There is not land mines in Serbia, only some small part in Croatia and Bosnia, and you will see the warrning signs :).Only land mine you could find on that place where you was walking today is mine made by the cow or bear.
2.1 % (1000 km2) of the whole Bosnia and Herzegovina is covered in land mines,on 8.525 different locations. Number of suspected leftover mines is somewhere around 80.000. Such a shame that you've missed all of the best spots. Banjska Stena is a breathtaking viewpoint. It takes about 30 minutes of walking from that bear statue, if you're in a good shape, ofc. The train tracks you were by are for the Shargan 8 (Šarganska osmica) train ride. It's an old fashioned train that runes trough the mountain and the tracks look like the number 8. It's like from a fairytale and it also stops at various viewpoints for you to get out and admire the nature a bit more. It only runs a few times a day, that's probably why that spot was empty, the train must have set off not to long ago before you arrived, or maybe it was closed due covid.

Another great video Serbia
A good tip is downloading the offline map area on the google maps app of places you plan to go where the connection may be spotty.
It comes in handy and you can easily delete it when youre done. It’s saved me many times, but that was before I had T-mobile
The app 'maps.me' is a good one too. It works offline.
The name of the river has reminded me of The Bridge on the Drina, the book by Ivo Andrić (Nobel Prize in Literature). Apparently, there is the mock-town Andrićgrad not far from Drvengrad, in Bosnia. Also by Kusturica.

Hi Gabriel, Interesting drive into the unknown it's seems when you take these types of trips you find some interesting places to see. I like the scene when you went to open the door it seems like sometimes you forget where you are like there abandon places. It's always the journey that transcends you.
That view point on mitrovac ( banjska stena ) is amazing btw 👌
Great video Gabriel! Hope you enjoyed Serbia 😍✌🏼
Actually pretty solid music in tube content. Impressed.
You obviously missed some nice views on Tara mountain... Google Banjska Stena for example. Zlatibor is not a nice and calm place anymore, it become too urban.
beautiful country and incredibly good people
In the 9th century AD Cyrillic script was developted and commissioned at the lake of Ohrid by Clement of Ohrid. (I know that you planned to go to Macedonia where the lake of Ohrid is located). Couple of hundred years later Russians adopted Cyrillic script. So Cyrillic script is actually comming from area you are now visiting and not from Russia. You will not find anything writen in Russian language in Serbia.

Glad you likr my home country. Hello from Melbourne
you must visit kruševac, it is a historical city
Next video.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos i have family members there from my mother side . I am from slovenia
It's really good i like rich places like that
Like always great
oh i visited that Jarevac place on Tara but it was winter and it was amazing. personally, i think Tara is more popular in winter because it's not so urbanized so people looking for real winter vacation visit this place. Perućac lake is more popular in summer tho. Tara is a real mountain, luckily its not yet turned into urban place with expensive hotels and spas, like Zlatibor or Kopaonik. nice vlogs, btw
Love ur videos ....anxiously waiting for ur next adventure...❤️🙏🏻
You should also visit Kopaonik national park, it is very beautiful and has a very high elevation. While going there make sure to stop at the small town Raška (you can sleepover here for cheap if you don't want to spend insane amounts of money on Kopaonik), visit the old monastery Pavlica which is nearby. It was built in the 11th century. Also Studenica (12th century) is nearby, visit that one also.

@@Benidorm167 No worries, I suspected a grammatical malfunction was at work.
Oak Fire near Willits was contained due to less winds and drop in temps. Hopefully they will hold the line on it.
I hope so. I heard that Brooktrails was evacuated.
Hey Gabe, I can’t remember if I mentioned but if you go somewhere for a long stay try Airbnb. Top tip: if you put in a monthly stay and move the map around the globe on Airbnb you’ll find top stays for $100-$300 a month! I had to rub my eyes cus I thought I was dreaming lol
Yeah I've made use of that a couple times just out of curiosity, but I never stay in one place for a month. Maybe one of these days.
Jordan Peterson staying in Serbia too for his treatment, I hope he gets well soon. Can't wait for him to come back to Canada. What a beautiful place !!!!!!
@Popcorn Seller Thank you so much for the update. Love Jordan Peterson
