@@ShozubonGG_2426 I mean LAM didn't put much effort on making Vox New outfit recently which was after the whole Selen Fiasco. He didn't quit making commission for the Black company, but gave up the quality on making it look good. some of his other project were good compare to Vox.
People in chat were really confused when Doki mentioned not being as good a vtuber child as she wished and not being able to show her mama her efforts... I feel like a huge part of it is because she was kept from a lot of brand collabs and sponsorships with her old model, so like, her mama didn't have the pleasure of seeing a lot of successful merch of her vtuber child everywhere 😔

Damn, this "new" mama knows how to make a model. That neck part is kinda intimidating tho. Felt like I've seen it before, both in my nightmares and from watching a certain vtuber stream in the past.
I feel like her neck is a lil long, but I'm pretty critical so I think it's a bit crazy that's my only complaint .The rigging and everything is exceptional.

Between hiring her previous Mama and hiring an actual orchestra for the reveal BGM, Doki really made damn sure that this stream was undeniably amazing.
She certainly has That orchestra I'm sure was certainly not cheap, a massive congratulations to her for that.
I think i understand why doki feel that way, she never really acknowledge or interact with kamameshigogo when she is still a purple dragon, probably because the language barrier, but she also barely interacting with others on twitter in general. Looking at other vtuber, they really interact frequently with their mama, Ollie with LAM, or mika/michi with raijuunara. It's not surprising if doki feel bad when looking at other vtuber
well, it's never too late for her to start, if she wanted to!
Honestly I think those that have a lot of interaction with their mama/papa are the exception and not the norm: while I won't say I'm super up on most twitter interactions, I can only think of a couple who I know've interacted, let alone regularly.
@@NoOne42 Yeah, there's a few, like Pochi, LAM, Pako, Bettel's mama (i forgot the name) and maybe a couple others that are really active on interacting with the talents they created, then there are a couple that interact more sparsely, like kuroboshi and huke. But the majority barely interact aside from debuts/new outfit
@@NoOne42 It probably is the exception but just in ters of business. It is a good idea to keep the lines of communication open. I don't doubt Doki will hire her for more work like different clothing sets.
you know, until this video, I actually forgot that when you carry your vtuber identity, you are doing so not just as yourself but as a brand. A brand that represents everyone who becomes a part of your projects. So the success of the vtuber is also the success of the artist that made their likeness. I keep forgetting this until this clip.

This is just so brave of doki to do so. It is not easy to face your past the way doki does it especially with hiw things happened. Most would want a brand new start but her, she went and reclaimed everything back. She even wanted her past to be reflected on her present. Even the two scars on her arm. I don't know if I'm reading too much into it, but if you know, you know. She has become a true model of hardwork, perseverance, and courage and I'm proud to be one of the dragoons. o7

Only when they tried this on Selen, an angry mob of artists showed up waving receipts and shouting "Bitch, _YOU_ weren't paying us! Fuck outta here with that!"
I know kamameshigogo-san very happy to work with her. When before that big announcement, they make some tweets looking for her for months. Im so happy they finally work with her and keep in touch with her!

Top-of-the-line indie models will always higher quality than corporate models, because indie VTubers can spend as much as they like while corporate VTubers have to stay within a budget

I might be reading too much into her new model but the short hair fits so well. Like people trim their hair off as a sign that they've cut off the past,the bad memories,and started a new,better life. God Im so happy kamamesigogo mama agreed to do her model again since kamame-san really loves all of their children, like it or not even including a certain solar dragon that she drew pretty recently. Im glad that even though kamame-san has done a lot of commission work for niji it doesn't stop them from also working with doki despite everything. 💛💛💛💛 she just keeps winning!
It took some real bravery here. For Dkb to reach out to the artist, and the artist to accept her, practically burning the bridge between themself and one influential listed company. (And focus on influential because it will likely talk shit about them to other Japanese companies, lowering the reputation and possible opportunities.)

Yes, this will be the main model she uses going forwards. "Classic Doki" (her original model) will still be used occasionally for promotional stuff, but for all intensive purposes, this is the new form of Dokibird.

Poor Doki, you can tell how nervous she was due to saying "Um/Uh" almost every sentence during the stream. I do think a lot of VTubers have an issue with "vamping", being too vague, and beating around the bush too much, and overall being PAINFULLY introverted, but I am very glad to see she's taking back what is rightfully hers, and putting her own spin on the brand she built but didn't own.
