FRIDGE FORD: Coyote & Godzilla-Swapped 1960 Ford F250 Fridge Crew Cab Trucks | EP37

- Don't let the rusty patina fool you, 'cause lurking underneath Roman's classic Ford trucks are clean and modern powerhouses. His 1960 Ford F250 Fridge crew cabs are more than meet the eye: Tank, a 4x4 powered by a 5.0L Ford Coyote engine with TKO five-speed Tremec manual transmission, and Bernie with its giant 7.3 Ford Godzilla engine with 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission. Nicole catches up with him in Huntington Beach to take these resto-modded beasts for a family drive up the canyon, where classic design meets modern muscle.

Love the " keep it crusty but make it trusty " look of these trucks !

'mommy, who's that strange lady under daddy's truck?' 'Oh that's just Old Mrs Johnson geeking out over diffs again'
It’s great to see appreciation for trucks built different in this day and age, and it being a family affair too, especially with better ideas and freedom oriented builds, greeting from Lebanon 😊
Been following Roman’s builds for quite a while and they are always so good! More importantly, beautiful family 🤘🏼Keep up the good work Nicole!
Thank you for watching...we appreciate your comment!!
I love that he saved the " requesting please park somewhere else " 🤣🤣🤣
Great how fondly this guy speaks about his father. 🙂 Cool trucks!

Nicole love these two trucks Roman did an excellent job two old trucks my age and still getting it done and making memories with the family .... Awesome Cool Beans
Thank you for the comment....we're so glad you like it!!
You’re trucks are great wish I still had my 74 ford f100 custom
Your dad sounds a lot like the "old Man" that runs this joint! Dude your collection is beautiful you can tell when a hunk of metal becomes part of the family almost like it "becomes alive" when it is introduced into a good "owner fam" .
Another interesting vid as usual. I have never owned a Ford in my life. At 76 I am finishing up my last car. A 66 Plymouth Fury with the Poly 318. Unintensional but had just about everything else plus foreign, Lotus, Bentley and all the vintage sports cars.
Nice....thank you for sharing with us!
What a great family!!!
This was a really good one Nicole, that is one happy & lucky family living the dream, "are you sure it's finished" just hilarious, oh my God that's one lucky man, woo hooo....Javi G. in Tucson, Az
Thank you...we're so glad you enjoyed watching!!
Great story, when I got married all I had was a 1970 Honda CB750. I had to trade it for a car. Had a 1970 Plymouth Duster. This was 1977. Oh, super cool trucks!
What a great story from father to son! Impressive! Greatings from Germany.
Thank you very much! We're glad you enjoyed watching!!
Cool truck 's, and that's Coyote sounds amazing!!😊 Nice video, Nicole
I can't watch this on my phone. I'll have to wait to watch on the big screen in the garage with my 63 F100!
Nicole, you never disappoint well done. I absolutely love watching your videos. Keep them coming.....
Thank you...we appreciate that!!
There is no show that makes me sit, grin, and chuckle like an idiot as much as this show! As usual, the "Like" button just doesn't capture how much I truly enjoy Nicole Jhonson's Detour!
Thank you so much!! All of us here at Detour sincerely appreciate that!!
Wouahou, i like this. They're fantastic.👍
Awesome...thank you for watching!!
I resisted starting to watch you because (honestly) I thought you were just a "pretty face." But I was wrong. You are a knowledgeable fan who happens to be pretty. All it took was watching this and the Pantera video to see that. Thank you for top notch content!
Thank you for the nice comment...much appreciated!!
Dear matthewcr...
I highly recommend to watch the video about the awesome light blue VW bug with the incredibly strong Subaru engine in it. After that you definitely know why I was hooked on! Misses Johnson is all natural.
Best regards, luck and health in particular.
That Coyote engine freakin’ sings!?! 👀
It sure does!!! Glad you like it!!
@@NicoleJohnsonsDetour When are you going to build a car Nicole?!?
Nicole?..i love this lady...very good Pilote...
Thank you!!
cool old trucks,thank you
We appreciate you watching...glad you like it!!
I love theses trucks and the vibe, I am going to have to make a 3D model of the lifted one, that's my style
Man, that was fun !! Perfect explanation about driving in the wet !! That dirty street water stains hard on a hot metal surface. Excellent work on both trucks. Looks like ya talked Roman's wife inta learnin how ta drive the beast !! And not a huge amount of freeplay in the steering wheel here !!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the nice comment!!
Awesome 😎 that limey from the UK. Oh boss uograded my 16.4 litre 730 to 770 bhp 🤘 doesn't matter where ya born...... petrol heads. Keep up the great work 👍
hello from Michigan... I love your videos
Great Content and dude was jacked..
Thank you so much for watching...glad you enjoyed it!!
👍👍👍
What a cool video… I drove my Uncle’s ‘67 F100 Ranger on the farm… and later I had a ‘69 F100 stepside, painted Corvette yellow… That I drove when I was 16. All of them were three on the tree. The only way to learn to drive… start driving a manual. Hard to beat Classic Ford pickups!🛻❤️💯
I don’t want to hear how clean his truck is. My grandson is driving mine right now. Because of the hurricane in Florida. And he lives down 3 miles of red clay road.
🙏😔🙏
So sorry for what you're going through in Florida. God Bless you and your family!!
I have never understood the rusty "rat" look. Cool car but I would spend a few extra $$$ to at least wrap it.
Thank you for the comment!!
Park in your damn driveway is not an unreasonable request.
Neither is mind your business.
