that Eddie could never deliver what Mitch did but Eddie is amazing in his own way. Its just that people are afraid to change cause year after year, the same vocalists, bassists, and guitarists have stayed without any change and people are worried that the new Suicide Silence wont be able to deliver what the OG one did. Honestly, Eddie gets a lot of hate that he dosen't deserve. He is an amazing vocalist in my opinion. Now we just have to wait and see what they can do. I believe it'll be amazing as Eddie is an amazing vocalist.
