You were never promised a next game and s1 was made without anything concrete to make a s2, the fact that no s2 was in production by the time it ended only know proves that it did better than expected and only gave it the greenlight after it aired and got the number. If a game were to come out it will probably be sometime after s2.
There are a lot of dormant Playstation IP's sitting around doing nothing. I'd like to see a new Twisted Metal as someone who never played it. But I've been asking for a new Jak & Daxter game since 2009

I thought the show was great and the additions of comedy and creative spinoff ideas made it a lot more watchable for regular people who might not know the show, other wize it would be very dark and gruesome.
