I made it it was pretty decent. The matcha jelly had a really strong flavor so it needed to be eaten with the creamy almond milk jelly to balance it out but it was tasty once you do if you like matcha of course which I do. However the syrup is the thing that really tied the dish together with slightly sour notes to counter the strong earthiness and sweetness of the almond/matcha and surger/honey. My one note is perhaps the the osmanthus needs to be ground before added to the dish because the texture was a little off in my opinion. However with the leftovers I will make wine. Over all I would recommend you try it at least once if you have the ingredients avaliable like I did. Doesn't take too long to make and the worst that could happen is your jelly doesn't set. I recommend you have a food thermometer on hand to avoid such situations.

Personally I think 4 grams is not enough and my milk jelly was barely set and definitely did not have the consistency of tofu. 1 gram for the matcha jelly was fine and firmed up quite nicely after I got it in the fridge however. Try it yourself see how it turns out before following my advice however as I'm petty sure you don't wanna eat a brick if 4 grams would work out for you normally.
Made it today! It is absolutely delicious!!! I used almond milk instead of milk. The gentle almond taste with the sweetness of the osmanthus flowers… Very delicious! Thank you for the recipe Mori-san!!!
did you add in any almond powder to the milk at all? i am lactose intolerant and would like to make this dish, but i wasn’t sure if i should just use almond milk, or if i should add almond powder to soy milk.
@@strwberryymin9796 I'm also lactose intolerant haha... I use almond milk to make it. I basically replace the volume of milk and water by almond milk. To increase the almond flavor I also add a few drops of concentrated almond flavor. It works well for me!

Actually I'm about to make it myself. Honestly it doesn't seem that hard this isn't even tofu in the traditional sense it's more like jello and you have to be a really bad cook to screw up jello. If anything this is more about attaining the right ingredients and where to locate them however I happened to have them all on hand.

Delightful! Absolutely gorgeous and delicious! It looks beautiful and creamy, whipped nicely and stirred stiffly. Looks good… would try definitely! Even the mixing is so efficient, the pouring is so gentle, I could watch forever! 💞
