I've been spending a few months in Thailand every winter since 2014 and plan on making it my homebase one day.

Thanks for sharing! This gave me a lot of options for our stay in Hua Hin in October/November this year! Been many times to Hua Hin, but never stayed on the south side of the city. And there are so many hidden gems to explore.

The national parks are cheap for thais cause government want to form a sense for nature and protectection and Thai inncome is so small in most cases (200-300 $ per month). Stay healthy please
