it's true that when plans don't plan out as expected, it often leads to the journey being much better than anticipated. This is often what keeps us cycling
Respect man! Zal je kanaal promoten, want je hebt echt te weinig volgers voor het geen wat je doet.
Great, Man!! I was stuck in Japan in 2020 and accomplished similar - bought second hand specialized mtb and cycled through Japan from south to north - impromptu. Memories for a lifetime!
Just watched your complete series of Africa cycling, it was really amazing. Thank you. For such lovely sceneries. Just started to watch your episode 1 of leaving home till Africa. ❤👍
Yes, in your age I began cycling "in the world". Freedom and frustration are often so near. The price of life is high but you learn to deal with it. Good fortune!
Later I got really sick and frzstrsted in many jobs but making a longer trip it made me sane again. Great now to use small cameras and drones to see beatiful sites . 💪
Such a wonderful video series! And I am very happy to see that you like my home region around Lüneburg. It is the most beautiful during heather blossom, but then you will surely see more poeople around. Greetings from a Lüneburger living in Delft :)
Ja, prachtig gefilmd! Je verdient véél meer abonnees! Dit is de tweede reis die ik van je ga volgen. Eerste was in de Balkan, dit ziet er ook uiterst avontuurlijk uit. Bedankt!
I hope that the Corona virus does not screw with your plans too much. I have to say however that planning a cycle tour in Iceland during march or april is brave. I live here and I ride all year round within Reykjavík on my Trek 920. But I would not plan a bike tour out into the countryside until mid may at the earliest. The weather is just too unpredictable until then. Outside of Reykjavík there is still snow, ice and winter conditions, especially in the north. A few have tried winter touring here in Iceland, and a few have had success, but the vast majority have had to alter their plans severely or scrap them altogether as they underestimated the harsh conditions. Best time to cycle tour in Iceland is from early june to mid august. The interior highlands start to open up in late june to early july.
@@BikeTouringMike kindest weather and most stable is late june to early august. You can still expect adverse weather during that time but these are the kindest weather wise. If you are planning on doing the highlands of Iceland, aim for mid july to early august. Do not go for an ultra light setup, pack warm, insulated, water and windproof. You could get lucky and not need it and have endless sunshine, but you can and most likely will get pouring rain, heavy wind and sometimes freezing night temperatures.
Wait what there's more of those cube apartments somewhere? At 1:18 there's brown cube apartments similart to the yellow ones in Rotterdam. I though they were unique in Rotterdam!
Hiii broooo. Wowwww first Good luck for your beautiful journey. I am enjoying your beautiful journey. Beautiful nature explore country beautiful. Love Netherland love from India 🇮🇳👍 take care bro 👍❤️❤️❤️ Bro and wich bike you use Trek dual sport byk??
Niels, you were wise to have someone guide you through Hamburg. It took me a couple of hours approaching the city from Lubeck before I found anyone who could help me find the bus/bike luggage pickup point, which I hadn't known about prior. I didn't have a smart phone and was travelling by the sun and wind direction. Leaving Hamburg was a tad more difficult, and it took me over 2 hours of asking around before I found anyone who had any idea of how to get out of the city by bicycle; everyone seemed to travel by car or public transport. Eventually I found a cyclist who I followed (on a wing and a prayer) towards Bremen direction Apeldoorn. Roma was a breeze in comparison, as was Napoli. Great filming and commentary from the start of your adventures, happy cycling adventures
Sorry to be so off topic but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost the password. I love any assistance you can offer me!
@Dax Zavier thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Absolutely well presented only thing wrong was too much music almost constantly even when you were speaking and anyone slightly deaf cannot hear you for the music, please keep the music to a minimum it would be much better. Too much music ruined it. 🚴
Underrated channel. Love this guy ☘️🐺☘️

Stay safe though
Yeah, looking back Iceland in April might have been a little ambitious. If I go to Iceland another year I should perhaps go a few months later.
Which month would be the best to do a bike tour in Iceland?

What about the last country, South Africa. Did something unfortunate happen to Niels?
What are you using for maps, navigation, cyclo comp and route planning?
Any inspiration from Johan? “See the World “

Thanks! I guess the future videos of Sweden (and maybe Norway) may be even nicer, with more nature and wilder landscapes.

You need a wind jacket for your camera reduces the wind noise and costs peanuts from Amazon
What about money? How much does a rtw tour cost?
