Just returned from a vacation in that area: Cha Am, Hua Hin, PKK and beaches in between. Even stayed in the little PKK hotel at the end of the beach where you stayed, climbed the mountain to the monastery, visited the air base (disappointed to see the golf course was baked brown). Enjoyed Ao Manao beach where the Japanese came ashore on Dec. 8 1941... all on the strength of your videos. Thanks.
I arrived back home yesterday from Hua Hin, 4:03 in and must admit I’m choking up seeing this😢 I so miss all my friends over there already, and will be back asap. The people of Hua Hin are truly amazing. Hopefully one day I can call this place home 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Personally I would have found it strange and disgraceful and would have lost all respect for him if he had of accepted money from the old gentleman or from anyone else of any age as a matter of fact.

Hua Hin has grown so much since I first visited 25 years ago, I think it has become more like Pattaya….the little cart that sells hamburgers isn’t lieing, they do have the best burgers in Hua Hin😋….ive had my condo there for a while but now I’m considering moving north, maybe the Surin area…..great video STL!

Your videos have been so helpful for me; I truly appreciate you for making them. Also so glad you spent some time in Woodstock and showcased Ped and the boys; Woodstock is my favourite by far (Rock Zone is also great, as you mentioned).

We are always using Hua Hin to be our base when traveling around in Thailand. Last time down from Hua Hin to Kao Lak, Phuket, Krabi, Koh Lanta and then back to Hua Hin. Then we flew from Hua Hin to Chiang Mai, Hong Song Loop, Golden Triangle, Seam Reap in Cambodia,and then Buri Ram, down to Jomtien and to Bangkok, 50 days travel 2023-2024, and we will do it again, Hua Hin is great 😊

I remember a night out there with an Irishman who called it Hoo-ah Hin, your reference to this was a nice reminder of that night. Top bloke he was. The cut to Al Pacino was nicely done too! 🤣 Love that the old gent flagged you down for a ride & you obliged. One of those 'Only in Thailand' moments that make it the special place it is. Again it reminded me of one of my own experiences where a bus which I thought was going to Hua Hin kicked me out at Pranburi. It was fairly late in the evening & the streets were mostly dark and this was before smartphones so I went into the only cafe / restaurant I could see that was open to ask about onward transport to Hua Hin. There were only Thais in there & none could speak any English (although a 'Rooney!' was mustered when I said I was from England) but I eventually managed to convey that I needed to get to HH, leading to 3 completely random people riding up-front in their pickup truck while I was put in the back with a load of Durian! I smiled the whole way there at the weirdness of the siutation and upon arrival in HH they wouldn't accept any money for the ride. A wonderful experience and counterbalance to a lot of the negativity that gets said about Thai people only wanting money. Thank you for the excellent video, I've saved it for future reference.
Personally not into 'bar life' either but after showing many aspects of Hua Hin in prev vids just felt with the proliferation of bars plus spreading out in new areas it was worth a look.
Travelled to many place in Thailand but this is my first trip to Hua Hin thanks for your video it has given me some excellent insight of where I can go and enjoy a drink and listen to some live music Booked a pool side room at the Initial Hotel looks like an exciting area

Outstanding walk around. Hua Hin was the first place that I stayed when I went to Thailand, and I always make it a point to visit there every time I visit that great land. So good to see that the nightlife is still going. Great place to chill out, with plenty to do during the day and night. Father Ted's has great food and an exceptional live music experience. And yes soi 80, is definitely like a slice of Pattaya was copied and pasted onto Hua Hin.

Great video, for me the road you turned down after BKP has the best stretch of expat bars in town. There's also a fantastic Thai restaurant next to Woodstock which stays open very late as bar workers go there when they finish work . I actually live behind the Windmill and Banana bar you rode past, you wouldn't know the bars are there as we get no noise issue. Cheers and Break and Run are in my opinion two great bars and good to watch sport. Clarity bar is the best in the Maldives, sadly a lot of the bars don't get customers

Good to see Job 2 Do still banging out the tunes. I think it was back in 2012, I was in Patong, in Molly Malones or Scruffy Murphy's (both of which have live music every night), and in he walked. Was treated to an impromptu performance of his mega hit in the most intimate of settings of a small pub, and a cold glass of beer.
That Maldives bar area is Wonderland 2 and behind where Cheers bar is located is Wonderland 3 but that's a bit quiet. Good work in going around all the main bar areas in HH.

I got to Hua Hin but got sick and had to stay in my room a few days, I did get out and I visited all those places. Great place to visit is H H
