The day my Dad died I sat out front of my childhood home, while it snowed. I played this on repeat until I stopped crying. I just wanted to be a kid again and run in that house, I had no idea who lives in it. This song got me through some really dark days in my life. ✌️♥️🎶
Wow! In the Light!! Light, light light.... in the light...Beautiful story...
This song helped me when my Dad died also, It’s been 14 years now and I still come to this song.
This is a masterpiece on an album full of them.and a once in a generation talent among many.........
There's not a bad song in their entire catalog. Keep digging in and thanks for the great reactions.
This has always been one of Zeppelins sleeper songs that everyone forgets about until you hear it, then your mouth drops open and you say wow, incredible. John Paul Jones don’t forget about him, he shines bright in this song
A fellow Sellers! I don’t run into many, figures you’d be into Zep. Must be in the genes. I wish you good fortune my brother 🌜💨💚
Almost this whole album is like that with the exception of Kashmir. I played it to death back in the day, a year or so ago pulled it out for a spin, and every song my brain is going oh yeah I remember this song,..........its fantastic lol
Criminally underrated track
Never get bored of hearing this ever. Forgotten masterpiece
It's so good it's almost painful to listen to for him. It's an incredible song that I just love. I love it. It's almost bittersweet for me to listen to. I have no one to share my load on this Earth.
Love your channel but you acted like the monster under the bed was coming to get you!!!! 😂
It’s all about the buzz. And then the crunch.
Physical Graffiti is such an underrated album. It covers YEARS of the recordings they did but that didn't get on the albums. This really needs to be played from beginning to end in one sitting.
You looked like you were waiting for the other shoe to drop.
A definite Zep sleeper. Maybe because it doesn't ebb and flow like most of their songs. It's more like a Suite.....of tension and release. Not really a tune for many a neutral or casual Zep listener, I'd say.
Zeps most progressive song.....JPJ masterpiece. Jimmy playing with the cello bow at the opening, one of three Zep studio recordings that included the bow.
Pretty sure the bow isn’t used on this one. That’s a drone from the mellotron.
@@BBaldwin He does play the bow. Check Song Facts.
@@tektoniks_architects I was always under the understanding the third song was “In The Evening”, but I guess that was a gizmo on that intro.
Is Jhon Paul Jones.
JPJ.
Biggest deepest rabbit hole in music
Brother has a nervous twitch about him during this song....badabing!🤣
It really helps once you stop the video, to back it up five or six seconds before starting it again, there are key changes which need to be anticipated Within the Music, that's otherwise easily missed.
Love your reactions man ! You should listen to “ the girl I love she got long black wavy hair” BBC Sessions by Led Zeppelin
So many Great songs on physical graffiti, I Love, “The Rover”, and have fun “Boogie with Stu”
One of their best songs.
Looked like you enjoyed the song.
How does it compare to Kashmir?
This could be Zep’s #1 ? Definitely, a Blue Chip.
This is when I wish I had an open line of communication to ask Robert Plant when, why and how and to who this song was written to? It's a beautiful song.
🤗 This entire Album kicks butt. 😁 Memories of tossing it on and having homework done by the time it finished. 😳 Oh man, 😉 just realized Zep, Queen, Bowie, Stones, The Monkees & Pink Floyd were my unofficial babysitters! 🤯 Not even joking! 👉🏻🐰
I told you you can't be objectively talking about a personal top 10 unless you listen to the entire catalog. And as far as I'm concerned that top 10 could be an any given day kind of thing. Because different Led Zeppelin songs will effect you in different ways on different days and in different moods. Presently I'm really digging I'm Gonna Crawl off of in through the out door and I was never really into it up until recently.
Nobody else was writing at this level in 1974 except jazz artists. These guys were just musically way out in front of everyone else.
One of my favorite songs on The Physical Graffiti Album.
… The look on you face said it all.😄
turn it up
Aha , you just stepped into advan ed Zeppelinogy , " Tea for One " next ..
That's how they do it that's just how they do it dude it just moves around in your brain
This was a black light poster tune back in the stoned age.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
It's not a single bed Zeppelin song that's all I can say
It looks like you got possessed by this song. You were in the light.
Must react to in my time of dying from the same album Gabriel can I blow your horn as the song goes
Uh sure ?
That's so about 95% of their songs are
It's smooth music..
I love this song.
Does it hurt your ears?
You seem a great guy, enjoy Yr weekend, not sure if y enjoyed that song, looking at Yr reaction especially when the band come in on the verses, it's very weird and ever so druggy, but it's one of the best songs on p graffiti, be good enjoy yr journey
JPJ tearing it up.
😂😂😂😂 OMG! 🤗 Best reaction ever! I grew up doing homework (JHS & HS) to this Album and truly forget the effects this band, Rush, PF, Bowie & Queen had on us as kids! 🤯 Our minds were blown but after 2 Years 🤷🏿♀️ you know you should be finished with Spanish Homework by the end of this song. 🥰 Love your reaction to 1 of my favorite Zep songs that don't get reacted to that often. 😒 Maybe cause it weirds people out! 😂🤣😂🐰
Zepplin will take you place's that you thought never existed, that's just part of the ride, hold on you're in for a bumpy ride my friend.
Great reaction to a beautiful song. Well done!
One of my favorites from PG.
One of my favorites ever!
The other version of in the light is a jam
