It’s hilarious because at this point she’s saying just try to sue me. The issue they have is if they do try to sue her that opens them wide open for a counter suit that they would horrifically loose. They know the legal financial and publicity wise loses would be insane. Part of why they would loose so bad in court because they broke so many Canadian laws and then live stream them admitting to it so in order to go after her they would have to put themselves under Canadian courts which yeah horrible idea for niji.

@@dragb9284Sue her for what? Copyright infringement on the Selen model? Unless there's real harm they shouldn't go after her for NDA or other contract terms, the negative PR of a lawsuit would exceed any benefit (maybe a cease and desist letter). If they're rational (usually a pretty safe bet at a billion dollar per year agency... usually those agencies don't create case studies on bad PR) they'll try and avoid further conflict.
Copyright protects tangible expressions of ideas, but you can't copyright an idea. That's how Palworld (probably) doesn't infringe on the Pokemon franchise (at least in the US, but probably many other countries, because copyright isn't meant to stifle creativity by giving monopolies on concepts). This model looks distinct enough to be a major uncertainty in any lawsuit.

How come you just put Kuro instead of Kurosanji or a shorter version of the company name? It was really confusing because I thought you were talking about K9Kuro from VShojo.
I got so excited and happy with all the references to her past self
- Is that new thing on her head supposed to be the new dragoon look, or is it still the birds?
- I feel like her hair gives a similar feel to Selene. The way it curves inward around her face reminds me of how Selene's headwings work, and the way it curves outward around her forehead it also similar. Plus, her new hair has feathers, and she's got a cowlick, similarly to Selene.
- The shape of the eyes are a lot more like Selene too. OH! Her pupils are vertical slits, like Selene, so there is also that.
- The hair clip feels more like a Selen reference too, because it's in the same spot as the Selene clip. I mean, Ghost as an X clip too but it's a different colour, in a different spot, and a lot wider, so it feels like a rather weak reference.
- She mentioned that her bandana is a tribute to her first avatar. So that must also be a reference. I don't really know what reference it's for though. Was that before Doki, or some alternate collar that Doki had?
- As for the smirk... I don't think that's a doki smirk. Like, she has to tilt her head to make it diagonal, it's a lot less wide, and the mouth tooth (not sure what the name is) really gives it a Selene feel.
Honestly, I really miss the perpetual doki smirk that was constantly just there. I always found that her most definining feature that made her stand out from all the other v-tubers, no one had a smile like that, and especially not a permanent one.
the "thing" is D.A.D (Doki Amber Doge), the counterpart to her irl dog, now made as a mascot.
