Ellyka is a Tiefling by the mountain path who you can have a short talk with before she decides to leave. You see her again dead in the Githyanki crèche there is no way to save this one. So a single tea leaf will always die no matter what.
I played as origin Karlach in a honor run when I got the achievement saving all tieflings (and it wasn't even intentional). I didn't even do Arka vs Sazza scene or saving Nadira from bugbear assassin, I also didn't save the kid from harpies. Didn't trigger those scenes at all. You practically only have to focus on Rolan, Lia, Cal make sure they make it to Last Light (at least that Rolan is in LL). After talking to him, before you enter the deeper part of the shadow curse, you have to save him from two shadows quickly. Then rescue the prisoners at moonrise, rescue Zevlor in the mindflayer colony before ketheric fight. Oh yeah ofc saving Arabella from the druids. All this as far as I recall at least. And ofc make sure Rolan doesn't die in loroakan fight. I also ignored talking to isobel there so at least nobody would die for sure. You only don't get a permanent necrotic resistance buff if ignoring isobel. So, you would take a bit more damage from stuff in act 2 (myrkul fight for one, and oliver fight (oliver's legendary action is quite something haha don't have your party grouped up together). With necrotic resistance buff you take significantly less damage from it, but talking to isobel means risking a lot and can't afford that, so it's better to just ignore her.
Fun fact, you DONT need to save the child from Harpies, the bugbear assassination target, or Zevlor from the Dead Three to pop the achievement. ALL of them died on my first playthrough and the achievement popped at the credits
I got the save the tie flings achievement on my first playthrough, and I never went to the harpies because I didn't know about that area. I learned about it from videos while I was still finishing act three. It mightve been interesting to see if you could've still gotten the achievement if you never went up to that telescope area at all.
i did the karlach romance first try on my first ever run lmao. just left wyll at camp and never talked to him the entire time because i would only interact with the three in my party at the time
This was one of the trophies I accidentally god on my 2nd playthrough and made my brother stopped playing out of jealousy because he didn't have Mattis in Last Light Inn.
I somehow got the achievement on my first playthrough despite definitely not saving Zevlor. I just didn't notice the room he was in AT ALL so I guess as long as I didn't directly kill him, the game took that as him being "saved."
Finally got this achievement yesterday after restarting multiple times because Arka or Akra whatever kept dying. Decided to try anyway and got it. Edit- also let Gale kill the final boss and skipped the act 3 companion quest cause i was trying to speed run this shit. Still talked to the tieflings in act 3 though
Fun fact arka does not count as she will die no matter what. And Mirkon does not count if you never meet him before he dies . What does mess a lot of people up though is if zevlor is summoned in the final battle and dies it ruins the achievement
You don't even have to climb that hill to save her from the bugbear if you walk around there is a path that leads like right up to it and it will auto place you in turn based mode when u get close enough, OR you can like...blow him up for something and get extra damage from stealth
Hm? I always have high approval rating with wyll and ive literally never seen any of his romance adjacent cutscenes. There are so many in act 1 with a really random feeling priority. Especially if you do a lot of stuff before a long rest
here is the bonus tip for yall to make combat easier. get a barbarian in your party you can use karlach or just morf any character you want in to this does not matter. what does matter you wanna make a berserker barbarian, and on lvl 4 you take the tavern brawler feat and lvl 8 you take alert. you wanna have Strenght and dex both as high as they go. and constituion as a dumb stat. and then you get your hands on the pike of returning and the throwing damage ring from the grove and then the monk gloves from the bibberbang mission by saving the husband. and your build is done. there are extra rings and stuff you can stack to make more damage elemental and such but all you really need is 3 items and the lvl 4 character. at best you can throw 3 timer per turn and the pike does just aburd damage. like so much that when its the barbarians turn 150hp bar is nothing you can litteraly just murder them. its not optimized in anyway. i just staked bunch of damage items and this is how i play usually. yeet the spear.
Funnily enough i got both of these achivments by accident in my first complete playthrough. I was playing your friendly neighbourhood bard and generally tried to helped everyone. I wasnt actively trying to keep them all alive, it just happend Edit: wyll also joined me and karlach in avernus, but she did not give him a cigar
Hmm... that moment when you don’t think about all these achievements and accidentally get both of them on your first playthrough. I didn’t even know they were so rare. Lol.
I somehow got this achievment on my first run even though I never ended up finding Zevlor in act 2. I dont know if this was a bug but I guess I dont need to worry about the tieflings anymore.
I know I might be late to the party, but I found out during one of my playthroughs of the game that Maydira (step two) does not need to be saved for the achievement. I couldn't tell you why but she got killed in my playthrough, and then I proceeded to do most of the other tiefling quests. I then got the achievement when I reached the end.
The last time i tried this at Last light inn, the only character to die was Alfira... Just randomly one of those winged horrors ran over there and just one shot her!
