I don't know how 343 manages to just make every single update of Halo Infinite so disappointing. The game started out solid, but a little rocky. Now it's obvious that they can't just keep up with consistent good updates.
They should've released it as another Halo entry, self contained and full priced, instead of going for the whole 10 year live service.
Boy you said it, Jim bob!
Right I could care less about the game now 😕
Now it's obvious? We knew this before the game even released but instead we get called haters or bungie fanboys
They should have called it Halo 6. Avoid the confusion of the title. Or Halo: Noble Six or something.
Spending $40k and being able to ask a question at a Nintendo investor meeting is better than spending $20+k on Diablo Immortal gems!
And the dude can even get more money if lucky
I don’t know, the fella who spent 20k on DIG and the outrage video he uploaded was pure poetry.
Raising a beer for all the old Halo fans out there who have had their souls sucked out of their bodies from both the video game and that abomination of a TV show!
Hang in there fellas in another 5-6 years we might get a good halo game again... maybe...
Unless Microsoft liquidizes 343 into other dev teams and gives Halo to a competent team I wouldn't hold my breath
The only thing infinite is the pain nowadays.
@@thebadassgarcia7786 infinite disappointment!
That wasn't a tv show, it was a cereal box that had halo as a sponser and it just got wet and crumpled up into some mess but it still faintly said halo on the mush
After about 18 years of playing Halo, all the way back to Halo CE and Halo 2, I've just have had the conversation with myself that its about time to walk away. I'm not going to keep trying to hang on to Halo just for 343i and MS to bait me along thinking things are going to get better. Until they actually shake things up from the bottom up and stop prioritizing easy money over their community(unlikely) its just time to let them go and let them fail. But thats just what I've had to accept, personally.
FYI, if you vote or ask a question at a shareholder meeting, you don't lose your shares. They are not one time use. The guy made an investment, and happened to also be a fan that asked a question.

Amazon Necromancy was in one of the Black Mirror episodes. They, probably, stole that idea from there.
Amazon can't be serious with that project, can they?
Nah, naaahhh!!! I cant even fathom anyone thinking that's a good idea, not only is it creepy as fuck, it could be potentially detrimental to people going through losses, what the hell?!
Not only that, imagine the rise of more scams with this technology if someone reverse engineer it.
@@Deliveredmean42I can totally see a scammer using the voice of a dead relative to scam people. Holy crap that's so horrible I can't even think about it without getting mad
I posted a longer comment but I'll try to make this one short
When tech companies show off concepts and ideas they aren't necessarily aimed at American or western audiences, even though that is where most shows are held.
There are other nations that actually do things with their dead that Americans find disturbing and gross. For instance some nations don't bury their dead right away. In fact they will dress them up as if they are Alive doing their favorite thing like playing games or something. They will do this for days and sometimes keep the body like that in their own homes. Some even do it by having the dead person go through the day sitting at the dinner table, sitting outside, laying in bed, etc.
Also the concept Amazon has does have implications that have been talked about In a beneficial way for mental health of PTSD and other patients. Some parents may not want to forget what their child sounded like or hearing something from them they needed to hear and vise versa. It could help children who lost their parent(s) early on. Or even people who lost their SO. This has applications and benefits outside of just commercial use and outside of the mentality and ideals of most western society. A good example is VR. VR is not only used for gaming but medical purposes through learning, treating ptsd in the military, even nasal and SpaceX use vr now to simulate scenarios and the list goes on. Hell I even think listerine, asprine and viagra were made for other purposes than what they are known for now.
Fun fact vigra was trying to find something like a better pill for blood pressure. They discovered viagra by accident. Now just earlier this year they said they believe through trials that viagra is lowering men's blood pressure in some cases.
I think a lot of people would love the ability to hear their loved ones voice again speaking to them. Can it be used in a predatory fashion? Yes but that’s true of most new technologies. We have pictures and videos to already help us remember our dead loved ones I can see how it would be nice for a child to have their dead father still “read” to them. It may be strange and not comforting to some but I can see how it would be to others. My wife doesn’t have many audio recordings of her grandmother and she’s beginning to forget the sound of her voice and it’s very depressing to her. I’m sure she’d of liked to be able to take her couple small audio clips and actually hear more of her voice than her very small amount of words.
@@kirkvanallen5202 this is just disturbing. Stop it!
As someone who did free to play on fire emblem heroes, that game has systems that make you want to spend money via the confirmed display hero after 40 spins

