I'm so glad I stumbled across this video. What a fantastic tutorial. Although I don't necessarily understand what the filter decay does, the modulation of it made a huge difference. Thank you!
Thank you for the nice comment 😊 really glad you liked it! Filter decay is the time the filter envelope need from its most open point to the sustain level.
@@JannisLeWolff Thanks for the explanation. Makes sense. I think what really made this tutorial stand out from the rest is that you showed the parameter values. I knew these features existed, but by following along and inputting exactly what you're doing in the video made me try these tools for the first time. I really hope you do more of these tutorials on Syntakt and Digitakt.
Hi Jannis, what I really loved about this video was that you paused for a moment to give the viewer the settings that you were working with on each element. When I watch tutorials, I always get bogged down and, ultimately, distracted by designing the sounds (which is fun in itself) to get close to those in the video. Being able to see your settings really helped those of use who are more novice at creating electronic music. I've never seen another youtuber do this, you are the first. Thanks so much, the whole video was super helpful and gave me some knowledge that extends my skills to get better at making music. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to more tutorials using the Syntakt (or even other Elektron gear).
Thank you very much for sharing! It's really valuable for me to hear this type of feedback, so I can take it into account for future videos! And I'm super happy that you found some valuable information in this video 😊 Syntakt is my only Elektron machine, so I can't make videos right now about their other instruments, but who knows what comes up in the future 👀 Wishing you lots of fun making music!
Hi Jannis, thank you for sharing an excellent tutorial. Really helpful and well produced. Showing the settings pages for each sound was useful too. Very happy to hear you'll be making more Syntakt videos, I'll definitely be wathing them!
Thanks! I feel like the LFOs might be the most fun thing about the device. Could easily use 5 or more per track 😅 but I’m actually happy about any Limitation that forces you to think about what really matters.
Size and Prize 😅 but also because of the fact that it has a synth. I love synthesizers and wanted to have the option to create tracks and sounds from scratch with this one device, instead of having to manage samples. Maybe one day I'll look into the octatrack, too, since it looks like you can da fantastic things with it.
Thanks for watching 💚

Great stuff, again! Seems like you’re having fun exploring the Syntakt.
Thank you 💚 I would say so 😊
This is an inspiring video. I like what you did with the LFOs.

Wirklich gut erklärtes und gezeigtes Video. Selten on YT.
Vielen Dank für die lieben Worte 💚
Gerne. Wenn Du weiter solche Videos machst schaue ich gerne vorbei. Ich selber habe keinen Syntakt, die Herangehensweise ist aber klasse ;-)
Thank you so much for sharing the inspiration! Love videos like this, great skills and to the point. Cheers
Thank you so much 💚
Good stuff! Thanks for sharing this with us
Thank you, really glad you liked it!
Cool stuff. Thank you for showing some cool tricks
Thanks, glad you liked it 😊
Why did you chose this one over the Octatrack?
Size and Prize 😅 but also because of the fact that it has a synth. @@JannisLeWolff ah that difference wasn’t clear to me! Thanks for your reply. I also thought you had the digitakt
