I am into food storage for the future! I pressure can my own food, I dehydrate herbs and green drinks, and have fermented pickles and condiments! So far this is paying off!

1. Honey, 2. Rice, 3. Dried Beans,4. Canned Meats, 5.Salt,6. Pasta,

I am glad I live in the country. We keep bees,grow vegetables, fruit, and herbs. We hunt,forage, and fish. Amaranth is easy to grow and a good substitute for many grains. Sunchokes are a good survival food and it grows for free as it is a native plant in America. People in cities are in real trouble. Because they don't know how to survive. Two things that will determine life or death is adaptation and how calm you are.Learn to do things.

I've stored peanut butter for MUCH longer than what they're saying here. In my dark, cool, dry basement it lasts perfectly for up to SIX years.
In Tibet they preserve pork for 40 or 60 years.😊

Where I live you can't have basements. No one will build them due to how hard the soil is as it damages construction equipment, but if I could, believe me I would.

If you have rice, pasta and tomato sauces you can make anything to sustain you. And maybe many kind of beans.