If your playing a "good" playthrough that saves the grove , saving all of them is extremely easy. During the standoff at the gate, enemies can be picked off from your vantage point without taking any damage.
I'm on a tactician playthrough and wanted to save the tieflings while at it. And damn I was being way too paranoid with some of them as I thought if I don't heal the tiefling in that small locked up shack next to the jail I would lose the achievement as that tiefling can't walk so I assumed she would end up dead? But I guess she doesn't end up mattering even tho I can feel good about myself healing her ability to walk after Ethel's potion
Fun fact about Rolan: If you save the tieflings from prison first, he will STILL RUN OFF TO "SAVE" THEM. I belatedly learned this on one campaign and had no idea how long ago he had left, so his dead body was just rotting there.
Sorry for your loss, but hopefully this knowledge can spare someone out there a reload 👊

This was one of the trophies I accidentally god on my 2nd playthrough and made my brother stopped playing out of jealousy because he didn't have Mattis in Last Light Inn.
5:10 still sells her soul to Raphael
I somehow got the achievement on my first playthrough despite definitely not saving Zevlor. I just didn't notice the room he was in AT ALL so I guess as long as I didn't directly kill him, the game took that as him being "saved."
Finally got this achievement yesterday after restarting multiple times because Arka or Akra whatever kept dying. Decided to try anyway and got it.
Edit- also let Gale kill the final boss and skipped the act 3 companion quest cause i was trying to speed run this shit. Still talked to the tieflings in act 3 though
Arka does not count for the achievement she will die outside the goblin camp no matter the dialogue
there is a way to skip the shar temple puzzle with the maze. go to the left, through the locked door
"Wait do I have tits" is so freaking funny to me 😂😂😂😂
Fun fact arka does not count as she will die no matter what. And Mirkon does not count if you never meet him before he dies . What does mess a lot of people up though is if zevlor is summoned in the final battle and dies it ruins the achievement
On my first playthrough Karlack's scene got overwritten by Wyll but I also got the save the tieflings achievement even though many tieflings died
You get infernal iron at Grymforge in the Underdark
I did this with wyll, and karlach !!!
You don't even have to climb that hill to save her from the bugbear if you walk around there is a path that leads like right up to it and it will auto place you in turn based mode when u get close enough, OR you can like...blow him up for something and get extra damage from stealth
You can just kill all the moonrise guards before releasing the Tieflings. Makes that part and the big moonrise fight much easier.
Hm? I always have high approval rating with wyll and ive literally never seen any of his romance adjacent cutscenes. There are so many in act 1 with a really random feeling priority. Especially if you do a lot of stuff before a long rest
they've fixed it recently but in old patches it was horrible how horny every companion was.
Honestly, I fixed the few issues there were with Wyll by long resting more often - but I also never got his dance scene.
19:11 monks have evasion which lets them negate damage on a successful saving throw
the fact that i did this two on my last playthrough without knowing it's actually hard for some people
Mol saves her life, but loses her soul.
And if you destroy the grove, she dies anyway.
You can get her contract in the house of hope
here is the bonus tip for yall to make combat easier. get a barbarian in your party you can use karlach or just morf any character you want in to this does not matter.
what does matter you wanna make a berserker barbarian, and on lvl 4 you take the tavern brawler feat and lvl 8 you take alert.
you wanna have Strenght and dex both as high as they go. and constituion as a dumb stat. and then you get your hands on the pike of returning and the throwing damage ring from the grove and then the monk gloves from the bibberbang mission by saving the husband. and your build is done. there are extra rings and stuff you can stack to make more damage elemental and such but all you really need is 3 items and the lvl 4 character. at best you can throw 3 timer per turn and the pike does just aburd damage. like so much that when its the barbarians turn 150hp bar is nothing you can litteraly just murder them. its not optimized in anyway. i just staked bunch of damage items and this is how i play usually. yeet the spear.
Funnily enough i got both of these achivments by accident in my first complete playthrough.
I was playing your friendly neighbourhood bard and generally tried to helped everyone. I wasnt actively trying to keep them all alive, it just happend
Edit: wyll also joined me and karlach in avernus, but she did not give him a cigar
Hmm... that moment when you don’t think about all these achievements and accidentally get both of them on your first playthrough.
At least you don’t have to save Arabella’s parents (who are also tieflings), because I don’t know if that’s even possible.
Save scumming rn thank you 😭
thank you, this was amazing
no you are \m/
@@JoystickJournalYT that just got u a sub, btw do you know if my chances are fkd if I don't lay with karlach right after the gobs?
I legit did this achievement a few days ago by accident and I didn’t even save the big bear assanination
Fun Fact, since patch seven. The "elevator of death" shortcut has now been patched out
I managed to do this in my very first run. The easiest Achievement for me and my playstyle, I "never" miss this one.
PS: OBV I did it with no guide
The game tries so hard to kill the gnomes and tieflings.
This makes me want to do an evil play through oath breaker paladin and just kill all the teiflings
