I received an SMS text from my GP asking me to go in for a regular liver blood test. I logged on and made an appointment. A couple of days later I started getting suggestions from UA-cam about Liver problems etc. THEY ARE WATCHING US. Thanks Brian.
I remember typing something on notepad in Windows and what I was typing about in that app was what began appearing on YT as ads. I once called a MS tech (of course in India) for an issue I was having and all the guy asked was "What's your MS email? Then he tells me to open a folder. As I'm doing that, my hand slipped off my palm rest pad - which caused me to accidentally make the cursor slide on the screen and hit an icon in the bottom task bar, That caused a "system sound" to happen. A second later, that same sound came through my phone too. So, that means all this guy needed was my email address and he was instantly hearing and seeing everything I was doing on my desktop. I didn't tell that guy anything at that moment, but in my mind that right there was my "Ohhh, Helllll No!! moment. So, that really means that any one of these MS techs - if they're bored can just randomly run through a list of accounts and can just log in and watch everything you're doing - and you'd never know it was happening. That's a real comforting thought if you happen to be a company lawyer and you're duty is to maintain "attorney-client-privilege" / secrecy - and yet MS can see all the legal documents and emails you're working for your client.

Agreed. I find it ironic that people complaining about privacy on UA-cam are to have a Google account in order to use the service! I just make sure my browsing history is disabled in my Google privacy settings, and regularly clean my local caches. About the Microsoft online account requirement. Did you know Apple an Apple ID to use their services? Sure, Apple don’t require you set one up immediately on install, and it’s separate from your local login account, but it is still required to use their services. My gripe with Microsoft is that they require one to be set up during install. Even then, it’s possible (on Pro editions and above at least) to dissociate this from your normal account, by creating a local account with different credentials, giving it appropriate permissions, then making the Microsoft account a standard account. That way, you can still access the Microsoft services from the local account. As for Linux advocates advising a move to Linux, this does little to solve the problem. In the desktop space in particular, Linux-based systems just can’t compete with either Microsoft or Apple.

No sir, we don't understand anything, because we are not educated enough. But we know what bad experience is.
Now as a troll and Linux user I guess. Now your spreading misinformation yes there is no privacy ONLINE but there is a difference between online privacy and OS base privacy. OS base privacy is when you didn't open a browser and looking at documents, picture, movie etc. there should be no telemetry there right I'm not online. On windows without a browser open, you have shit ton of connections in and out your pc on linux nothing except the update manager checking every now and then. micro S$$$$oft = Terror Organization
🤣
That is a ridicules statement. You are still using there OS 😂
@@Britec09 Yes, as well as the internet. And with the invention of AI, it's even easier for companies to track you.
LMAO 😂
How are those trojan's and spyware doing in the background hahaha!
And what about SATELITE SURVEILLANCE??
BIG BROTHER IS EVERYWHERE!!! YOU ARE NOT PRIVATE ANYWHERE!!!
DuckDuckGo advertises that they don't collect data as Google does
What they say and what they do is two different things
Britec, thanks for enchancing my fear. You should submit your video script for a movie :) Just kidding.
OK, so if I want to be completely safe and private, I better pack my bags and move to a deserted island!! or EVEN better, I'll go to Mars. P.S. NO ONE IS COMPLETELY PRIVATE ON this planet.
When a company relieves it's QA team, telemetry is the only way to monitor software runaways.
Of course, a user should not worry about paying for a beta software and a billion dollar industry running on the bad experiences of its users. No sir, we don't understand anything, because we are not educated enough. But we know what bad experience is.
I guess Those Evil Linux Users be hunting Britec down lol
why not block them trolls?
I do
Where are those troll's, never heard of them.
What do you mean, Linux is a two bob company and they have millions of users? What are you talking about?
with other word not much since microsoft love to controll people and wouldent suprise me if they make computer to turn off for meet the green deal
Now as a troll and Linux user I guess. Now your spreading misinformation yes there is no privacy ONLINE but there is a difference between online privacy and OS base privacy.
Online, everyone knows there is no such thing as privacy you can try VPN extension in your browser etc. but it's not 100%.
OS base privacy is when you didn't open a browser and looking at documents, picture, movie etc. there should be no telemetry there right I'm not online.
But with Microsoft even without being in a browser they know how many movies you watched how many document you viewed what you are doing on your pc and before you tell me that's not true they snitched on themselves not long ago when they said they were going to show only people that play games on there pc game ads oh sorry recommendations how do they know i play games?
On windows without a browser open, you have shit ton of connections in and out your pc on linux nothing except the update manager checking every now and then.
Look I personally choose Linux because I wanted my OS not online to respect my privacy and Microsoft wasn't doing that in my eyes.
If you're happy with the way Microsoft treats its user's then that's up to you but don't call us trolls because we give our opinions on stuff because now that makes you a troll and a Microsoft fanboy.
Switch to Linux
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💯💯🔥🔥AMEN!!!
SILLY VIDEO, useless video providing no solutions no value, and
I know of several solutions that are not comfortable but improve privacy, you should know by now that both security and privacy are a spectrum, not an off/on switch.
In this video, you are really whiny. It is believed that many of your videos are precisely about debloating and turning off trackers and data collection. It's no wonder people write comments about that. After all, you make money from these videos
the good seller always makes the money twice. First when sell you some kind of fast food. Second whey you come to buy some fat burning medicine )
You don't deserve a response, but I will. My channel is a tutorial channel on how to do thing. Does not mean you have to do them.
@@Britec09 again. If can't handle folkes comments. Dont do these kind of videos.
👍
Cheers
only true way to stay safe, don't par take
@britec09 people watch way to much tv/movies mate and also not very clever if they dont get the comments no matter they are or how many are what gets vids on a platform algorythm IYKYK love those so call trolls