I remember getting the original Xbox on release. A store had midnight release and my father toke me. I had no idea where we were going. It was school week. We arrived to the store and he bought me an Xbox. Since we where first in line we actually got two games for free. Amped (snowboard game) and Halo combat evolved. I remember the ride home. I had the game in my hands, awing how cool it looked. (I had only played Nintendo and aliens on ps1).
When we got home I hooked it up to the tv just 6 years old. Started halo and was hooked. I was only allowed 20 minutes to play then I was forced to sleep. I defended my ship from a creepy blue alien and his friends. Crashed on a big ring. Fast forward, halo 2 leaks earlier and My uncle sends me a pirated version of halo 2, french language. I have no idea what’s going on but I love the game. Halo 3 comes out, I play it all day long with my friends after school. Halo reach was the last one I loved. Everything else has been like a stab in the back. My childhood is full of fond memories of halo. A franchise that has literally been butchered. It’s a shame. I’m glad I didn’t buy infinite. Just knew it within my soul that it would be a shell of a game. I’m glad I have memories left of the good ol days.

I actually understand why someone would want something akin to the being able to feel close to loved one's again after death. But coming from Amazon...? Just a whole new level of disturbing...
I agree with Joe about transparency. Valve should have conveyed to steam deck users that a supply chain issue led to the decision being made to downgrade the PCIE for SSDs. However, Valve is also right... The difference is borderline negligible, especially for what the steam deck is mostly going to be used for.
What was that one horror movie about some idiots going into a forbidden area that has a flesh eating flowering plant that grows inside you and the flowers can even copy their voices to lure?
I feel like giving people 2 options, 1 full refund and return or 2 a small like $20 discount would've gone a longg way.
I don't see it being good for anyones mental state though
Exactly. It woulda been nice to know but, it won't make much difference. It'll probably affect install times a bit, but actual gaming wise it should be the same. And I'm probably gonna get one of these downgraded ones, my Deck is literally about to arrive.
Valve love discussing legal issues when it comes to controversy. *Cough* Defence of the Ancients. They probably just asked them if they were going to get into trouble
There's a mentality among some game fans that continuously badgering developers about something they want made (but the developers have no plans for) is helping. Many think that "If you keep asking them about it, they'll see the demand and it will happen". But while that may work for a smaller developer (maybe), corporate studios have pipelines, schedules, business plans. They aren't going to stop everything and start on a game for a niche audience. As much as I'd like to see a sequel to Gladius, it ain't gonna happen.
Nintendo heard about the desire for a more 'mature' Zelda after the Wind Waker debacle. But they still didn't deliver the Spaceworld 2000-like Zelda we actually wanted. Twilight Princess was okay, but still they fucked it up, even though at this one time, they kind of listened.
but it does though, look at shenmue 3, skate and im sure there more. it works, just not all the time.
They should be mature enough to ignore unreasonable demands and nicely explain their case.
@@ronuss And look how Shenmue 3 turned out.
seems like a very anecdotal analysis.
Its sad because 343 seems small compared to any major AAA game like Call of Duty. Its crazy to think a big game like Halo is being mistreated by a supposedly good studio
Maybe Amazon should try developing "human-like empathy" before it starts claiming that its products possess it.
😂🤘

