It does. I am originally from Tashkent but now reside in Northern California. The climate and countryside around Sacramento are very similar to Tashkent (except for the occasional palm trees and lack of snow in the winter).

Uzbek plov is one of the most popular dishes in Russia. I, as a person born in the USSR, really miss the Central Asian flavor. I love Uzbekistan very much: Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara. The famous Asian hero and sage Khoja Nasreddin lived in Bukhara... although in fact many Asian countries dispute this :)

I think Uzbekistan is one of the beautiful countries in the world. The biggest problem is getting a visa. To me it’s very complicated. It’s not as easy as Kazakhstan. This is the reason why I am not going to Uzbekistan. I think more tourists will go to Uzbekistan if only the government will not as strict. Japan attracts a lot of tourists because Japan welcomes everybody. I hope that someday, Uzbekistan will open its door…it will be good for the economy of the country and people.
Culture and cuisine are very similar to Uyghur. I can imagine that Central Asian air, the smell of poplar trees... Very underrated destination for vacations!

Удивительно но столько людей до сих пор по русски говорят, даже молодежь. У вас потрясающий английский. Я так понимаю вы в Америке живёте. Вы даже земляк. Я с Челябинска, а 90-е в Екатеринбурге жила.

Uzbek plov is one of the most popular dishes in Russia. I, as a person born in the USSR, really miss the Central Asian flavor. I love Uzbekistan very much: Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara. The famous Asian hero and sage Khoja Nasreddin lived in Bukhara... although in fact many Asian countries dispute this :)

I think Uzbekistan is one of the beautiful countries in the world. The biggest problem is getting a visa. To me it’s very complicated. It’s not as easy as Kazakhstan. This is the reason why I am not going to Uzbekistan. I think more tourists will go to Uzbekistan if only the government will not as strict. Japan attracts a lot of tourists because Japan welcomes everybody. I hope that someday, Uzbekistan will open its door…it will be good for the economy of the country and people.
No it is not difficult. For 82 countries no visa is required. Look up for your country.

Culture and cuisine are very similar to Uyghur. I can imagine that Central Asian air, the smell of poplar trees... Very underrated destination for vacations!
