    The draw to get a scatpack or hellcat is real. But damn man, you’re rt was looking amazing. Even if I had the money, it would’ve been tough decision to get rid of that car. That red, the legs and all those mods? Even the interior was proper.

      Yea man, it was a great car and I had a lot of fun with it. I just wanted more and it would have cost a lot more to build the engine and trans. If I didn’t get such a good deal on the hellcat I wouldn’t have even thought about doing it

    You can shave about 7-8k off the total cost if you can do installation yourself on all the parts, even with the tune being done at a performance shop with a Dyno, I spent about 8100 total for a full procharger kit, flat tappet Comp cam with stage 2 performance lifters, rockers and arms, bbk LTH with custom straight pipe put the back, lowered 1" in the front 2" in the rear sitting on 20's, a 3.90 lsd and a scooped hood. Granted I am a professional mech and have supplier lines but there is no reason you have to drop 14k+ to make an RT competitive against 392's and other similar engines. Now making well over 500 to the wheels and chasing that infamous

    I'd love to get a procharger. The one for my charger they said was a little over 7k so I'll be waiting a while. Is your engine stock on the internals? If so how is it holding Up? I was thinking when the time came maybe I should have the internals done first

      K 1500 it’s stock internals. It’s holding great. 7lbs of boost is what you get from a p1 and that’s perfect for 5.7 stock internals, any more boost you are looking at needing forged

    I do want to supercharge my R/T, but between cost of the car and the supercharger, we are almost at a used Hellcat territory. I just added the Eibach Sportline lowering springs. You in Hawaii?

Now its true that its better to mod the 5.6 rather than 6.4 but the most these mods will get u is beating a stock 392 but the chances you will ever race a stock 392 is extremely low, your gonna most likely be up against a modded 392 soo u should have just traded and got a 392, however

      Its not true to say with that modd he is in hellcat territory that true but not true. Had he traded he wouldnt get what he paid for his r/t on trade he proly get $15k to $20k depds on mileage etc. Assuming he not upside down he would need another $30k to get in that ball park.

      If you do both you will get a big gain. The long tubes help a lot. Especially if you plan to supercharge down the road.

    Wow, A nitrous kit is 500$ 7000$ will buy a lot of nitrous!
    I used to race Qualcomm in the 70’s . They had a drag strip and a track. I had a 72 Capri Full race.
    Ed Hale engine.
    Fastest car I’ve driven 93 FD3.
    Son just bought a Rt. 8 speed .Very nice car!

      Bro, I just bought a bolt that would fit the threading in the catch can-UPR catch can btw, and drilled a hole in that cross member then routed the hoses. Kinda made it work cuz I couldn’t put it in the regular spot due to the procharger taking all the space

    That's a nice setup you got there bud.. I'm planning on Pro charging my 15 Charger R/T Road and Track but first I want to get the motor built up, can, heads... fuel rails....a lot more but before I touch the motor I'm going to do my suspension and rear and some better wheels I have the 16 Scat Pack wheels 20x9 now but I'm not sure maybe I'll keep them as long as I can fit a nice tire on the back without rubbing... but yeah buddy I'm glad I ran into your channel I will definitely stay tuned and one I start on the motor work I'll try to post up some videos. BTW how much power is she kicking out at the wheels?

    I dont know much about boost but are the hemis internals stock or forged? I have a 2015 charger rt it feels powerful as it is but some more power would feel better!

      Mine were stock. They are safe for up to 7-8 psi of boost. It’s a big increase if you supercharge

      Hypereutectic pistons with a low tension ring pack, powder metal forged rods with cracked caps and a nodular iron crankshaft. You need to open up the ring gaps if you are going to put boost to it, plus add head studs and really good MLS head gaskets. Gasoline is ok but E85 is better to make the stock bottom live. The same techniques to boost a GM LS apply here....they're not that far apart in terms of design.