Bungie did a good job of making the franchise great, 343 is doing a great job ruining that very same franchise.
Bad move by Valve. They're selling the Steam Deck to PC gamers and PC enthusiasts will pay an extra $500 for 10% increase in performance, they're going not notice every little change in their hardware.
Love you guys man I honestly believe y'all deserve more viewers and more subscribers. Love that you guys speak your mind no matter what trend takes over.
10:42 Being fair, Fire Emblem Heroes is fun. It respects the franchise and you can see the effort the developers put in the game. But it´s monetization system is really bad in my opinion.
As a former Fire Emblem Heroes player (never spent anything because the currency is overpriced), it's not the worst. But I'm thankful Nintendo still makes actual good Fire Emblem games, unlike other studios who just make the mobile one and leave it at that. I absolutely love Three Houses.

It’s been how many months and Halo Infinite still has desync issues. The only thing we have from 343 is “the devs will soon be ready to work on it”
Hopefully Paul and Josepth will put somthing togehter and make the game great 🤷♂️
I play Halo almost everyday and I fail to see these “de sync” issues some people talk about. Yes there’s high latency sometimes because population is low and you have to join overseas servers but not really a desync problem. Halos problem has always been lack of content not bugs.
@@LtW00dy It’s easier to notice in SWAT. It is very much a thing since 343 admitted that it is a problem.
@@TheSpongyMallard gotcha. Yea, I've noticed weird things obviously after playing for so long, but it's not as often to be a show stopper. Maybe out of 300 shots, 1 won't register so I can see why they are not prioritizing this.
@@LtW00dy For me it was all the small little problems piling up that made me uninstall the game. It’s like someone flicking your head once every couple of hours.
PCIE 3 X2 vs X4 is in theory a difference in halving the bandwidth. But that really is only true in theory, but in most cases loading in content is pulling random data which your SDD will never meet that speed limit.
I'll be completely honest here. I hate how people are passing out on the Steam Deck for a fucking small downgrade. Yes, Valve should've told people beforehand, but the downgrade is small and doesn't affect the core gameplay experience.
Well the Fire Emblem mobile game has been around for five years, so its not making the dirty money that say Candy Crush is. However, I do understand the sentiment about having concerns about he mobile market negatively affecting the core game business.
Mental image of new boss walking in and it's captain krunch and you know you're screwed.
I can't help it; I have to snark: "Crunch bad!" Immediately followed by: "Why game taking so long?" It's really more complicated than either side of that, of course, but it is funny.
I’m glad Sucker Punch are differentiating from just Sly Cooper and inFAMOUS. Even though Sly Cooper made my childhood on the PS Vita, I’m happy they’re not working on those franchises right now, and leaving them to rest for a few years.
That was fun. Thanks for the news!
Welcome back OJ really hope you had an amazing vacation!
Joe you gotta check out Sly Cooper.
Those games were amazing and had a very cool art style and gameplay loop that actually got better and more expansive as the games went on.
And IMO sly Cooper 3 has a whole pirate gameplay loop as well that was years ahead of assassins creed black flag and held up pretty well for what it was.
Fantastic series, though the first one did age a fair bit.
Sly 1 while different to the others still holds up. All them are amazing. Judy wish I could actually own copies instead of having to use the subscription system to play them.

Halo should have never released without splitscreen co-op. By the time it comes out it'll be almost a year since the game launched. I think they need to do some crunch if they're going to properly handle their flagship IP.
Whats funny is that actually Nintendo is the ORIGINAL mobile gaming company, with the GameBoy.
I feel like the gaming industry is in a recession. Fucking depressing

