So... you destroyed the certification of the smoke alarm, thus voiding any insurance that relies on it's protection... and you are not allowed to have smoke alarms powered from the same circuit as other devices such as lights... win win.
This feature is in the manufacturers instructions it’s why they include the terminals. Having smoke detectors on a lighting circuit users are more likely to notice a fault with the circuit.

Again you are tampering with fire protection equipment, possibly endangering the lives of everyone in the building and voiding your insurance... DO NOT DO THIS.
Now that would be a nice option. Just not as a functional light just for when the alarms are going off and a delay over run. Even flash the light on the culprit if its multiple alarms and a false alarm as a subtle hint.

Fire Protection devices are intended to be their own circuits... however some Smoke Alarms may be equipped with a relay to control other circuits. These may be used to shut down appliances in the event of a fire or wired to a communication system such as a security alarm to transmit a fire condition to a monitoring station who will dispatch fire response. Tempering with fire safety equipment endangers all occupants, voids insurance, and can land you having to justify your actions to a judge... who will most likely not accept "I saw someone on UA-cam do it" as a defense.
Older ones contain a small amount of radioactive material, but they are moving to optical methods. Radioactive ones are already banned in sone countries.

Even if the manual says it's okay, if you put a shade on it, it'll definitely impair the detector's ability to detect smoke.
