I agree - people nowadays are getting so caught up in “clean” eating at such a young age where just getting enough energy is important at that stage and making memories - make the most of your fast metabolism and energy needs at this age and enjoy the food you love - the decrease in stress will also massively help with bloating and overfixation on food

I was glad when you said you’re going to be flexible with how many nights out a week you’re going to have, all of these healthy habits are amazing, deffo keep going and don’t forget to live and let go and be a teenager. I said in a previous comment, progress is forgiving, life long and exists outside of routine. feeling a little bloated one morning is one grain of rice in a bag of thousands. Our cycles hormones and body’s natural processes have a lot to do with the way we feel too. I know it’s not a nice feeling at the time, but it doesn’t mean you’re not meeting your goals just because u had a couple of non-whole-food snacks after a certain time. You’re doing amazing xx

I need more self-discipline too, so what you have as your “rules” are very attainable. Love this!!! Fall is also my favorite season, my birthday month is October, and the season is just amazing. Leaves 🍁, pumpkin 🎃 spice anything, cooler nights, and cozy sweaters (and flannels) 😊

Hi I noticed in a lot of your videos you mention sugar free options or sugar free desserts. As a biochemist and med student I just wanted to let you know that these often are full of erythritol or stevia, which have been known to drastically increase your risk for cancer and heart disease.

Something I would recommend trying is forgetting the “physique” side of nutrition and instead focus on a performance goal (e.g, squat “x”kg, run “x” time for 5k) and fuel that training and your physique should naturally fall where it needs to. Often the stress and overemphasis on physique and nutrition can cause changes in hormones/digestion that aren’t favorable. Often you actually need a lot more energy than you think and when you start eating more the body begins to “trust” you and “lean” out. Also - regarding “clean” diets - firstly it comes down to 1. Getting enough energy; 2. Getting enough of each macronutrient 3. Getting enough of each micronutrient 4. Then quality - ultimately the body doesn’t know if the sugar came from starch digested from a sweet potato or sugar from a donut - its just the extra things like micronutrients and fiber that make the difference!! (P.s. i am a registered dietitian!)

eventually yes but currently im leaning towards a gap year and then college :)
Interesting that you seem to see balance and discipline as opposites.
i dont! sorry if it came off that way! but to me there are more balanced phases of life and there are more disciplined phases of life. when i lean into balance there tends to be less discipline in terms of my nutrition, sleep schedule etc. but as we go into fall a more disciplined routine (for me) means working on saying no to certain things occasionally that someone might consider a part of a "balanced life" because it doesn't help my goals. so even in this more disciplined phase, there's still balance, just a little more discipline. i hope that made sense :)
Not me thinking 'Cold stone' was a geographical place like a national park instead of an Ice cream place.. lol, sorry I'm from an European country, we do not have Cold stone here.