    Hey! I'd just like to ask for some info/advice. The car I want to ProCharge is a 2006 R/T Charger. The reason I want to do it is because it's the performance group edition and has the SRT interior for that model year which I love. In short i'm not going to buy a newer muscle car because this is something I plan on keeping for decades to come.
    Now, you ProCharged a 5.7L Chally, but my car has a 2010 5.7L, not a 2006. I purchased it that way. So i'm not sure what that means going forward. I've been doing research on the topic lately but this is still something I've never done before so i'm very hesitant on pulling the trigger on anything. Is there anything you can help me with as far as picking out the right supercharger or any other info that I likely don't know yet?

      I would def go with the procharger, you don’t have to change anything out and on 7-8lbs of boost with the safe tune from procharger that thing will last forever. I raced it hard for a few years and never had any issues. Now if you try to up the boost on a more than that on a 5.7 be prepared to forge everything and have a really good tune. Let me know if you have any specific questions but I think procharger is the best options for these cars

      @@MrEvilTag I ended up buying an SRT and putting a blower on it. Paid $9,500 for the car and $7,000 for the build. Made 525whp on 93 and i'm happy lol.
      I got less than $20k in a decently fast car.
      Thank god I sold that R/T. It didnt have the beefed up parts that the SRT has. Weaker transmission, worse rear gear ratio, worse suspension, and the motor is smaller.

    I just had my Turbo WS6 totaled and want a challenger. I drove both the 5.7 and 392. I am impressed with the 5.7 especially for daily and options on 2016+. The 392 are still mid 30+ but rt can be mid 20s. This will be a daily. So Is this much faster then a light bolt on 392 auto? Wonder if worth $10k or just start with 392. I read 5.7 is much safer to boost then 392? 2019 scat pack look like the sweet deal if had for $40k next year

      I have a video racing a stock 392 if you want to check it out. Yea I’ve heard the 392 is weaker than the 5.7. But they can both hold 7-8 psi. I drove my 5.7 hard and never had any problems

      Haven’t really looked into it. Just been keeping up with the stock setup. Changed to rotors out not too long ago and pads. They work fairly well. Bu you are right more hp means you need better stopping power as well. Maybe look into a brembo setup in the future

      It was 7-8. Yea no forged internals. It was fine on that much boost and a safe tune. Was gonna upgrade to a D1 and forge but found a hellcat for a good price instead

      SUPERCHALLY yea I couldn’t find a good price in nyc as there so overpriced used so I got a steal on a 2019 6.4 with 4K miles on it for 37 k. Pretty much stuck in it now so I was thinking going forged piston n rods and a pro charger but was thinking if I could get away with a low boost 6 psi for now

      Yea I’ve heard 392s will be good at 7psi. But that’s it no more. I guess the pistons are weaker. But if you go with the stock setup form procharger you will be fine the tune is super safe.

      Honestly man I think it would be fine. As long as you don’t go get a crazy tube and just use the one procharger gives you you will be ok. It’s a very fat tube just for that reason. As long as you aren’t redlining it at every stop light, I don’t think any car lasts under that circumstance lol

      It will never be the same car if you do the cam.. at least with the procharger it’s a bolt on option basically. Way easier to change back and drive ability is the same as stock unless you punch it. Even gas mileage was decent for what it is. If you do all that it will be fast. But never the same car. Just my thoughts

    How the hell u get any grip a gforce tires??? I'm running a 431ttstroker and can't hook with anything other then shitty drag radicals. Please tell me u have a built engine. I'm 684rhwp at 9lbs. Run out of fuel at 10lbs. If ur not forged are u broken yet? Nice ride bro.

      I just went with the basic setup from pro charger. 7-8 lbs of boost be safe all day especially with their tune. I had mine for 4 years and drove it like I stole it and had no issues

    So, I need to listen to ten minutes of dialog just to answer the question: PROCHARGER AND MOD COST ON CHALLENGER RT! WHAT DID I PAY?!!

      Idk I beat one, but it was just fun building it. I didn’t just drop 17g s into it at once. The challengers have come a long way if they had been like they are now back in 2012 i wouldn’t need to spend all that money
