I also don’t understand your criticism how hard the writers try to get you to like Abby. They’re not doing it for the sake of you liking her, they’re building a fleshed out character. You liking her is a reaction you had yourself. Plenty of people hated her regardless haha

How else would Abby have plausibly had a lead on Joel’s location, you say it’s lazy writing but don’t offer any suggestions of how they should’ve done it. Obviously it’s a crazy coincidence, but if you want realistic then she just would’ve never found him. I think it’s a fine way for it to happen. People always want things to be realistic and it’s just not possible to progress a story with every coincidence making perfect sense, unless you want like an 80 hour story

I didn’t like the planets. There was too much shit on koboh, not enough everywhere else. Fallen order had planets I care about, and content was fairly evenly distributed.

I like the game a lot, but regarding antagonists... Sure we all had high expectations Dagan would be a formidable adversary, and he was; but we also were made to believe that Cal was captured and I at least expected much more story from the Senator of Utapau, until I realized Respawn was toying with us as much as Cal with the Senator. there was never a capture, but an infiltration plan. Loved how the story went with all characters (it really doesn't seem SW in Disney era), including those I've still not mentioned like Cordova (yes a surprise, but a good one, it makes all sense he's part of this installment, as de facto he was never said to have died while we played Fallen Order), Cere (seems a little overpowered for games purpose when she faces Vader or Vader makes a fool out of her letting her think she had a chance, until he starts to have some real issues during the fight - now is Vader "downgraded" for game sake and let Cere think she' with the upper hand or is it Cere really overpowered? The only reason to justify it is in fact game appeal, as honestly Cere does not seem to be "material" to really take on Vader, although she's a powerful jedi and the fact that she's now in peace with her pass, having lost her fears as she stated; guess the next game will show us, hopefully, Cal surpassing Cere's abilities both with the force and with the lightsaber), Merrin, the opposite character she portrayed in Fallen Order, mature, confident, I would say also in peace and in a mission: save others as she was a child and could not have saved her sisters from Grievous. It's not a surprise but it's pleasant to watch that respawn listen to their consumers and joined her with Cal without being over melodramatic or trivial, it's a great story... but I'll wait for the 3rd installment to open my mouth further. Cal drew her from the darkness, on survivor is she who saves Cal of losing himself, although we all expected and wanted to see Cal tap on the Dark side - maybe he will not need it in the future as he grows as a new "unchained" jedi. For last I left one that is in my opinion the less interesting character: Bode. From the first moment he interacts with call and all the suffocating mission in Coruscant, I always suspected for him to be the true antagonist: the way Respawn tried to made it so much loveable (almost like imposing it on the players to like Bode) betrayed, or not, Respaw (I'm not inside of what "endgame" they wanted: if to redflag Bode or to try to surprise us, or both depending on people/players psychological traits); that was something there surely not right, and during the game my suspicions always grew, so I was not surprised to see Dagan Gera being destroyed at 60, 70% of game completion, as Gera worked a lot like a mirror to Cal, showing how a jedi can fall so deep because of it's obsessions taking over (a jedi or anyone else), so at the point he died he already had fulfilled his role. Thus, it was the so needed confirmation I needed to know another and likely more dangerous antagonist was yet to come, and in my mind that antagonist couldn't be no one else than Bode - is daughter was always his obsession (he almost treated her not like a sentient being, but like an object, parents are protective but choosing for her child a life of seclusion rather of uncertainty, the way life's unveils itself, is a bit on the sick and pathological side of a mind even for a parent) and source of fear - and that just adds up to why I never liked Bode and from the start suspect he would be "the bad guy". A tremendous game and pretty decent history with pretty decent characters backgrounds on the upper side. Great video! Hope the third one at least matches the story of the 2 jedi games already released. Cheers!

im still disappointed by this game, people hyped it up to Elden Ring levels when only the castle itself wss impressive for me..gameplay, story, and the rest of the open world were all boring (Coming from a huge HP fan)

My main issues with the game: The game drops off dramatically after the first hours. There are way too many collectibles without any impact or even fun behind it. You just run around collecting boring stuff. There should be way more real exploration, secrets and puzzles. Not just running from map marker to map marker. There is too much fighting in this game, it just doesn't make any sense to kill hundreds of living things. The story itself is too linear. It has some very good quests and stories which keep you invested though.

