Nice review, glad I watched. I really want one with the ability to download and have a viewable screen as a rear view since I've already been hit by a pickup truck.
You’re really doing the work on this and the other reviews. Thank you! I have looked at so many units from so many reviewers it’s all a blur. My biggest concern is long term support should a failure occur within a year or two. I purchased both the Chigee AIO-5 without the tpms & cameras and the non BMW Carpuride 702 to compare, and I find the screen is small on the Chigee AIO-5, especially with navigation like Rever or MyRoute-app. I am replacing a Zumo XT with CarPlay & navigation apps with downloaded maps. How was the rear camera on the Chigee? I’m considering getting a unit with cameras now that I’m seeing them in your reviews. Also have some older gloves that don’t have capacitive fingers. Thanks again!
Darn I had a feeling I forgot something on the Chigee vid! The rear is slightly grainy compared to the front but nothing bad, and better than most of the others. I haven't seen anything better let me put it that way. Yes the small size is a plus or minus depending on your mount location, bike and needs, that's for sure. Huge plus, here. As for longevity - these are really simple devices, personally I'm not concerned at all, and no one has ever reported any sort of mass problem with any type units or dashcams in the past. You need touch gloves for all of them.
This could be a tough one. Innovv makes some great dash cams! I bought several over the years. I still have to give the nod to the chigee because of the mounting system, and the dongle giving me access to my BMW whizzy wheel
nice to see your videos again!!..My '14 fjr hasn't move since 2018...any recommendations on what I should check, change, replace or lube before riding it? Hope to see you out there again
May I make a suggestion? If you are doing a series on these things, perhaps at the end of each review do a score board of where you rate it against the other products, perhaps rated against critical features or something of that nature? You hit really key points on these things and a summary against competitors would be nice :) Thank you!!
I thought the night video was much clearer than the daylight. That's weird. I use the K6 Innovv dash cam and the rear camera appears to be the same as this one - and it produces very good daytime images. Not sure what's up with the one you got..
Nothing is 'up with' the one I got. Daytime has a lot more detail to process and it shows in how much compression is applied and how fast the CPU is. The camera/sensor is also only 1/2 the equation. Your unit is a different processor.
For tyre pressure sensors (that fit on your valves) be careful, it seems that it is dangerous to use on soft/rubber valve stems as the sensors will make your valve stems fail (I checked things out for my FJR and decided to not take the risk. Be sure to read up on sensor vs valve-stems before buying/using.
I have gone over that in all previous reviews that have them. Some are safe with stock rubber stems some are not. Metal stems are always a good idea though. Because they didn’t include them, I can’t tell you anything about the innov sensors.
@@TwoWheelObsession Ah, thanks didn't realise you touched on sensors before. I was looking into the sensors because my FJR Explorer came with the Zumo nav and I almost bought a set before I found out about the rubber stem thing. In the end I switched over to the TomTom anyway because I was used to that and like that platform better. Great to see you back online again!
So glad you are doing this again, great video. This is so complete, informative and properly biased!
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent video, thanks for the info. Very thorough!
Very welcome!
Looking forward to the buyers guide. Cheers from the PNW!
Awesome, thank you!

After I do a few more I'll be starting a comprehensive buyers guide, which will have all the comparisons

Do you have to pay vat if ordering from china into uk?
The tire sensors for this are sold on the Innovv site for $89.
Hi, I also have the Innovv N1 Pro. Have you managed to connect it through the Innovv app to be able to download videos? I haven't been able to do it.
It does not support that. They removed features, from the N1. I went over that in the video.
hi there !
great video!
does INNOVV has speedometer like CHIGEE ??
No, it only has what I showed
Just watched you video of break in miles 9 yrs ago. How many miles do you have on it now?
This one just sky of 30k
Yep. Needed to go up in quality. I was on 720😅
...that'll do it ;)

so the screen go dim? I like to use it for back camera dash cam and keep it on while ridding so I can see who behind me
Yes, as I showed and said.
@@TwoWheelObsession is there a setting so it doesn't go dim?
No. As I explained it's from overheating. The same as your phone in direct sun on a hot day.
@@TwoWheelObsession Useless display, don't waste your money.
Horrible video quality and horrible display.
In day light it's impossible to see anything on the screen so I wonder how can you see the navigation???
Check out the Aoocci review ;)
