Costs in Denmark may be high, but they're not higher than in Norway, where I am. My job pays pretty much the same as an unskilled labor McDonald's position. When I've paid for the stuff I have to pay for (rent, food, etc) I still have at least $800 to spare every month. $1000 if I'm very frugal. It's not about cost of living, it's about fair wages and taxation that pays for vital services like health care.

Our food comes with a health star rating with this bread getting 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. Our Tim Tams get 0.5 stars out of 5 stars with the more stars attained the healthier it is. Wholemeal spaghetti and macaroni gets 5 stars out of 5 stars but wholemeal rice on gets 4 stars out or 5 stars.

We LOVE coffee! I tried Starbucks, it was so piss weak, so I tried a double shot…still piss weak. Haven’t had another, even though that was many years ago. I did try a frappe chino, some yers ago, with loads of cream, ice cream etc. That was quite a yummy sugar hit! But it’s a big fat NO to trying a coffee again.

You were a great country decades ago. 40 years ago in America, a single salary family with 6-8 children was able to afford a nice house, two cars and a wealthy happy life Now a couple, both working 40-50 hours a week, struggle to keep a 2 children family on the average line I hope you find the "old way" and claim back what they take out all you workers and be back to be one of the greatest country in the world

In most countries mothers have much more parental leave for obvious medical reasons, but anyway also the male parent has some days. In some countries the parental leave is "shared" and partents can shuffle those weeks between them in the way they want. In Italiy we have 5 paid months for the mother, 10 paid days for the father. But then both parent have unlimited child sick days until the child is 3 years old (if a doctor certify your child is sick, you go home 100% paid until the child is good) and 10 paid child sick days if the child is between 3 and 8 years old
