We've taught her how to just let Siri make calls and answer them, and the same with text messages. This AA screen will be great for her, but there's no mention on whether Siri will still work in the AA mode. Please say it will!

How does an iWatch user stay monitored while their iWatch is charging for 1 to 1.5 hours? Buy 2 so they always have one on them while the other is charging? Or just hope nothing happens during that short window of time while their device is charging and also hope they remember to put it back on once charged.

Yeah right. My dad would be pressing the emergency 911 button when he had to use the bathroom. No go, too accessible. He would also forget to hang up. Sigh....

I have had smart phones but I basically need to make and receive calls.I got a Consumer Cellular plan for 50 bucks - 2 lines unlimited everything.So as a pensioner it works for me and the wife who has a smartphone. People saytheir alarm did not go off when they fell, they are supposed to push the alarm button in the middle of the pendant. Someone will answer and you will get help. I am new to this device and gladly have not fallen yet, but I don't see any problems with it.

They can help you fill out paperwork because if you get one thing wrong, you can be rejected and veterans and their spouses think they do not qualify for the help they are due and available for them. Non profit help. They understand the separate veterans dept to call as the different departments do not talk between theirselves when you call Va for help. Thank you Veterans!

Excellent review but I've found the IPhone Senior mode too restrictive. While you can set it up to receive calls and text from unknown callers, you cannot call or text back to an unknown caller. You cannot delete old text messages. No web browser. In Senior mode you cannot add to your contacts. I think the Senior mode is good for those who you are trying to protect from the outside world. Might also be good for children who need to call home or call their pre-approved friends.

I would like to use this on a daily basis, at home or outside. Is there a way to switch from data to wifi depending if im home or outside ?

i had my Iris flip phone for 3 weeks, decided to restart it. then it was frozen. I called CC, was told that a hot shock device had to be added. I had to take it back to Target. where I bought it to have it fixed. I bought it when my Iris connect android locked up. In case any of you buy it without having the hot shock device fixed. Don't try to restart it. You will be frozen.
