I lived in Guangzhou for a couple of years around 2005/2006 in Tian He, right next to TMall. There used to be a huge computer market like you are touring that I loved to spend hours getting lost in. I still hear "MP san, MP si" in my dreams lol. Thanks for the remote adventuring!
Good times! I’m trying to think what that would have been. The one I used to go to back then was in Gangding/shipaiqiao…just down the way from grand view mall. Haven’t been back in years! They do kind of blend together though…seen one, seen em all
I would love to see more stuff like this. I never get to see anything cool like this. You give us an interesting insight to explore this land more and more. Sometimes dropping hands and little crumbs within each video.
I've been there and I also enjoyed it. Could you please do a detailed video on shipping goods from China to mainland Europe, Canada, USA, Australia for beginners using LCL (Less than Container Load)?
Joe Sniden putting in the work. I love this mate, i work in the CCTV industry so was pausing at several points to see what wares they had on the shelf.
Had I known, I’d have put focus on that for you! Saw loads of stores selling that stuff. I don’t know what people are interested in, there’s a bit of everything here
Hey there, great video-thanks for sharing! I’m familiar with Guangzhou, but I’ve never been to that market. I hope to visit one day. From what I’ve seen in similar videos, the resale price range is quite similar to what you’d find for second-hand items such cameras, Iphones etc here in Europe. I understand that buying in bulk might get you a significant discount, but would that still apply if I’m just looking to buy a few items here and there? I’d appreciate your insight on this. Thanks again for your content!
Please can you do a similar video on the bigger second hand markets down in Shi Pai Dong. All the markets around Dashatou have inflated prices for overseas buyers. You can get much better bargains at places like Go-on Plaza.
I used to work in that industry 20 years ago, we'd get a lot from Taiwan, the better OEM cues would come from Thailand though. One of the biggest challenges was timber shrinking when it was imported from China, we kiln dry ash in the UK to stabilize it, you could get the same blanks made in China for 1 /10th of the price but you would experience the timber shrinking even if it was dried the same in China- i don't understand the science but know the after effect.

Glad to see you back Joe. Great vid with awesome content
Appreciate it! Plenty more to come
As someone who loves electronic goods, seeing all these shops is like stepping into a candyland. I'd spend more than I can carry lol.
Super dope I like these long videos going into the Chinese markets
Thanks man. I appreciate these comments - inspires me to make more! I'll go to the motorbike market, toys, furniture etc!
@@guangjoewould it be possible to do a tour of the factories that make the replica moissanite hip hop jewelery ?

Thanks!
what would be interesting is to see the vintage video game market etc..
Not so prevalent tbh - consoles weren’t a thing here until relatively recently. Nintendo was only here as iQue, for example…

Love to see a snooker related market
Now that’s a niche. Let me see what I can find
Art market could be cool too….. your modified PlayStation reminds me of a n64 I got in Hongkong that had a floppy disk drive for snide games 👍
There’s an artist village on the outskirts of Shenzhen renowned for being the home of forgeries…I’ve been meaning to go for years
