- The blinking red light on a First Alert SC9120B/FF means the alarm needs to be reset by pressing the Test/Silence button. The green light means there is AC Power connected to the alarm.
I am surprised that the red light on the alarm was in sync with the music! Try it! Listen for the bell and look at the light.

Normally you just gotta run a test cycle and the indication usually resets
Actually, the red light mean got your smoke alarm has previously detected smoke or carbon monoxide. I hope this helps
By the way, the flash every 3-5 seconds on a First Alert Wireless alarm is low battery or testing, unless PLEASE SEE MANUEL, but on the model (SC9120B/FF), it detected smoke or it was previously activated by smoke
Please stop designing them so they go off every 30 minutes throughout the night. It only encourages people to remove batteries. False positives are not good. They desensitise and I now feel annoyed rather than alerted. I have had this with several different alarms.
Honestly I think this is a major safety issue which needs to be addressed more
How do you reset the light from blinking red I had mine go off and silenced it with the button and now it blinks red like the one that is in the video

Man earlier my dad just put new batterie’s in are smoke detector at home and it became green then it changed back to red and won’t turn back to green. Can somebody pls tell me what why this is happening Becuase this is just STUPID! God damnit I swear I HATE smoke detector’s! They pretty much cause nothing but DRAMA and I’m still hoping that this isn’t all only happening to me in my freaken neighborhood!

The smoke detector is rapping because the song wants it to see the manual and the detector is rapping about it so the red light means it’s the detectors turn to rap

I actually borrowed the manual from my uncle (the owner of that alarm) to see it was a fault. Had to push the test button to reset it

mine is flashing red but theres no smoke or anything battery was changed too
Red mean: fire alarm when off and need to be reset or that the batterie is low.
Green mean that the power is on
Flashing Green : mean need a test ( mine is a weekly test, so will flash green each week and I have to click on the test button)
I manually activated all my alarm one by one in my house as they are all connected with each other. After my alarm when off, I had a flashing red light. By doing the above, the green light was back on. Mine flash green every week to tell me to do a test. Otherwise it is a solide green light.

I replaced with new batteries 🔋 but the green light not blinking just steady ,so should blink or remain steady green ?
A steady green light means it’s good. If the green light is blinking that means the battery is low

I have no lights flashing at all all the time.Does that mean there is no battery in it
No it means everything is ok and ac power is on
It should flash every 30 seconds or so very quickly which means it's operating normally, if there is no light at all then you should definitely test it

The first one you got right, but the second one is false. Actually the green lights are used as fault or hush on 9120B models. SC9120B/FF models use the red light. To restate what normal green is, it means the power is connected

Yesterday I was playing with my toy cap gun. Do you know what those are? The smoke detectors went off and scared the shit out of my dogs
