thanks jannis, it's a really good point you're making, it's inspiring. it kinda reminds me of learning an irl instrument, where people are always saying to practice slowly. working this way in a daw feels similar, taking time to listen what's happening and not rush into detail and speed and so on.

How do you reduce the piano roll down to just BD & HH? (i.e., two notes)?
You need to click on "fold". It will fold the piano roll and show only the notes you selected.
