    Tip: after it's pressed you should stretch it out a little. This will train it to be more flexible and making it not crack. Good video.

    Are you using the ink that comes with the printer to print on the HTP ? Or do you order special ink? If I heard correctly you are using regular ink that is shipped monthly ( ink you would use for everyday printing in a home office - is that correct?
    Love your videos by the way you make it look so easy !

      I have an HP printer and the same HP ink plan. You have to keep your printer plugged in at all times so that they can keep track of when your printer starts running low on ink. When mine starts running low, HP seems me an email letting me know that my cartridges are on the way. I love not having to go purchase ink. They mail it right to me.

    Highly recommend getting a cricut explore air 2 or similar. Use it for contour cutting around the design. It is faster than cutting by hand in most cases, and more accurate, especially for those cuts you need to do in the middle of the design.

    good video man! I find with the fuzzy edges, I take a Sharpie and run it around the edge to colour them in black (or whatever) and when you press it, the Sharpie ink holds too. I have 11X17 sheets but often don't use the whole sheet. I can hand the off cuts to kids and let them draw whatever they want on them with Sharpies and press those too. I have an Epson Ecotank ET-7750. for all 5 inks, it costs about $100 but you get SO MANY prints from it. We're talking probably 200 full colour 8X10s. Best of all, when you buy this particular printer, it comes with 2 full sets of ink!!. So right off the hop you're good for a long time.

    Hi, I have just found your channel and really appreciate your content. Two questions: 1. If you are just doing this on a small scale for your kids, can an iron be used instead of a heat press? If so, do you have any advice? 2. Do you have a link for the Neenah 3G that is for light garments? Thank you!

      What paper brand was used?

    • @mimimdyer
      @mimimdyer 4 роки тому

      Because you are peeling off the back of the paper and that is sticky, you put the design right side up. Most other heat transfer papers are printed with the design side on the material and therefor you need to invert the design - otherwise it will read backwards.
