The yellow wire is vcc, connect to a switched wire so it only comes on when ignition is on. You can connec it with the red wire if no switched wire is available.
Good video mate. Helpful. I just got mine today, a W603D too. Yes, the camera mounts are sh1t and I have to modify one at least to fit correctly. I have an interesting situation with it; the cameras are working properly but the Front is the Rear and vice versa. I can't see anything in instructions to rectify it. The wires are connected Front to Front, etc. What do I need to do to fix it?
Been watching all of your reviews and appreciate your efforts. One question I keep having is what are you thoughts on long term exposure to the elements? I ride to work and the bike is parked outside for 10 hours a day. Any thoughts that the material and screen may be impacted by direct sun, etc? Thanks and cheers from the PNW.
@@TwoWheelObsession i would worry about the adhesives coming apart with continued exposure to the summer sun or damage to the electronics. Any of these units easily detachable?
Do you have any opinion on saving the recordings in case of a crash? Of course, I do not assume that you had one 🙂 But you know how the device works. The thing is that other cameras, without a Carplay screen, have a G sensor and secure the recording. In this device I’m not know if the recording will be saved. What do you think?
Good honest review! Looking into buying this one. Would you recommend this one over a generic Ali Express one? What do you get extra with going with Carpuride? Better support/warranty?
Some names on buildings were in reverse.... Common mistake I see in streaming from studios, first time from this type of device. A dash unit glitch? Or an editing issue? Thx.
This is interesting though i this is potentially a glitch. It might be important to find out for a complete review. Anyway, agreed this is unimportant for picture quality assessments. So is proper vertical camera orientation though... lol ;-)
Just a suggestion from some who’s followed your channel for a long time. It’s apparent you’re sponsored by these dash-cam manufactures. Unfortunately its extremely boring content. I know the typical response is, “well then dont watch”. My point is that your other, especially “how to” videos are vastly more entertaining.
Yes they sent them in for review - and I display such at the start of each vid. I'm almost done, one more to go then I start the Buyers Guide. I needed a good sample size for the comparisons. And don't forget content on UA-cam isn't only for subscribers of a channel. Many things are for anyone searching for things. When someone wants details or a review of one of these, it's here.

Great vid, again! Really enjoying this series you’re doing - thanks!
Glad to hear it!
What sd card do you reccomend, good video report.
These are what I use in all my devices amzn.to/3Pq4PBL
How were you able to switch the upside down camera image we saw at the beginning?
You rotate it

Just swap the connections

I wouldn’t worry at all. Many bikes have used the same screen tech for the last decade.

As I went over in the vid, no none are detachable.

Yes all these units have a g-sensor and lock automatically, any clips. You can also manually do so.

I'd say yeah, that's about the only difference.
Good review mate...Did you try putting in a larger 256gb memory card ?, did it work ?
No I don’t use 256 cards
Hi! Nice video :) Any idea when the Buyers's guide video will be ready?
Yes, soon. I have one more unit review, going up in a couple days. Then a couple days after that, the guide will.
At least with the connector wires sort u can remove the unit and then plug it on and off the bike for a anti theft solution
That will completely depend on how and where you mount it.
Was rear camera footage flipped L-R? Thx.
It could have been, I didn't pay attention to that. You can set it either way

Neither, I just didn't set it because it doesn't matter, when all I'm looking at is the picture quality.

Dude. You are way overthinking it. As I said, you can flip it in settings either way. There is no glitch. Just stop.
👌👌👌👌❤️❤️❤️
Could you please let us know if the screw holes on the back are in the AMPS standard pattern?
It is not

@@TwoWheelObsession I appreciate your response. It makes sense. I still love your channel and will continue to view your content. Thank you 🙏
@@TwoWheelObsessionI for one am appreciative of the boring content. Info dense and I need the buyers guide. Thanks bro
