Great video! I took a train from Budapest to Serbia 2 days before Vucic sealed the borders (Covid) and ended up spending 3 months there. Fantastic country and wonderful people!

My dream is to make a road trip all over the Balkan countries, starting from my home city here Athens Greece. I have only visited Bulgaria as a student, when I was very young, before the fall of communism and I have beautiful memories.

Gabriel, I had noticed that boy like to visit the churches, is very wise of you, I do that too, when I used to travel, any country that I was visiting my first stop was a church, for some reason I used to get in sit-down, and contemplate it's arquitecture, I believe gives u more inner peace, and more energy to continue the yourney. Maybe it would not be bad to follow the course of the Danube River through Serbia. This is because there are many beautiful archeological sites and cities along the Danube.
You should definitely revisit Zlatibor and see Tara national park, Uvac, Rača monastery and Šarganska osmica. It seems to me like you skipped some of the main attractions in the places you visited
Hey, Gabriel if you are really interested in monasteries you should definitely check one of the prettiest. Monasteries like Manasija, Visoki Dečani, Sopoćani, Studenica Monastery, Serbian Patriarchate of Peć, and others. You could Google them and see which maybe you could visit. Cheers. All the best :)

Flea Markets are cool. I especially liked the stand with machine parts, I never used industrial parts but I just like the way machines work. Its nice country side too.

Kruševac has nice sights which you have skipped it seems. It used to be a captial of Serbia in the 14th century, in fact one of our greatest rulers - Prince Lazar, ruled from there. There are remains of his fortress in the city centre, as well as a great church called Lazarica. Make sure you visit Ćele Kula (skull tower) in Niš.
You kinda REAAAALY need to knew where you are going and what you are going to see, because while there is a lot to see (nature and religious architecture, for historic reasons) signpostage is a crapshoot so it's not a place to just wander. Unless you enjoy talking with us locals.

Nice to see you around here :) We are following your trips for few years now and we enjoy them a lot :) As I am from Serbia (Northern part) I can recommend you to visit Palic Lake, Subotica, Sombor... on the way to here you can stop in Kanjiza or Senta for good fish stew on Tisa river :) (at the moment I don't know if you are vegetarian or not :D) As you like hiking, I can not believe that you didn't go to mountain top Midzor on Stara Planina (Old Mountain) and around there are about 80 watterfals hidden from tourists :) It is located in the Knjazevac municipality.
Before the scientists took over, there was a legend surrounding those stone figures in Devil's Town. Two houses from the same family wanted to marry brother and sister, an angel appeared during the ceremony and turned them all to stone. Another legend is that people who lived there have drunk the red water that you saw and lost their minds, they committed very bad things there that, again, an angel was sent down to punish them for their deeds. You are very close 45min of driving to Vrnjacka Banja which is a beautiful place and touristy center of Serbia. You should definitely visit it!
He is much closer to Soko Banja which is 10 times better then Vrnjacka Banja
