  • This video is all about advanced sound design techniques with the Vermona Perfourmer Mk2. It's the follow-up to a video about basic Sound Design, which I recommend watching first if you're new to the instrument. It covers 3 techniques: FM, Sync and and the Sample and Hold LFO. Understanding how they work can bring up really inspiring and unique sounds, especially if you like experimental music.
The video is also the second part of a series dedicated to making sounds and music with the Perfourmer. Over the course of five videos, I will share basic and advanced tips for sound design, as well as three approaches to making full tracks using only sounds from the Perfourmer.
The main inspiration for this series has been the production and release of my new album "Morning Cycles," which was created entirely with sounds from the Perfourmer.

👆 If you like the sound, note that purchasing the album on Bandcamp gives you access to five additional tracks! It's also a sweet way of saying "thank you" if you enjoy this video series 👀

Great stuff, I use the oscillator lock a lot but i never thought about using the tuning knob to change the timbre, very cool!

Same, took me a while to learn about this option. There is quite some cool stuff to be explored with the controls on the left side :)

Thanks nice to see you again. I own the Vermona and have been making music with it hooked up to a Arturia Keystep Pro for multi channel sequencing. Incredible analog synth. Also to be able to hook effect pedals inserts on each voices is awesome. Thanks for the instructional take.

Thanks for sharing! I can imagine that it’s quite fun with the Keystep. Haven’t used the outputs as inserts yet because I don’t have external effects, but I agree that the outputs and connections are super powerful!
