Went here two weeks ago after seeing a previous video and being lucky enough to be in Guangzhou for the Canton fair. This place is unbelievable and no video can prepare you for the scale. Also after a week in the main city this market was where we encountered the best English speakers and also a money exchange. One thing I wasn't prepared for is the wait for your size, vendors don't carry heaps of stock for obvious reasons. Each exchange took around 30 - 60 minutes. Be prepared to spend more time than you think.
Yeah, and some items you need to wait til 6pm / shop closing. Not that I promote or facilitate or help anyone with such things! No sir

I've been there 2 weeks ago, and all the stuff shown on this video is no l9nger available. Sale of counterfeit has become illegal and police is constantly checking stores which are mostly 3mpty or selling Chinese brands with strange names or prints, some stuff was good though.

Most of these items were actually made in same factory as so called originals! So they are in fact not fake but were unable to pass quality control. Minor unnoticeable flaws. So they are good on budget!!!

I don’t get it, this is only one place, the shelves are full there’s only 10 people shopping. Are those packages outside being shipped? Who’s the market? Very seldom see Chinese people there shopping? Who and why do they make so much.

What are the chances of getting arrested should you bring back a suitcase load of the fake Chinese stuff? If not arrested then getting a hefty fine and everything confiscated? Fake goods are everywhere in China and buying anything can be a disaster waiting to happen when you make your way home😢