@@Quintessence4444 we already have good deep ai that does this. And you're scared now cause Amazon wants to use already existing tech in alexa.....???
I just like how ignorance goes hand in hand with fear. Like I said this tech already exists. The fears you have kinda already are happening but aren't that big of an issue and easy to catch and protective and preventative measures already being developed. Ontop of that psychologists have expressed great interest in the benefits stuff like this has for treating people with ptsd, anxiety, etc.
VR was feared at first. Then it was thought to only be good for games. Then it was expressed that it could help vets and active military with ptsd. People panicked and said it's just games and wouldn't help and putting these types of extreme ptsd cases back into situations that are meant to trigger them is dangerous and wrong........well they were proven wrong. VR has tremendously helped people suffering from ptsd. So much so the military is integrating the process into soldiers coming back from tours and those leaving the military along with better psych evaluations.
If we stopped progress just cause the majority is ignorant and scared then humanity wouldn't have developed things like penicillin(found on accident through trial and error), wouldn't have modern anatomy (davinci developed basically modern anatomy through practices that even professionals of the time feared and deemed wrong), we wouldn't have understandings of the universe like planetary orbits, gravity, televisions, nuclear energy, solar energy, the list goes on. These things were feared by many. Many have people to this day that exploit their use but others that use it for better intentions. Only Time will tell but letting fear dictate something like this just seems illogical at this point cause it's just avoiding the benefits this has all cause it's the cool thing to fear and or hate Amazon. Justified in some respects as the company keeps growing fast, but this tech has incredible applications outside of alexa

How did Joe not know Fire Emblem? Fire Emblem is like mother of all tactics like games.
Fyi, it took fire emblem heroes 5 years to make it billion. Mario kart 8 deluxe, only deluxe, not also the wiiu version, has already made almost 10 billion in sales in the dame time. So, just a little perspective.

@@moltres146 Mobile Game development is cheap to make. I would rather play on the gamecube than play a mobile game.
@@Vanished584 Even if they are easier to make, not all the developers have the intention of make a good game. A lot of the cellphone market have the sign of lazyness with microtransactions or directly titles with mechanics for auto-play. In fact, the worst types are games with a lot of spectator time.

Hearing angry Joe and other Joe talk smack on fire emblem heroes, while I'm playing said game to level up a character for an upcoming event.

Still love you Joe.
I do think that if the guy had fun with the game (for the fire emblem game) his review is fair. Obviously the micro transactions are shit, but Diablo Immortal has an alright gameplay. I don’t think it’s fair to say “He should’ve given it a 1” just because you read the micro transactions are bad.
It seems now a days that Joe has forgotten what just having fun is.
Thing about Fire Emblem Heroes: i won’t defend the micro transactions, nor their mobile games. However:
- the licences used in the successful mobile games (Fire Emblem, Mario Kart and to a lesser extent Animal Crossing) have major AAA outings on the Switch.
- Nintendo considers the overall success of mobile games rather tame, and have halted development on new games, and capitalising on the successful ones and shut down the others, such as Dr. Mario World.
So it’s rather unlikely all of this will affect the main development of the Switch games, I believe.
20:50 I wish companies would keep it real like that 😂😂😂

i don't see how halo was short. it was no different length wise than any previous game, hell it was longer than halo 3, and 4. Either way coop should be fun, and it also comes with reply missions and it keeps ur unlocks , so you can do say the first lvl again fully upgraded.

I figured they weren't working on one (I never believed any of those silly rumors, any Sly fan knows we get a new rumor every month) but it hurt to hear it nonetheless, especially since there are no plans for anyone to do anything with it. This February will mark 10 years since the last game...

Little dissapointing there won't be anything new for Infamous anytime soon. That game series would be a great showcase of the Dualsense controller!
The sad thing about Blizzard buying out Proletariat is that Proletariat are shutting down Spellbreak servers early next year. Which is a damn shame because even though it was a Battle Royale. It was a fun one with a gimmick that I'd love to see again.

What Valve and Joe said are both accurate: The difference between an SSD with x2 PCIe lanes and x4 PCIe lanes in this use case is basically imperceptible. But Joe is right in that the bigger issue is the lack of disclosure.
I think most people would've been totally okay if they got an email saying "Your thing will operate nearly 100% identically, we just don't want to delay production and shipment any more than you do".
Especially since they worked with PC and game reviewers to show off the handheld in detail pre-launch. You gotta keep trust up, Valve.
