I got a full bianchi bike free. And I cleaned it up and it was in great shape not bad scrapes or dents. Just aired up the tires and same crank and it’s nice I have. I ride it and maybe change the tires soon mine is that green they use.
@@BruceChastain Yeah, thanks, Bruce, glad you had to work for it, lol. And you know I am cheerin' for you and I got a fun find late last year, a minty full-rigid '90s 26" Specialized Rockhopper Ultra with a small compact frame, almost BMX-like. And without putting too much into it, yet enough to make a difference such as modern BB and such, I think I'll make it gravel-event worthy, if only for the fun of riding a '90s mountain bike and mingling with modern bikes. 😀
That’s a nice bike , can’t wait to see it when you get it ready to go .
Nice. About rust, some say its already inside the metal, so the best chance probably is to avoid its growth by external factors.

nice!
nice bike - will be a cool project! see if you can get a better looking stem - that thing looks so clunky!
I was sort of thinking the same about the stem.
Okay, Bruce, I'm wondering if I'm happy for you or if you make me sick, getting a $25 Bianchi.
😀
lol, if it make ya feel any better I did have to drive over an hour each way to get it.

Repaint is expensive but since you got the thing for $25 it would be worth it to restore it proper.
I think I'm going to run it more or less as is for now, and if I really fall in love with it, I may do a 2nd build, but with more money involved.
Rust stuff and clear coat it