Why are UA-camrs so obsessed with helping the EA agenda? EA is very bad and by making this video you give them attention. They do NOT deserve this.

Why was the best quest in the game, the extra PS4 bonus quest. It was so much better then the other ones and was genuinely on the edge of my seat playing it

First video I’ve seen of yours (I think lol), very nicely done! My coworker and I shared a sentiment we heard shortly after launch: As a Star Wars game, solid 8/10 As a Star Wars story, 11/10 Villains were wonky at times, but served their purposes at each step. The disastrous launch held this game back in a lotta ways, but I trust Respawn to learn from this for the conclusion of this trilogy.

This is where some dlc would come in great while working on 2nd game. Add some new stuff like some consequences for playing evil as a taste leading into second game. Some new dlc adding a few things into hogwarts and stuff.

Hogwarts Legacy needed to entice players from the entire fandom. This isn't made for gamers, it's made for HP fans. It is exactly the type of game it needs to be and is wildly successful as a result. By a stark comparison a HP-inspired Souls game would not have done as well - the difficulty alienating non-gaming HP fans. Gaming is something that's fairly hot/cold with people either being into it or not at all. Hogwarts Legacy did an amazing job seemingly drawing in that colder audience and dethroning COD as the most sold title of 2023 (US).

Honestly, I hated the way this story unfolded. Abby and Ellie are not the same. What Joel did was to save Ellie. Abby's father was going to kill Ellie. Abby doesn't see the difference. These are not parallel characters. Abby is just a bully and having us play her character and eventually escape fate is a disservice to the story. It can be good storytelling to portray the flip the protagonist and antagonist only if they are mirrors of each other. But this is not that.

I'm just gonna say Spider-Man 2 exceeded all my expectations sorry not sorry, I played it, I liked It moved on to the next game on my backlog

I like this game but once I played it and 100% completed in-game and trophies I haven't touched it since. Whereas with Fallen Order I have played it 5 times. I think the story was better, combat was fun and challenging and the world's were a decent size not big enough to get lost in JFO. Jedi Survivor I think the main criticism I have was the open world part of the game.

I really hope they do a second game. The amount of information they learned, I just feel like number 2 will be a grand slam.

I absolutely loved this game when it came out. The story was gripping, the combat was fun, and the exploration was rewarding. I consider it the best single player game I played in 2023. Awesome video by the way! Came up in my recommended and definitely will be checking out more of your stuff!

Performance is NOT fixed, at least on PC. Respawn has basically abandoned the game, no new patches since January.

i abselutly loved this game. the only thing that fallen order did better was the planets. not so ,much the use and function of them but the fallen order maps truly felt mysterious and ancient. as though you could FEEL the force in it.

It's a beautiful game and combat is good but the pacing of the game is what stops it being a great game. Too many badly designed puzzles or hidden critical paths that you have to search on youtube before you can progress is really annoying. I'm convinced they didn't test any of the puzzles/navigation

i agree mostly , also the game has a thing where its just fucking fun despite its flaws, but i disagree with the exploration part there is no random events or enterable areas or even interactable stuff or activities in most the map . you just do the quests, you don't basically need go on the ground either than to start a quest or pickup something , it feels the city is made to be looked at from above mostly , and come down once or twice during the whole game to just check how things look down there. you cant call mj for a random chat or go hang with her, or anyone else in any kind of way, even for peter's and miles house you cant go back in. the fun part is traversing which is not same as exploration, the map is there to put quest markers in and to swing around and look great from above, but not a living interactable city like some rockstar games or fallout games (i am talking about exploration only here, i know these are very different games) i guess this is mostly still an action adventure game not an actual adventure open world game which i was expecting most of the upgrades and effort will be after the past two games.

I remember playing Jedi survivor as son as I got it. I was lucky enough to have no performance issues throughout my play through, but even if it did have performance issues don’t think it would’ve ruined the experience for me. But having your game crash or not save is just annoying so it’s understandable why people are mad and disappointed.

I honestly thought they were going to have an online option to play against others. Sad they didn't do it. But a well made game none the less. But not really made for keeping players playing after you beat everything
