This is how you customize hard surfaces like Wood, Metal, Mugs and more
How to apply OKI 8432 DigiitalHeat FX transfers to mugs:
1. Download complete instructions from colmanandcompa...
2. Heat Mug Press to 265 degrees and set for normal pressure
3. Apply transfer to mug using heat tape
4. Place mug into mug heat press for 180 seconds
5. When the time has elapsed, carefully remove the mug from the heat press and place it in a safe place to completely cool down. Always peel the transfer paper cold. If you peel the transfer paper while the mug is still warm, you will experience toner loss and the transfer paper won’t fully peel off the mug.
Finishing Process:
1. Ensure your oven is preheated to 375°F. You will not be using your heat press for the finishing step when using the EZ Peel Hard Surface transfer paper.
2. When your oven is preheated, carefully place the substrate in the oven. Bake/finish the substrate in the oven for half the time you used in the transfer step.
Other items you can press would be:
- Wood - Metal - Glass - Mirrors - Tiles - Coasters - etc

Can I use a brother printer and print with this transfer sheet?
Why is my graphic smearing when I print it? I am using the EZ peel hard paper, the 8432 HeatFX printer and I have the print settings correct for the paperweight.
Hi Maryann! Our support team isn't available to answer specific questions on UA-cam. You can put in a support ticket online support.coldesi.com/ or give them a call at 877-793-3278
So you don't need the powder glue like dtf, do you have to cure it before you put it on the wood or other surface?
Correct! This is White Toner Printing. Not Inkjet!
Question? sublimation printers don't print white. The images show white as part of the design. Is the white coming from the paper?
Hi LoveBirds Lane! This is NOT sublimation! This is white toner printing with the DigitalHeat FX System. So these printers do indeed print white AND black!
@@ColDesiColman Thank you so much for the clarification. Did some research, a bit of a cost to get started. Would take awhile to make up the cost for a start up.
Couple of questions. Do you print using a regular inkjet printer or do you need a sublimation printer? Can this method be used on ANYTHING like items that are not sublimation blanks? I want to be sure I am understanding everything correctly.
This is printed using a white toner printer (digitalheatfx.com) and those can be applied to almost any material. It does not require a sublimation blank and can be applied to both light and dark colors.
You may use a inkjet printer that has the correct printer head and has not been used for anything other than sublimation ink. Most common is Epson printers, due to price point.
i printed on wood slices for ornaments but there was so much moisture, is there something i was supposed to do before i printed on the wood?
Hey Dina - you should get support to give you any tips - support@coldesi.com
Is it the same ink as dtf?
No this uses toner not ink.
washdisher safe?
Will this peel and can you feel the edges of the transfer?
It depends on the material
What if I don't have a heat press can I use a regular iron
No, Sofia, we do NOT recommend that. You won't get the consistent pressure and temperature from a regular iron.
DTF film print on paper
This methd caters better to volume printing because of the oven curing, really. Would you fire up an oven for one mug? Don't think so.
Depends on how much you're getting paid for it! :)
Will it work with cast acrylic?
It does stick to acrylic! The tough part is making sure the acrylic does not melt or warp under the heat press.
