September Salmon on Tillamook Bay in Our Jeff Spira "Tillamook" Dory

We get too busy with other things to go fishing as often as we'd like, but on this sunny September day, we put all else aside and made the 30-mile drive to Garabaldi on Tillamook Bay.
Serious salmon fishers go out early. I guess we're not serious, because we don't get going until the day begins to warm. But we have fun, and we occasionally catch fish. Well, maybe not 'we'.

All siding boards on my dirt floor shop are up and waiting for battens to cover the gaps. Resawing 2x8s would be quick and easy, but first I made a repair to one of my sawmill modifications. When you've seen one batten nailed on, you've seen 'em all. I sped that part up 20X. I guess that's the same effect as time lapse.
