LOL, I literally just had a mug of this same broth, and I'm in Australia. Years ago, I went vegetarian, then vegan - as I have celiac (autoimmune) disease. The vegan diet did me harm. I tried Keto with good results, but the diet slipped when the lockdowns began, and my health declined. I started the carnivore diet two weeks ago (foods from only animals - mainly grass fed beef). It sounded crazy when I did Keto - but when you look at the research it isn't. People have cured a lot of auto-immune diseases, arthritis and depression on the carnivore diet. As well as supplying everything the body needs, if you do it correctly (its easy) - it removes all plants - and thus all potential plant toxins - of which there are many. Look at people's comments and vlogs on curing their ailments on the many carnivore videos... Lots of vids on YT on that. It can also be used as an 'exclusion' diet to reset the gut and body, and you can reintroduce other foods gradually to see if there is a particular one that doesn't agree with you.
If you look at the studies on the original Inuit (Eskimos) people - they ate only blubber, seal meat and fish - they had zero disease.
I have a playlist called 'carnivore' with some research - or you can type in your autoimmune disease and carnivore into YT to see what you find. Best of health.

What a coincidence that you just drank this bone broth! BTW, it seems we have a lot in common in terms of dietary choices. Like you, I did vegetarian & vegan diet (for 5 years and half) and it ruined my health and my auto-immune disease got exploded. At the end, I was almost bed-ridden. So I switched to Keto and it improved my health a lot. Then I also tried carnivore as an experiment but it didn't work out for me. So I am currently sticking to my modified version of Keto diet because it's a life savor for me. Anyway, I hope you can get benefits from your carnivore experiment. I know some people are getting great benefits from it and maybe you could be one of them.

@Robert Arnold I've spent a lot of time looking into the science and research. Like most things, we have been lied to about diet too. There are literally zero deficiencies encountered on a grass-fed beef / carnivore diet. Infact, if you look on UA-cam for doctors and scientists lectures on the subject - you may find comments from many ex-vegans transitioning to carnivore to regain their health! The diet is the normal way of life of indigenous people such as the Massai in Africa. When I was vegan my health crashed - vegans often take b12 injections. If you look at the science and the many testimonials from people doing carnivore over 10 years - you will see this is the case. The only supplements you may need are trace minerals to simulate natural and clean river or stream water - as tap water is often low-quality. There is absolutely nothing missing from the carnivore diet in terms of nutrients, vitamins and minerals - and many are far higher density than plant-based diets. Look at the actual research from scientists. It's all available - an entirely plant-based diet ruined my health.

@@TheRecluseeee thanks. My roots are Scottish - in the last ice-age Scotland was under a lot of ice - why the Glen's are so beautiful there. So my ancestry may indicate that carnivore will work out - so far I've had no issues. I'm giving it 3 months to reset my gut, then will continue, or possibly revert to keto,

Are you going to use any of probiotics supplement during those 3 months of carnivore diet?

@@TheRecluseeee Yes, I am taking probiotics. During the lockdowns in Australia, my diet went way off - my tummy needs help to re-balance my gut biomes. I'm also taking beef organ-meat supplements, and will be incorporating liver etc. in my diet. Luckily I have a good local organic grass-fed beef farm nearby, so I can get good-quality meat that's not via a supermarket.

Would not chicken bone soup be as good , as it's very thick when home made , and it's very 'oily' by mouth feel .
Same broth could be made from beef bones or lamb bones , as these also produce thick greasy looking liquid broth .
Other items can be added to suit , such as herbs , spices , which have now additional healing benifits .
If to much is made , freeze it , in cubes , and use as needed .

In my personal experience, beef bone broth seems to work much better than chicken bone broth.

Any opinions on high polyphenolic olive oil for improving autoimmune disease symptoms? I think it's helped my gi and gum irritation.

As long as it helps with your symptoms, keep using it. Autoimmune disease differs per each person. :)

Where do you buy your lambs? Does sourcing make a lot of difference in lambs in terms of healing property?

@@TheRecluseeee definitely. always go for grass fed grass finish when possible
sourcing is a pain for me as well im from hk so i can only buy imports. mostly those labeled grass fed from new zealand.

    • @TheRecluseeee

That's a pain indeed. Even in America, sourcing is a tough task but in HK, I imagine it'd be even tougher.
